Chuck Norris: Yeah, I've taken down Castlevania once, no sweat. Stranger: Wow, really? I always thought it was a pretty difficult game. Chuck Norris: What game?
It's like Castlevania and Prince of Persia had a threesome with Roadhouse. The absurdity of just beating the shit out of classic horror creatures with your bare hands, next to the otherwise seriousness of the cinematics really sells this game.
That may be absurd to an extent, but a guy who can beat the shit out of classic horror creatures with his bare hands is not someone who should be taken lightly, I would think.
Wow, the main character is a truly badass, he kills vampires, werewolves and other monsters with only his fists and kicks. Blades and guns are for noobs.
ok this guy is cool asf, all these other demon hunters go in with a full arsenal and he just went in and brawled all these monsters with his fists, this guy is savage asf
Dalaxder Crisper Take into consideration that Rick Taylor turns into a heroic “Jason Voorhees”.Aside from the weapons, he has super human strength. Kyle here uses sheer martial arts to defeat monsters.
Increible ambientacion sonora ¡Inolvidable juego!
This is Spartan X on steroids. The Belmonts : With the sacred whip, we destroy evil! Nosferatu Hero : "I'm here to chew bubblegum, collect crystals and take some balls to the walls"
-The stages music suck +The bosses music is great though -The controls aren't that intuitive, it takes some time to know what you can and can't do, and how to do it. +Once you get how they function, the controls are consistent enough for your character to respond exactly the way you want him to.
How the heck did they manage to cramp so much fmv, music, sfx, animations and textures (not to mention the actual game engine) on a single snes cartridge? I don't know, perhaps I'm easily impressed, but I find this game insanely impressive for the technology it runs on!
+Koon That is because SETA teamed up with a very talented Japanese developer to work on this game- Opus Corporation. Masanao Akahori and Jun Enoki were the company's best's composers. Opus is still around today.
Probably by re-using 90% of the assets of the castle interior over and over, shifting the hue slightly. I don't think I could play this with how repetitive the inside of the castle looks.
pretty damn impressive game for SNES standards...the spooky atmosphere and music are phenomenal. never went too far as a kid but I might play it again soon.
This game gave me goosebumps. It was so challenging for me as a child, specially because there were no UA-cam or other aids to know what to do or go in some stages.
Dracula "Foolish mortal, how do you think you can defeat me? You lack any magical weapon such as a enchanted whip, the only things that can injure m..." * gets a punch in the stomach * Dracula goes down as he writhes in pain. Dracula " * gasp * How dare you mortal! you will..." * Dracula receives a roundhouse kick that throws him across the room * Dracula manages to crawl up but has lowered his head into his shoulders, putting his arms in front of his face to protect himself from further blows as he backs away. * Dracula receives an uppercut that once more throws him to the ground * By now his face is a mess, blood is pouring from his broken nose and he has lost several teeth. He is crawling into a ball as he is in complete agony. Dracula "Uncle uncle! I surrender, I surrender!"
Pretty fun to watch the gameplay of this game 😊 Makes me wonder what a Resident Evil-type game in this style would be like. I played cinematic platformers years ago and was fascinated by the graphics and smooth movements of the characters. After looking this game up, I see it was made in Japan, but it's the only cinematic platformer from the region I've found. The rest are from western developers.
Yeah, those were highly detailed cuscenes being played in 256x224 resolution in a machine with 64 kb of video ram. What did you expect, 4K textures and 144 fps?
A very hard game. The weird animations and the silly fight mechanics made it even harder. It was very interesting to see a seasoned player getting into critical situations. A truly nightmare. Well played.
Damn, that's what I call guts! Marching into a vampire's lair bare-handed! :D But why he just didn't take a sword or at least a damn sling along with him?
ah yes Nosteratu a rare gem for the snes, alot of ppl over look this game it was one of the best opening graphic animations for the snes back in the day imo.
this game is one of the best snes games i've ever played, i used to play it as a kid, it's a shame that i lost it, i would like to have it again, by the way, good longplay.
Man, this game's full name must be "Nosferatu: the house of glass chins", because seems like nobody on the supernatural enemy list can take a punch to the chin too well. Did Nosferatu do his recruitment based on the advice of Glass Joe from Punch Out?
The first time I played this title was when I was 6 years old and I could never get past the third final boss, and I had never seen that I was still there, how good to remember those epochs
vampirebatlord4ever Meh... He looks familiar, but not Brand I believe. Brand wore jogging pants under shorts, a muscle shirt, and the ubiquitous '80s headband.
Looks like a pretty unsettling game for the SNES if you were playing in the dark, with its realistic visuals and disturbing soundtrack. Clock Tower's probably the only thing in the library that did it better. I love the touches like 2:35 where you can see the enemies from a different "camera" angle, and the first boss turning into a werewolf as the moon slowly reveals itself.
Anachronism stew. Hero looks fairly current (for its time) clothes wise, yet his girlfriend dresses like Mina Harker, and he rides a horse to save her lol
What a tease...I would have thought it was based on F.W. Murnau's silent film classic or at least the remake starring Klaus Kinski. A game centered around Count Orlock is destined to be a good one. Too bad that can't be said for whatever THIS is.
Since when was there an actual "Nosferatu" game for the SNES?!? I was once into ALL things vampire, which is why I don't understand how it could've gone unnoticed by me!🤔
great games on the snes, i just dont get the same feeling when i am playing games today games have lost so much feeling i think, so i am getting in my time machine and heading back to the 90s, i say time machine but i mean snes emulator for ps2, its the closest i can get to going back
I remember this vampire game for the super nes where this guy named kyle has to save his girlfriend from count Dracula and his monsters by traveling on his haunted castle island. Me and my brother love playing this game a lot when we where young and it was fun the graphics, music and the dark gothic atmosphere felt it was like a beat em up version castlevania but using self defends without any use of weaponry and the gameplay has that prince of Persia felt to it so prince of Persia and castlevania are both games that use weapons to kill monsters and people while in nosferatu kyle just fights with his bare hands to kill monsters and vampires good for kyle for being a smart fearless hero for risking his life against demons and monsters without hesitation hahahahaha. The game over screen use to scared me one time when I saw count Dracula biting off kyle's girlfriend neck what a creepy game over screen if you ask me. But anyway this game was great oh the memories of the super nes so thank you for uploading this video hell yeah.
I love the detail in both ambiance and graphics. You would be immerse in seconds, traveling in haunted backgrounds to retrieve your girlfriend from unspeakable evil.It really feels dark...O_O What surprised me the most was the main character:Taking matter into his own hands...literally! I had the Belmonts in high,HIGH regard...but after this?!?!?! ehhhh..>_>
This looks like Castlevania and Prince of Persia had an illegitimate son. But it is freaking awesome!
Dean Andrews I think you never played this game, the controls are freaking terrible.
Dean Andrews
Prince of Castlevania.
I love this game though.
+post-apocalyptic coming soon Prince of Castlevania?
Wouldn't that be Alucard? *BA DUM CH*
Castlevania and Prince of Persia had an illegitimate son while they played Final Fight
Guy punches like rocky or double dragon! Also reminds me of out of this world or blackthorn the way he moves eh
Chuck Norris: Yeah, I've taken down Castlevania once, no sweat.
Stranger: Wow, really? I always thought it was a pretty difficult game.
Chuck Norris: What game?
It's like Castlevania and Prince of Persia had a threesome with Roadhouse.

Wow, the main character is a truly badass, he kills vampires, werewolves and other monsters with only his fists and kicks. Blades and guns are for noobs.
exactly what I thought
screw van helsing and the Belmont family
just take some Thai boxing lessons and beat the crap out of monsters
like that will work for real. lol but i see your humor of it.
BR?
trollfist taught by rocky Chuck Norris double dragon?
jajaj is true
ok this guy is cool asf, all these other demon hunters go in with a full arsenal and he just went in and brawled all these monsters with his fists, this guy is savage asf
ToshibaXll which show him a baddass human not to be messing with
ToshibaXll what about Spatterhouse? You can punch and kick monster there too. Just don't use a weapon
+ToshibaXII
Yeah, this guy makes Chuck Norris look like a wimp.
Dalaxder Crisper Take into consideration that Rick Taylor turns into a heroic “Jason Voorhees”.Aside from the weapons, he has super human strength.
Kyle here uses sheer martial arts to defeat monsters.
The Belmonts, Arthur, Link and all the others are just pussies compared to Kyle...

The Belmonts : With the sacred whip, we destroy evil!
Nosferatu Hero : "I'm here to chew bubblegum, collect crystals and take some balls to the walls"
This player just finished off the legendary werewolf by kneeing him in the balls. This game is amazing.
'Wolfman's got nards!'
Ooooooooooooooow
ackbarfan5556 dude was going for that. Phrase Classic!!
That soundtrack, so 80's.
Looks amazing.
+Centipede It's like John Carpenter wrote it.
So Industrial
You showed up at 2:17
@@SmokinJoe1 Yeah, industrial. It reminds me of Klayton's early Circle of Dust albums, at least with the drum samples.
8/10:
+Gorgeous cutscenes
+Cool and atmospheric music (for the most part)
+Smooth animation
-Terrible controls
-The music is boring and repetitive
+Controls are solid and consistent
There, fixed it for you
Great tunes too.
+The music is atmospheric and dope
-It won’t cook dinner for you
-The stages music suck
+The bosses music is great though
-The controls aren't that intuitive, it takes some time to know what you can and can't do, and how to do it.
+Once you get how they function, the controls are consistent enough for your character to respond exactly the way you want him to.
@@derakino999 consistently bad. running is a cointoss. you have to press forward twice and if you're lucky, it'll work.
How the heck did they manage to cramp so much fmv, music, sfx, animations and textures (not to mention the actual game engine) on a single snes cartridge? I don't know, perhaps I'm easily impressed, but I find this game insanely impressive for the technology it runs on!
+Gun-bunny You aren't. It IS a milestone in what a SNES cartridge could handle.
+Koon Maybe they saved memory by only using 1% of the available color palette. J/k, but this does look pretty monochromatic.
+Koon That is because SETA teamed up with a very talented Japanese developer to work on this game- Opus Corporation. Masanao Akahori and Jun Enoki were the company's best's composers. Opus is still around today.

@@scissorman44 prove it please.
that guy has some serious balls, punching monsters and shit
Great atmospheric music! any others like it?
I know this reply is years late, but might I suggest Circle of Dust's albums from the 1990's?
1:51 - STAGE 1
7:13 - STAGE 2
14:28 - STAGE 3
24:12 - STAGE 4
29:16 - STAGE 5

Belmonts: We'll kill Dracula and his evil minions with our whips and weapons!
The dude from Nosferatu: Hold all my stuff
Sin duda es el mejor juego que jugue een mi niñez,que lindos recuerdos.Gracias por haber subido este video =)
14:27 Awesome music. Never heard a main theme this awesome in games like Zelda or Mario.
40:16 Great music
pretty damn impressive game for SNES standards...the spooky atmosphere and music are phenomenal. never went too far as a kid but I might play it again soon.
Just love that opening theme. Reminds me of 80's and early 90's sci-fi thrillers or action movies.
This game gave me goosebumps. It was so challenging for me as a child, specially because there were no UA-cam or other aids to know what to do or go in some stages.
6:57 Nothing stops a wolf better than a knee in the nuts!
One of the best sprite works for SNES.
ahh Nosferatu, When Castlevania meets Fist of The North Star
Dracula "Foolish mortal, how do you think you can defeat me? You lack any magical weapon such as a enchanted whip, the only things that can injure m..."

this gotta be one of the best action-horror games for the snes console... sweet :'D
2:17 Imagine if you where in your basement, and a giant centipede crawled out from inside a wall. I'd have a heart attack.
Well not before thorough soaking my pants and putting a permanent brown spot on the backside.
No wooden stake? No sunlight? No holy water? No crucifix? Just a few punches? Come on man!
MC's a pretty cool guy....He punches Werewolves, vampires and demon with his bare fists and doesn't afraid of anything.
i love how the intro looks like it was filmed with a Smartphone.....
Yeah, those were highly detailed cuscenes being played in 256x224 resolution in a machine with 64 kb of video ram. What did you expect, 4K textures and 144 fps?
Coming from a Sega fanboy,I'll be the first one to admit that SNES had some bad ass games too...and this game right here is a perfect example of that.
Oh, Nosferatu!
Ha ha! SpongeBob reference!
@kakiku I totally agreed. This guy is really awesome. Fighting forces of darkness only with his fists. Too bad he didn't show up in other games.
Better than the sega cd version of Dracula.
The best SNES intro cutscene ever made.
The ending is beautiful!! I really want the endless running horse in the sunset as a live wallpaper for my laptop! :)
Great job! You really took it to this game!
VERY impressive animation and story for its time for video games
I wonder if the pixel art was done using rotoscoping method on a stunt actor. Main characters movements are beautifully slick.
This looks really well done
ah yes Nosteratu a rare gem for the snes, alot of ppl over look this game it was one of the best opening graphic animations for the snes back in the day imo.
52:19 K. Igarashi? Is that Koji Igarashi from the Castlevania series??
EDIT: Correcting myself here: This is Kozo Igarashi, not Koji Igarashi.
Good playthrough. Would be better if the audio and video were synchronized.
Awesome soundtrack on this one.
this game is one of the best snes games i've ever played, i used to play it as a kid, it's a shame that i lost it, i would like to have it again, by the way, good longplay.

that's a proper chad, punching zombies and gargoyles
Damn, this guy's jabs and crosses are more efficient than any silver bullet or stake known to man🥊
Whoever is playing is playin dis damn Game LIKE A BOSS!
The first time I played this title was when I was 6 years old and I could never get past the third final boss, and I had never seen that I was still there, how good to remember those epochs
That final boss didn't look much like Max Schreck.. When he was defeated I did expect to hear the Street Fighter announcer yell "K.O.!"
for some reason i always think this hero is the big brother from "The Goonies" with how he's dressed. :o
Holy crap I've always seen that.
vampirebatlord4ever Meh... He looks familiar, but not Brand I believe. Brand wore jogging pants under shorts, a muscle shirt, and the ubiquitous '80s headband.
vampires , monsters and zombies? no problem , just practice some boxing , that will be fine...
It would be cool if Kyle had some weapons to fight the monsters with.
Horrorfreak106 His Arms and Feet are his weapons. It make you a badass human who rekt all undead creatures with your own body
This is like Streets of Rage mixed with Prince of Persia with creepy music.. I need this game in my life..
Vai gostei muito dessa longplay parabéns continui assim
If ever a game needed blood, this is it.

Wow... this game is INTENSE!
What a cool soundtrack!
It's a tough game to reach the end of it. Nice work
At one point, the Level 5 boss battle became...Python-esque.
Dude reminds me of splatterhouse fun and entertaining
Dude... I've never seen or heard of this game... a badass prince of persia clone with awesome atmosphere! Why did i never play this?
Alien 3 + Prince of Persia = great game
what the fuck!? this game looks awesome! the music reminds me of silent hill 3's brookhaven hospital
The old Resident Evil Villege
This game looks really friggin badass.

pretty awesome looking game

Whenever I feel a bit sleepy watching this, the song sounds like it's trying to say Koflot.
back when horror games were still 2d! this one rarely scared me but it was still thrilling
Dude can box. Check out those FADC's he pulls off to extend the combo.
Why do I get the feeling that John Carpenter wrote the music for this game?
This could’ve been easily a ps1 game. Developers underestimated the power of the snes
never knew this existed. looks like fun!
this looks incredible! When did it come out?
How i havent heard of this snes game. Seems so pretty
I love the detail in both ambiance and graphics. You would be immerse in seconds, traveling in haunted backgrounds to retrieve your girlfriend from unspeakable evil.It really feels dark...O_O

This game looks extremely well made for a super nintendo title wtf.
Awesome game!
Top 10 best game SNES
Simple math, Nosferatu = Prince of Persia + Castlevania + Streets of rage
Finally, yt recommended me good shit
Main charater : "I am here to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I am all out of bubblegum"
Who needs a Belmont when you have this guy? And he doesn't even need a whip!
This guy's as bad ass as Rick Taylor from splatterhouse!
Great animation of the time.
