This is based off a UK tv show called Dead Set - set around the Big Brother (“BB”) house in an apocalypse. Dead Set was massive in 2000’s because the UK public loved BB - even BB’s host Davina McCall plays herself in it! It’s actually a very good watch, and you can see scenes in this show which directly mirror Dead Set.
Sweden also had a show like this, although it was more a comedy horror, rather than just horror, but rather than staying on the remote farm they were filming on, they decided to travel to the city.
Yeah it was actually good. Ending was pretty bleak too if I recall.

33:07 when you felt it was weird that the guard assumed the guy with a gun was a drug dealer. Thing is, in Brazil, there are only 2 groups with guns: military and police officers and drug dealers. It's pretty hard to get a gun license in Brazil, so it's easy to assume that someone who knows how to fire a gun may be either a police guy or a drug dealer guy, especially in Rio de Janeiro.
It's extremely hard to get a Gun legitimately in Brazil, unless you go Black Market, from what I've heard.
South America has had a lot of political and economic troubles over the past decade and they're afraid of an armed populace because of it.

A really good reason i use for transmission rates in zombie films is heart rate. I usually think of a reason the person may have a faster beating heart. Like they cannot control their panic as well, and maybe like with the club scene, the people were getting cardio and the infected blood got to the brain quicker.

GuertLeNub well i grew up playing cod and battlefield which taught me basic knowledge of the functions of firearms, like reloading, racking the slide, or clearing a malfunction. But you still need to get to a shooting range to learn correctly.
That cockroach is the coolest and smartest character in this entire series. That's saying something.
The "fly over a town on fire" trope usually implies that soldiers, cops and the occasional civilian are trying to fight back against the zombies and at that point in time no one would know to go for the head. So the cops and soldiers would be fighting the hordes with heavy machine guns and ars meaning lots of abandoned cars would be exploding. Also civilians would be using gasoline and molotovs to try and burn away the zombies and there's also all of the drug dealers and gangs that live in Rio to consider.

If they were trying to use slap rounds, that means the military was prepared and knew how to deal with this. Obviously it wasnt deployed in what we see in the series(the outbreak even reached the parliament before the nation even noticed to mobilize the armed forved. It does not make any sense at all, Even if you ignite the gasoline, it doesnt explode at the level you see in the movie. Furthmore Slap rounds are meant to engage vehicles(tell me would zombies drive vehicles?)m If you want to deal with zombies in a incendiary way, then use napalm which is better for burning.

honest review here: I only watched cuz I was bored and there are only a few eps of 25-30 mins, awesome zombies makeup, bad plot, unexpected turns etc... overall it's so shit that is actually good

Actually they say "after the news" constantly in TV. The arsonist actually did nothing, so its even more non sensical. The govern gal is apparently showed as a clever character... Nothing more to say. And reality shows here are weird and indeed have memberships for 24/7 watch (it's called BBB Big Brother Brasil). It's semi impossible to have a assault weapon here, even more legally, drug dealling is pretty strong in Brazil (especially in RIO)

22:30 style theory did a video on it. They didn’t even stop on the skull, they were using it handheld. It’s possible to pierce a skull with a stiletto heel because all of the force will be in a small area. No guarantee that the heel won’t break in the process, though

If a zombie show/film has no sins its boring and unrealistic, either the zombies dont escape the first 2 mile radius they appeared or they're so OP there's no real point to having survivors (who would be boring survival experts who are also perfect)

As a Brazillian I must admit, this show got infested with a lot of brazillian cliches commonly used to create drama in our soap operas. However, I do think it was a step in the right diretion, going towards a still inexplored way here in Brazillian studios. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a good show, but I think it wasn't that bad for a first attempt.
Solutions as to how Infected cause Frequent Explosions:
1) Panicked drivers crashing either due to their own impatience or due to swerving to avoid Infected and fleeing people
2)People attempting to shoot Infected missing and hitting flammable containers
3) After some time, power plants and such would most likely not be able to be handled by humans, and explode

Say what you will, but I liked this adaptation a lot. Good retelling of the original and adding some new stuff with the second group. These videos are fun for pointing out things in a hyper detail-oriented way, so I can appreciate both. Hoping for more Brazilian zombie media soon.

@WowSuchGaming Have you ever heard of Dead Set? It's basically like the British reality show Big Brother but with Zombies. Since the people in the Reality Show have very little interaction with the outside world they aren't aware that the Apocalypse has happened and act like normal but then slowly things start to come into place that they are effectively trapped.
It kinda reminds me of this.
It's just a Mini Series and nobody really talks about it, it's kind of interesting and eventually lead to Black Mirror I've heard.

I know he’s done Shaun of the Dead but I think zombie comedies should just get a free pass. Accuracy probably wasn’t the priority when writing it. Whereas filmmakers who try and make a serious attempt at a zombie movie or tv show should try and make as much effort as possible
