Amazing video Jeff! Imagine where Texas whiskey will be in 20, then 50 years from now! Thank you so much for allowing me and the DFW Whiskey Club the opportunity to be part of this episode! It was awesome having you at the house and I hope you can stay for some extra pours next trip!
Thanks so much brother and I appreciate the hospitality and you taking part in the episode. I’m excited to continue to watch the growth and how cool will it be to do another episode in 10-20 years? Cheers and thanks for the support. 🥃-Jeff
Thanks so much and glad you enjoyed the episode. I’m hoping travel returns to “normal” soon so I can get back to filming some cool stories around the 🌏. Cheers and as always thanks so much for the support and comment. -Jeff
That’s amazing. I’ve not been drinking many spirits for a few years and just got interested again since my visit to the Cognac region. Now l see all the options out there.. holly smokes 🤩
Awesome video. We have some NY single malt aging in Garrison Brothers casks that will be very interesting to taste in a couple years. They smelled amazing when they arrived.
Thanks so much and I appreciate taking time to comment. I love reading comments like this and hearing all about the amazing projects like you described. I’ve been watching what NY is doing in the Hudson valley etc. Really exciting times to be a connoisseur of spirits. Cheers, -Jeff
This channel feels like the ESPN of distilled spirits. Great episode. I love me some Texas whiskey. I recognized most of the folks that you interviewed. 👍🏼
So glad you enjoy the channel and I’m moving to Scotland in a few months and gearing up to tell stories from there. Louisiana rum sounds like an awesome story. I’ll definitely look into it. Any distilleries you recommend? Cheers, -Jeff
Hahahahha i drank my last bottle of Texas whiskey a few weeks ago. I’m right there with you brother, gotta get a bottle now. Hahahaha cheers and glad you enjoyed the episode. -Jeff
Thanks brother. Yeah with the pandemic it has slowed down episodes. But hopefully we will get back to “normal” soon. Cheers and I appreciate the support and feedback. -Jeff
You should change the name of your channel to just Jeff Bradford! I thought this was some lame channel for a magazine but your content is awesome. Just waiting for you to explode. I'd love to see more international stuff
Thanks for comment Matt and I’m in Scotland for the next year learning about 🥃. I will have a lot of episodes focused on whisky this year. Cheers brother and appreciate the feedback! -Jeff
My favorite whiskey is Balcones Texas Pot Still Bourbon, and the Musician from Still Austin and the Baby Blue corn whisky from Balcones are in contention for second. 🤠⭐
@@drinkdestinations I tried their boot flask and I couldn't drink it - the stuff tasted like grass. And their other bottles cost way more than I can afford.
Amazing video!!! Ive follow u for quite a while and I love the respect and love u have for everything u are doing. Im from Peru and I hope u can travel here or any other country in Latinoamerica. Pisco has a lot of history and culture, and in Latinoamerica u can try Cachaca and different high quality wines and rums. Much love from Perú!!!
Can’t thank you enough for the comment brother it made my day. 🇵🇪 is definitely on the list of places to travel and South America is has so many fascinating beers, wines, and spirits. I can’t wait to get over there and visit. Can’t thank you enough for your support and thanks for the comment. I’m glad that my passions be love for bringing value to the industry is shown. Cheers-Jeff
@@drinkdestinations Alright! Would be interesting to see the two end of the spectrum. 1) well known and establish brand making one of their finest product (plantation rum XO 20th)....&.... 2) another video with a less known 1 man show with lots of experience (similar to your video with Neven in Croatia). I have started to do my own Rum... Very interested to see others' process, tools, techniques etc... There is an old National geographic long video on youtube of a Barcadi tour!! Super interesting. Looking forward to see your next videos! Cheers.
Yes there is. Check it out www.Texas whiskey trail.com. You can become a trail member, earn points etc. Etc. Thanks so much, and glad you enjoyed the episode. -Jeff
@@rescuethecows thanks and yeah they were still running brewery ops mainly canning their beers next door. Deep ellum beer is great also. I love the vibe of the area too! Cheers
It’s on my list to visit. Hopefully travel will resume to somewhat “normal” so it will be easier for me to travel again. Thanks so much for the comment and glad you enjoy the episodes. Cheers, -Jeff
Man, I don’t have the time nor space to write a list, but I covered a lot of ground and tried over 25 distilleries whiskeys here in my short time in Texas. Ranging from iron root up north to gulf coast distillers in Houston and everywhere and thing in between.
I can definitely see why you enjoy GBros. They make some damn good whiskey. I’m over in Scotland now enjoying drams of Scotch and learning all about whisky here. My next whisky documentary🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I love the Texas Whiskey scene and the amazing whiskey coming out of it. Dare I say it’s Kentucky’s younger, more ambitious, risk-taking sibling. But TEXAS is not a good enough selling point to me. “It’s just different”...”CORN”...”experimental”..everything they’re saying is the same old thing. Focus on the climate. Focus on something that TRULY makes a difference instead of falling into the “Texas is a brand” trap
I’m looking forward to going back and learning more. As I’m Traveling around the world and in The US, there are still so many people that don’t know about Texas whiskey. Sounds crazy to say right? Thanks so much for commenting and spot on about risk-taking sibling. Cheers 🥃-Jeff
Texas wont be able to establish its taste until they are able to age longer without oak take over. Im sure they are honing in on char levels. age and cask refills for that refined Texas Taste.
Texas Whiskey is so innovative and unique as well with the capacity of stiring the industry.... ha but they can't ship, because of outdated laws (IMO). Texas is missing an industry boom with that output capacuty... just saying!
Hello, I'm watching from France ! You should make a video with "Geulleton les bons vivants". You will drink excellent wine with them and eat excellent food. I advise you to check their UA-cam channel 😉😀
Thanks for the comment and those dudes have such a great YT channel. The food and wine in the videos is amazing. I will definitely reach out to them when I travel to France. I appreciate the info🙏-Jeff
thank you Crowed Barrel for sharing Texas whiskey with the Whiskey Tribe! Loving it.

Yellow rose is by far my favourite distillery out of Texas! The outlaw bourbon (100% corn mash) is outstanding!
I’ve never tried 100 percent corn mash. Iron root was making one when I was there. I’ve heard great things about yellow rose.
Another great episode my friend. Hope all is well.
What’s up brother? When you filming again? Congrats on the new place and I see you making your rounds again. Cheers
Garrison Brothers is some of the finest Whiskey I ever laid my lip on and I lived in Tennessee/Kentucky area for quite a while.
Yes sir!!!!! Love what they are doing for Texas whiskey and couldn’t agree more with you. Such an amazing whiskey. Cheers and thanks for sharing -Jeff
Great work as usual man! Never been to Texas but always been curios about the culture. Now there is another reason to do so!
Thanks so much brother! Texas is awesome and you won’t be disappointed at all. Bring an extra suitcase for the whiskey. Hahahaha

Texas is a great state with fantastic whiskey which is almost half as good as Kentucky whiskey.
