    Yard sale negotiations are fun. As a buyer, I am very experienced. The seller, however, probably very seldom engages in negotiations, and is motivated to sell. The odds are definitely in the favor of the buyer. You seem to have mastered it. Helps that you pick multiple categories. Great. Video John!

    I like the Bose system guy. He's a reasonable seller & understands that yard sales are to get rid of items, not get "brand new prices". You being courteous to the sellers also goes a long way in getting better deals!

    John since I started watching garage sale/yard, estate sale videos the buyers have been the most courteous, kindness. all of you can really negotiate, Im so afraid when I go to the sales or flea markets, but I see how easy u make it Im going to try it. i binge watch several of u and I stay up half the night. THANK YOU!!!!! I cant wait to see the mask, I love and want it so bad. but pretty sure cant afford it.

    If you want to part out the Bose so you can list it online and not have to worry about the hassle with the Subwoofer, pop off the back cover and remove the amplifier from the sub box, it’s like 6 screws and a plug. Toss the box and just list the amplifier. Very similar on pricing and will save you a ton of time/effort in shipping. Nice finds!

  • @whodidit99
    @whodidit99 5 років тому +83

    I like how you paid the full $13 price to soften them up, then got them down to $50 on the Bose system. Was that intentional?

      whodidit99 I bet. And he let the guy come up with initial price then walked away from it. Was super nice and chatty then after a good experience he came back to the bose. Can’t believe the guy actually bugged u for the plastic tub dude. He should have let u have it since it was in it and u already bought it. But u were so cool about everything. Never rattled when gettin good deals.

    • @whatevername6553
      @whatevername6553 5 років тому +4

      probably intentional, people are more likely to cut people deals when they like you, which is why you do stuff like this and why he does stuff like compliment it and act really interested by asking a bunch of questions. People also enjoy teaching you about the things and talking about them, if they feel it's going to a good home they cut a deal too.
