My daughter and son-in-law had a problem with one of their casement windows and I sent them the attachment to this video. I was an independent service technician for a major vinyl window manufacturer year ago and that wrench made alot happy homeowners. Otherwise, the only other way, was to replace the hinges, which it would be very costly for the hinges and labor. Your video was a life saver. Thank You!👍

What exactly does it adjust?? Does it bring the window in or out? Side to side? How do you know when it needs to be adjusted?
It’s to adjust the window sash so it can close all the way in so you can lock it. Sometimes the outside bottom corner or top corner of the sash can hit the window frame not allowing the sash to come all the way closed. The adjustment allows you to raise or lower that corner for clearance.
Thank you for this video. I had purchased replacement Truth hinges, and the new track didn't have the adjustable stud. I had to reuse my old track. Is there a way to adjust the window without the adjustable stud?

What size wrench are you using? I have tried 3/8 and 7/16...neither worked.
