It's a Sherry glass! Also I need the cereus spiralis like now 😫 seriously great plants!!! Low key laughed so hard at the "what I look for in a vessel...a narrow top and you know a hole" *jumpcut* 😂
That cactus is dope! I work at a small Mexican restaurant so I’m always on the look out for cool cactus to decorate with. Basically I’m taking my plant hoarding to work now
I love your genuine down to earth 🌎 personality. And I too ge t great joy frommy plants. My fave plant you showed was the last hoya you showed with the big beautiful leaves outlined in white with the lovely veining.
I love you jumping whole heartedly into the humidity needing ones with a king anthurium haha. Also I'd love interesting cactus hauls! Cacti are the best!
I'm not cactus fan.... but the spiral cactus is on my hunt down list and Anthurium is perfect. Thanks for sharing. Please keep us updated on the Anthurium, i am not going to say I don't have room for it because that plant is calling my name, such a beautiful plant..!!!😂😂
I would LOVE to see you trellis the Hoya! I love your excitement! :) My fav was the Rhipsalis! A certain DIY is buy a paint pen, paint & paint the pot & then you can put your own facial response under that gorgeous green hair! LOL! :)
Hi Becca, huge fan of your channel..that Rhipsalis is Baccifera,I think...have a cutting which I just propagate in water and just yesterday, cause of New year 2022,I've planted in soil..or dirt,as you call it 🙂 very helpful info you are putting out here so thank you very much and greetings from Ireland..Happy New year and thank you very much for sharing with us all your experiences with my best friends..plants ❤❤
this is my first video of yours and i just want to thank you for putting the name of the plants on the screen. i watch tons of ‘plant moms’ and so many don’t. it’s so hard to find the plant!!
I am so happy that you showed the Hoya Macrophylla Variegata from Gabriella's because I just ordered it! I absolutely love Gabriella's. I love your haul! Yes, you have a node on your monstera. It is where the roots are coming out. I am so jealous. Lovely plants.
That cactus is beyond amazing and one that I've been looking for, for a while. You would think living in a desert (Palm Springs) it would be easy to find... nope, lol 🌵
Stacy's plants are all GORGEOUS!! And you're right, the purge site is wayyyy too stressful lol. I can never keep up, so I've just come to expect to never 'win' anything lol. Congrats!!
Yes please do a trellis video! It would be great because I am getting a Hoya speckled pubicalix in the mail from Gabriella plants and I think they like to climb. Thanks!
Hi ! Someone had certainly help you but I think that your Rhipsalis is a Rhipsalis Cassutha ! It could be a Baccifera but I think that the stem of the Baccifera is thicker ! Gorgeous plants by the way !
I think I am super excited at all of the plants you got, and also love Rhipsalis, I have two and the one is over 20 years old and started from a tiny plant and now it is pretty big, it also looks likehair, but old hair, Lol. I love that cactus, and have no worries you will have no trouble growing it because of where you live, I on the other hand would probably kill it since I live in cold Idaho and not much light because it is cold for a lot of the time. Thanks Becca for sharing you have got so many beautiful plants and I'm happy for you. Hug Leo he is adorable. Have a great day and I will see you soon, bye for now.
Great haul! I loved the last two. 5he node is where the lsaf joins the stem. If you can don't let it go in water and hopefully you'll get a new leaf from the node. Thanks for sharing and good luck with them all.
It looks like 2 nodes are on the monstera albo, it should grow well. I believe if you have a leaf with a chunk of stem, youre pretty much guarenteed to have a node
Classy shot glass! Haha, probably cute little cordial or mixed drink from the 50’s. That cactus is amazing, super architectural. Hoya Macrophylla is beautiful, please trellis and do care tips! It’s not been the easiest Hoya for me.
A 'node' is just the place the plant roots from. Since yours has roots, it obviously has a node. In the video you're referring to, someone purchased a Monstera without a node which didn't have a chance of rooting since it had nowhere to grow roots from. Yours will be fine!
I'm sooo excited to see the Macrophylla hoya!!! I ordered one from Gariella 3 or 4 days ago and wasn't sure by the photos how big it would actually be. But wow, it's a really nice size. Great deal! Can't wait to get it. Hope I don't kill it :) Wish me luck!
I don't think I've commented on your channel before, but I watch all the time. I'll make this comment count to make up for every time I didn't! Oh that little philo brandi definitely is the cutest thing. They aren't available in Australia (that size cutting would go for a thousand bucks). I will just covet yours instead. That spiralus blows my mind. How can nature produce such wonders? I have that 1st rhipsalis (sold as 'rhipsalis' only with no special name), and it grows fairly fast in a north facing window (that's south for your end of the world). Cissus discolour is a wishlist plant of mine, but heard it's hard not to kill. The foliage is to die for and the vines! Love the thick albo. Surely those roots are coming from a node. Ask an expert though. By the way, what is the difference between a raphidaphora decursiva and an epipremnum pinnatum dragon tail? I have the latter and it looks exactly the same as your raphi. It's confusing. I googled it and it said it was a 'creeping philodendron' too. Whatever it may be, it's such a glossy gorgeous plant and fast entering my top 10. I can't afford to give it bright light because of plant congestion, but it still rewards me. (Nice earrings BTW)
Thank you for your comment! Love it ☺️ I’m going to try my best not to kill this cissus! Haha nature is so cool in what she produces, I’m so happy we get to share in her beauty with houseplants!! 😆
I would plant the monstera variegata now. I had it in water for longer, and the roots began to rot at the ends. I trimmed them and planted it, and it got such long roots in just a week (i checked because i was afraid the roots continue to rot in the soil). And also its node began to sprout 🙂. Now after a couple of weeks i have a new leaf 😁. My cutting was very similar to yours.
Okay awesome!! I just planted it yesterday! Fingers crossed we have similar results... Im definitely nervous about it but eek it's gotta happen someday.
It is hard when you like multiple genus, I feel like if I just collected one genus like Aroid that my collection would be easier to care for and more focused but I am like you I love many genus and varieties! From Kaylee Ellen's video on her Florida Ghost, I believe the new leaves are a lighter color and striped turning dark green. It is in her recent plant tour video. I just got one so I will see. Lol. Florida Beauty is not variegated but Florida Ghost Mint is variegated. The Philodendron Squamiferum looks like the Florida Beauty but has fuzzy petioles. 😁
That’s so true! Just collecting aroids would make care much easier but I could never focus in like that. Thankfully the seller helped me out here and corrected me! It’s actually just a Florida philodendron. So the hunt for a ghost continues 😂
Becca, I love this intro!!! I have been buying plants on Plant Purge USA for a little bit now and it gets a little dangerous I must admit. Definitely some adrenaline rush! I bought that same Philodendron from the same seller! Thought that was awesome! It's scientific name is Philodendron Pedatum, but still it is beautiful to me!
@@BeccaDeLaPlants there are so many great sellers. So many inexpensive prices too. My name is Angie, and I'm a purge-aholic. Plant-aholic. I need to mute those notifications. SHUT THEM DOWN. I don't need more plants.... this week.
The string is turtles is going to be so beautiful when it grows up (not that it isn't already adorable!). I recently combined two of the same plant in one pot, and boom, instant big plant. Why I never thought to do that before I'll never know. Duh!
Sometimes I move water propagated cuttings to spaghnum from water esp if they have been in water long. Summer Raine had video where she suggested that in between step to get the cutting ready for soil.
I think I can see a node on your albo just near where the roots are coming from! And I have a hoya cinamonfolia and the leaves (not variegated) look so similar to your macrophylla. I have an epiprenum pinnatum and it's looks like your rapha d. And I love rhipsalis too! I have about 10. I have the one your not sure of the name and I don't know the name too! Great haul! And lol, I like a hole in my propagation vessels too! I'm with ya- plants are so awesome!
Ah yes!! I learned it has a few nodes 😂 I’m relieved! Epiprenum pinnatum is so cool, awesome that you have one!! HAHA a hole in a propagation vessel is essential lolol
I would suggest you put the cissus in you bathroom w/ the humidifier. I also had an inner monologue about my string of turtles that went something like ‘It’s a peporomia right? Or wait is it a Hoya? Succulent? Crap!’ Then I googled it. Plant brain.
I was told adding a pathos cutting or two to the rooting water will help Hoya to root faster??? Also BeBee Plants did a great video on rooting in large zip lock with potting soil. Have not tried the potting soil version yet . I did add pathos to rooting water on Red Emerald Philodendron cuttings and it did seem they root fast. This came from a propagation video Planterina did.
I have also heard that they help other plants root better! I’ll have to throw in a piece of pothos with the boys to see if it helps. I’m open to anything at this point, I don’t want to lose the plant :(
Great plant haul! I especially love the cactus. That one has been on my wishlist for so long. I just heard a podcast all about peperomias. If your curious is called On The Ledge hosted by Jane Perrone. Great podcast covering all sorts of topics regarding houseplants.
Awesome Haul 🙆🏼♀️🙌🏻 I just ordered my Macrophylla from Gabriella Plants yesterday and I’m SO excited for it ! I couldn’t believe the price on it either for that size. Beautiful plant 😍
Looks like a rhipsalis baccifera! Love rhipsalis! And omggggggg the paradoxica!!! 😍 I have been searching high and low for one. Where did you find it?!
i love the cissus discolor, and cissus in general, i plan on getting one soon. I’ve never seen a cereus spiralis before, i have a monstrose/“ming thing” cereus, but i might have to get a spiralis!! i’m planning on making a small cactus/succulent garden in the near future, and that might have to be my feature plant.
OH MY GOD YOU HAVE A VARIEGATED MONSTERA THAT’S SO COOL I CAN’T BELIEVE SOMEONE GAVE YOU THAT FOR FREE!! (also yes there is a node and feeding it may promote more growth because it looks like you only have 1 or 2 nodes on the cutting)
Becca De La Plants funny, you replied just as i was telling my cousin about the cactus garden and how i would get a cereus spiralis if i could find one
Becca De La Plants also i’d totally show you a picture but. i don’t have instagram or any other social media. If i can find a way to send it through youtube i’ll definitely do it that way 💕
Hey Becca I heard you want a monstera standleyana...pls be patient.. I just bought mine for 20 euros =23 dollars also uploaded an unboxing video...and she's huge 6 feet tall...they are overpriced on Steve leaves...I'm sure they are going to be cheaper soon in America...love your videos :)
I actually already bought one 😫 I feel like I got a good price for the plant I got. It’s not 6 ft, that’s for sure. You got such a great deal!! Can’t wait to see the prices drop over here 🙌🏼
New to your channel and loving it! I have that same Rhipsalis that I found at Lowes believe it or not lol. I have also been searching for the name but nothing I can find looks exactly like it. hmmmm
I wish I had friends to trade with! No one cares that I love plants 😅
Same. Even my "plant loving" friends don't have the passion I do for plants so I'm in the same boat as you.
I hope you find friends soon! Follow @indoorjungledirectory on Instagram - there might be someone in your area that is logged on that account!
I totally feel you.
i can relate 😂
Plants friends dont have to be local .... i have plant friends that live out of state that I swap cuttings with by mail!
The Monstera Albo has a node.👏🏽
Woooo😍
It's a Sherry glass! Also I need the cereus spiralis like now 😫 seriously great plants!!! Low key laughed so hard at the "what I look for in a vessel...a narrow top and you know a hole" *jumpcut* 😂

Wooo!! Okay that’s what I thought but was second guessing 😆
