Yard sale negotiations are fun. As a buyer, I am very experienced. The seller, however, probably very seldom engages in negotiations, and is motivated to sell. The odds are definitely in the favor of the buyer. You seem to have mastered it. Helps that you pick multiple categories. Great. Video John!
I like the Bose system guy. He's a reasonable seller & understands that yard sales are to get rid of items, not get "brand new prices". You being courteous to the sellers also goes a long way in getting better deals!
John since I started watching garage sale/yard, estate sale videos the buyers have been the most courteous, kindness. all of you can really negotiate, Im so afraid when I go to the sales or flea markets, but I see how easy u make it Im going to try it. i binge watch several of u and I stay up half the night. THANK YOU!!!!! I cant wait to see the mask, I love and want it so bad. but pretty sure cant afford it.
Oh wow... that's the best haul I've seen on youtube. I was adding it up in my head and you're looking at a 2k profit easy. Great finds CP! DIANNNAAAAAA
If you want to part out the Bose so you can list it online and not have to worry about the hassle with the Subwoofer, pop off the back cover and remove the amplifier from the sub box, it’s like 6 screws and a plug. Toss the box and just list the amplifier. Very similar on pricing and will save you a ton of time/effort in shipping. Nice finds!
whodidit99 I bet. And he let the guy come up with initial price then walked away from it. Was super nice and chatty then after a good experience he came back to the bose. Can’t believe the guy actually bugged u for the plastic tub dude. He should have let u have it since it was in it and u already bought it. But u were so cool about everything. Never rattled when gettin good deals.
probably intentional, people are more likely to cut people deals when they like you, which is why you do stuff like this and why he does stuff like compliment it and act really interested by asking a bunch of questions. People also enjoy teaching you about the things and talking about them, if they feel it's going to a good home they cut a deal too.
Wow! The sales you go to are so clean and organized. I’m in a smaller town and the sales are in some nasty barn or in some hoarders smoke filled shed. Once in a while I catch a good one. But you have quality folks in your neighborhood. 😀
FYI that animal crossing memory card is worth more than a standard memory card. It came with the animal crossing game and is sought after to complete the game for collectors.
You have a good style. You don't try to cut their throat too bad, and you're pleasant about it.I have a neighbor I hate to take to the sales with me, he pushes way too hard and wants everything for a dollar or less. SPI caliper micrometer is 180 to 260 new, depending on model. so 120 or so would not be out of line
Older Fisher stuff was made in USA and was great. They were bought out by Sanyo and their stuff became much lower quality. Fisher was one of the first American audio companies to sell out.
Great video, I didn't really go out this past weekend but i did end up hitting one estate sale Friday and i picked up some various items. Thanks for sharing another great yard sale sourcing trip video.
I just bought the same Bose system. Better partying out on eBay. Cables go for a lot in themselves. Look up the amp for the sub that in its self is worth $100-150 worth taking a few minutes to take the amp out.
Man, I was good friends with Justin Masterson. I remember throwing catch with him at church camp when he was like six or seven years old, and he's a good deal younger than me. He's an amazing guy.
I just sold a Bose remote just like that for 45 bucks on eBay. Mine was pretty yellowed so you could probably get a tad more. Awesome scores. Even the Bop It is worth money!
I, grew up listening to: Focus on The Family Presents; Adventures in Odyssey on the radio (w/ my Mother). Then in High School we watched The Animated Series
I found a copy of Luigis Mansion a couple years ago and it sold for $40 and it sold within seconds of listing it. It was the quickest sale i have ever had on eBay.
22:25 SPI is a no name brand, but you could easily sell that for $50 to $200. In the future if you see machinist tools you'll want Mitotoyu. If that one was a Mitotoyu easily sell it for $500
At 1.40 the blue helmet you picked up is a "cooper" it's a irish hurling helmet. They sell in ireland for about 200euros and are extreme rare as they dont make them anymore. Did you buy it?
I bought a Wii U and 22 games at 12 last Saturday, this was a sale that was Fri and Saturday, bought all of it for $15. Sold one game already for $25, haven’t tested system yet but was totally shocked it was still at their sale
You might want to do research on the dance mat for the Wii. I’m about to send one (bundled with a game) in to Amazon for $50-$60. I thought it was worthless. $2 for that whole box is insane.
You should call Bose Corporation and tell them you want to trade your system in and upgrade to the new ones. You would be surprised at the discount they give you on a new system. They have trade-in programs on almost all of their products, but it mainly works best for old ones that you can find cheap and broken online or out in the wild. lol
@@cincinnatipicker I love buying old broken Wave Music Systems... old broke ones are cheap and then upgrading them! trade ins on some of the noise cancelling headphones makes sense. Best of luck
As soon as you walked by the Adventures in Odyssey game I was like you didn't pass it up. Glad you got it. I wanted to say something but you already bought your items. LOL
SPI calliper worth up to $800.00 on Amazon for 784.00. sent the image via email to you and what I know you can get for it. Thanks for the great videos I've learned a lot and I look forward to them.
@@cincinnatipicker Scientific tools used for precise accuracy are hella expensive. There are cheaper brands but you pay for the quality of the tools. Bet you can resell that for at least 200.
Uhh yea I wouldn't use it either but for $15 you can easily make some good money reselling it, doesn't matter if it's a brand you like or not someone will buy it
The way he takes his money out of his wallet is so satisfying lmao
Anybody else that flips games shaking their head when he goes through the video game bin???
$200 to $50 with a $13 appetizer. Well done sir. Definitely taking notes 🙂🙂

Yeah I always try to treat people with respect. Thanks for watching!
That one guy knew every single detail about his stuff. The club, the baseball stuff, etc. impressive
$2 for GameCube games and a black label Luigi's Mansion is in there? Jeez man. I'm waiting for my day to score like this.
Edit: AND A WAVEBIRD?!
Whats the significance of the black label Luigi mansion?
Shayne Potter it’s just worth a little more than the player’s choice version
Absolutely killer haul. I was talking to my fiancee (she's from Cincinnati) about how we don't have garage sales like these in Houston, TX.
"You can have it for $50 but you can"t keep my tote!" 😂Great video and nice finds.
Ah jeez man, I can only do $40 then...
Killer sourcing day. Gotta love the people who just need to clear stuff out and aren't trying to put a kid through college by having a garage sale.

I like how you paid the full $13 price to soften them up, then got them down to $50 on the Bose system. Was that intentional?
but its a bose

Seems like he does that a lot. The first thing he finds he usually puts cash in their hands right away even if he hasn't even looked around yet.
Hence why he probably always pays immediately when he gets an item.
I live in cincinnati, but where do you find these HUGE sales?
YOU ARE PROOF THAT INTELLECT STILL EXISTS IN YOU THIER IS HOPE FOR AMERICA AS LONG AS GENTELMEN LIKE YOU ARE AROUND! GOOD LUCK, AND GOD BLESS
I think that’s really cool you buy things and resell them. I love watching your videos.
Thanks for sharing John!!
Thanks for watching!
He passed a jehova witness pamphlet rack at 8:07 lol
Enjoyed the show, John! Thanks for taking us along! 😁

love watching the tension grow between you and the seller at these sales as you're negotiating hahah. Thanks for the video!!

Thanks Kristie, glad you liked it!

you were a negotiating beast out there this weekend lol TFS
HAHAHAHA, thanks Fran!
You scored. My husband worked for Bose! Great information!!
You killed it brother!! $2 for the bin of gaming stuff is a crazyyy deal. That Bose system is a huge come up!! Good luck with your sales!

You are a master negotiator impressive and you are so positive bravo👏👏👏👏👏
To remove magic marker.....dip a Q- tip in rubbing alcohol [91] %,...It works real well. Chico-Detroit
I didn't see a comment on the SPI Caliper -- new around $300 you should be able to get at least $200. Great Find!!
I hate haggling but I’m just buying for myself and not as a reseller. Great video!

the guy in the red hat who says hi to the camera, lol love that

awesome! thanks for the heads up! hope you're doing well Lucas!
Commonwealth Flipper's kids have sold several BopIts from their Homeschool Hustler store.
You always find good stuff!
That was funny that guy said hey everyone!😊😊😊
Dang John, 2.00 for all that stuff, you really scored. that was awesome.
I, grew up listening to: Focus on The Family Presents; Adventures in Odyssey on the radio (w/ my Mother). Then in High School we watched The Animated Series
8:58 the Elvis concert program on the table (1974) has some value depending on condition.
PAUL ABAIR it's probably not for sale
I think that was an amazing haul you got there - especially the videogames for two dollars. Keep the videos coming man!
That video game bin for 2 bucks is an amazing score. Crazy!!
King of Making the Deal John. The Bose, caliper, games, and puppy approved. Now sell that stuff. Have a great week.
Haha, i'll try my best! Thanks for watching Karen!
"HEY EVERYONE OUT THERE"
Cannot believe that tub of wii and cube games for $2 - that was crazy!!!
crazy, right? Thanks for watching guys!

Great score on the video game stuff! That Animal Crossing memory card goes for about 15 too
shadjuice I think he might have overpaid at $2.
Another awesome video John I had that bose system when it first came out in I think around 97. Retail 2 grand at the time.
WOW! That thing wasn't cheap! Thanks for watching Mike!

Fyi the best answer to make me an offer is "I can't buy it and sell it"
That video game score was unreal
Great day! thanks
That was fun - thanks for making these John :)
thanks for watching :) hope you guys are doing well!
You could just use an acetone wash to remove the written marker prices.
8:15 I guess some random dude heard u whistling 😗 and and wanted to show u he can do it better 😂 (in the background)
Hi! A subscriber from the Philippines here. I love watching your video.
if I was looking for yard sales what apps do I use? whats do you use to find them
Some of the Drum pedals for rock band type games can go for $15-$30 just by themselves. Check out the pedal you got and see.

I'm a new sub, and I think my wife would love your channel as much as I am so far
What a score on the $2 box. The guy who sold you that for $2 is so cool!!!
Super cool! Thanks for watching!
LOL!! Hey everyone out there!! 😜Was that a bobinga bowl?!! Haha
HAHAHAHA I was thinking the same thing! Unfortunately it was not :( Thanks for watching Tonya!
Wow! You bought a lot of stuff! TFS!
I collect older baseball mitts, especially catchers mitts which are harder to find.
Jelinek sports the guy was from Oakville Ontario Canada. He put his name on stuff and sold it. Probably made millions in the seventys and eightys.
As soon as you walked by the Adventures in Odyssey game I was like you didn't pass it up. Glad you got it. I wanted to say something but you already bought your items. LOL
Wow, that box of games and assessors for $2.... :O
Swiss Precision Instruments is what SPI stands for. I'm guessing anywhere between $300-$500 but I dont know how big of a market there is..
oh cool, i had no idea! Thanks for the info!
Any advice on how to find lots garage sales? Like should I go around town or look somewhere online?
I got 3 newer ipods for $20. But i dont know how to reset them and clear the old names out before selling. You have any idea what I should do
Love your dog!
4:20 never in my life have i seen a caliper that big. That is awesome! Do you still have it?
It will make me cry but yes Best moments in the video
Great haul!! It was slim pickings South of Houston this weekend.
Great stuff bubba, i think the big calibration tool will do very well. TFS Friend!
I hope so! Thanks for watching!
What a score on that box of misc Nintendo stuff! Nice man! 👍
Wow! Great stuff. Love the box of video games.
Is that your drum set at the end or did you buy to sell it?
Great videos ...definitely subscribing....only question is , how do you find all these hard/gagrage sale ? Please help me
SPI calliper worth up to $800.00 on Amazon for 784.00. sent the image via email to you and what I know you can get for it. Thanks for the great videos I've learned a lot and I look forward to them.

I was going to say thats easily the win of the day. Precision tooling in good condition are an easy sale and the customers pay for quality.
Oh man your dog looks really cool!
That’s a huge caliper!
Great finds! Thanks for sharing
You could about $20 for that Rock Band foot pedal & those Rock band dongles sell well since people always lose them.
The bucket must’ve had some sentimental value
You ever sell the SPI caliper? I'm curious what you got out of it, I'm a machinist and precision tools can grab some big bucks
Not a no name brand giant caliper, i'm a machinist and I wouldn't use it for free. Sucker will buy though
Uhh yea I wouldn't use it either but for $15 you can easily make some good money reselling it, doesn't matter if it's a brand you like or not someone will buy it
you are so smooth with the sellers, great rapport man. Do you think that bowl was bubinga?
My husband passed away and I have a host said of golf clubs in a calloway Bag I'd let go cheap if you're ever down on my way
Fog machine = $100
Fog machine liquid = $20
Easy flip for $2 buy! Crazy...😎🤝
