I just discovered your channel and I’ve enjoyed all your Japan content so far! I love the way you create videos. 🤍 Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
Wow, what a stunning vlog! The footage of Arashiyama forest was breathtaking and truly captured its natural beauty. Your cinematography skills are top-notch and really elevated the overall viewing experience. The highlights of the different activities you can do in the forest were well showcased, making me want to visit Arashiyama and experience it for myself. Keep up the amazing work! 🌳🎥✨
I’ve been binge watching your videos on your channel, and I just love the way you both fully immerse yourself into the country and it’s culture. You guys make me want to travel with my husband everywhere too!! Thank you for the amazing content 🫶🏼🤎
Thanks for sharing your lovely vlogs. You are our tourist guide. We are planning to visit Japan this Spring. You showed those lovely 😍 tourist spots. Take care and have more fun.🥰🥰🥰
Arashiyama was my favorite place to visit! Thanks for letting me relive my trip through your vlog. You both are awkwardly funny :) Keep up the great work!
Love your vlogs of Kyoto, Japan and other cities you visited. The sceneries are fantastic the way you guys showed them. I enjoyed watching your vlogs. Enjoy your holidays and vlogging. Take care and God bless always.❤❤❤
Hmm Kyoto--if we have a choice to live anywhere in Japan...it would be that city (foreigners can actually purchase properties in Japan). Those monkeys are cute and funny. I'm not sure if it's the same kind but the monkeys at Jigokudani Monkey Park (snow monkeys) at Nagano are a little bastos lol...some of them old ones would expose their ding-a-lings and had to steer the kids away from it lol. Ya'll make us miss Japan man. Great production as always. Continue to show us the world.
Thank you Rae! So this video was our first day in Kyoto and we basically just explored arishiyama town and fed the wild monkeys! We’ll have another Kyoto vlog up in an hour if u want to see more things to do in Kyoto :)
I just found your channel while researching for an upcoming trip to Japan, taking notes! 📝 Ann, where did you get your small black crossbody bag in this vlog? Looks like the perfect travel size to hold just the essentials📱💄 💳 💵 Thanks for the tips!
Great vlog! Can you guys go in depth regarding your itinerary and expenses for Japan? I’m going there in April with my girlfriend and we are also from Canada. So any tip videos would be great!

15:36, Yeah that sucks. I always use credit card when I eat in Australia, the US and Europe and they accept. Last summer, I travel to Europe like London, Amsterdam, Paris, Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Venice, Vienna and Prague for the 1st time, they accept credit card, which is good.
Been watching your vlogs lately its very relaxing and informative, me and my wife love it! and you both look good together! We’ll be visiting Japan for our honeymoon this February and your vlog is really helpful, just wanna ask if do we need to apply a permit to fly a drone on the places you flew? Thanks and Godspeed 🙏🏻
Thank you idol! We also love watching your videos, especially my family! And to answer your question, in most places in Japan you do need a permit! I was asking around too before our trip but i didnt get a proper answer but all i know is that japan is really strict about drone flying except in Mt Fuji. I actually didnt fly my drone in Japan except in Mt fuji. Most of our drone shots is from storyblocks (licensed websites) 😊
@@JanandAnn ohh nice! Thank you thank you!! Say hi to everyone! Keep it up guys! your vlogs is really nice and very informative! Stay safe and Godspeed! 😎🤙🏻
Kyoto looks like a really cool place to be Jan and Ann monkeys great sights to see nice food but a lot of places there don't take a credit or debit card? Strange I thought that Japan would be more into accepting those kinds of cards for payments in more areas But yeah it's good to have cash with you easier to save money that way to. Take care 👍👍🆒🆒😎😎
Hi guys! Loving your content 😎 I am headed to Japan soon and wanted to ask you if you have any tips on how much Japanese currency to carry for a two week trip. It would be super helpful! For reference, I am visiting Tokyo (about a week here), the other week is split between Kyoto and Osaka. Thank you!! :)
Love watching your vids. Mind sharing where did you guys stay? I’ll be there first week of June and researching for accommodations that’s near the train station. Not my first time in Japan but the transportation sometimes gives me a headache lol
Thanks for your awesome video! Could you pls share which dates in November you were in Kyoto? I’m trying to decide between mid or late November to catch the autumn leaves?
Best part of this video is AFTER you left the touristy Arashiyama area... so much to see in Kyoto, but Arashiyama is really not that unique, as you'll see the longer you explore the backroads of Kyoto and the neighborhoods around the temples. Good luck.
we definitely didnt scratch the surface on things to do and see in Kyoto since we ran out of days but we will for sure go back and explore more of what Kyoto has to offer :) thanks for watching Bryan!
it's a Japanese macaque. When people say snow monkeys, they usually mean the Japanese macaque, that live in Nagano prefecture, in Jigokudani valley. The ones famous for bathing in hot springs in the winter. Which is also a better place for some monkey watching:)
This is meant to b constructive...noticed that Jan can sometimes be condescending, or maybe immaturely playful... he would say stuff to Ann that are not pleasant. Not just in this video but in other videos too and Ann is just too nice not to say anything. It could b innocent joke but sometimes it comes off as harsh. Please be nice to Ann, she seems like a wonderful and kind person and sometimes d uncalled for remarks may not not sit well with her and those that love her...my 2 cents only. Peace❤

Udon restaurants such as those are everywhere in Kyoto. Look for the smaller shops and if there are a few people waiting, the better it is. Good luck.

Cash is king in Japan because they value security and reliability and fear fraud. (Cashless options open them to personal info leakage).
Oh make sense! 😁
