An in depth guide to the boss of M3, Artemis. I was having some technical difficulties when i was making this, so apologies if the audio seems to raise and lower a lot.

Why do I hear talking? Did Nero get a VA update? Lop anyways, I've never seen the Nuke move. They should've made it waay faster. It's pretty and would've made the fight more cinematic.

The devs are playful. Just read the description of the Sweet Surrender. Nico also says, "For those hard to reach itches. I'm sure Kyrie will love it, if you catch my meaning." Nico straight up made a Hitachi magic wand arm. Mad lass.
Another way to do it with V is you summon Nightmare and dodge with Shadow so you have no chance of getting hit but also try and perform skewer while charging up Griffon and release when fully charge, she'll go down pretty fast

When doing the Vergil campaign I got up in the boss' face like this, but eventually she uses the small bombs attack which all instantly spawned on me and instakilled. After a few tries of trying to identify any kind of tell for this I had to give up playing aggressive and do the good old spam magic...
Yess, I actually want V's guide for bosses. Fighting bosses with him in high difficulty is f*cing nightmare to my patience. It's hard to burst with V. And you need to deal with Summons' AI and babysit them where they can KO in one hit without Nightmare summoned. It can go even worse with 100 BP Urizen. Where he has so much health and DT, keep throwing projectiles and ranged attacks at you. And have almost no room for bursting outside of his phase changing. I feel my life ended when I died to him at around 5% of health left.
I think attacking her during her charge can stop her in place for a second. A fairly strong attack can work, which I think probably would able to help V.
Great guide as always! :) Questions: 1. Out of curiosity, why wouldn't you recommend the buster arm? Super Buster does a hell of a lot more damage than the devil trigger buster to enemies even to bosses. 2. After unlocking the devil sword dante, is there still a reason to use rebellion or the sparda? DSD seems to be the strongest and have more moves. Or is it just personal preference? 3. Since the other breaker you didn't mention other than the buster is the helter skelter, I'm curious on how do you think it will fair in this boss fight. I have use it on occasion but so far I had mixed results. It seems to deal decent damage especially if all three drill rig connects, but it is difficult to pull off since the boss frequently move around while it's break age only deals moderate damage. Still, I want to know what you think. :) Keep up the good work! :)
1. I do recommend buster arm, its just so obviously a good choice since its a good choice for evertything that its not worth mentioning, like faust hat. 2. Sparda and rebellion have old round trip, which DSD doesn't have. Sparda also does the same damage as DSD with its normal move set, but scythe moves like stinger, hightime, round trip do more damage than DSD's version of those moves. DSD does more damage using four swords attacks though. Rebellion is weaker than both swords, so the only reason to use it is preference. The swords count as different move uses from each other, so you can get more rank by using all 3 of them technically. 3. Helter skelter needs a long drill session to get any good damage like you said, but even then you could get the same damage more reliably with overture. The only thing to use helter skelter for would be its break age, which does okay damage and can invincible through attacks. Other break ages are just as good or better and don't have a finicky normal function holding them back, so helter skelter didn't make the cut.

I never bothered to use it as I always preferred Drive/Overdrive. 3. The way I see it Helter Skelter is almost a purely situational breaker as it's great against armor but mediocre for everything else. For instance, if you have Helter Skelter equipped against scudo angelos it would make the encounter a breeze more so than with Dante.
@@Spectre1301 Round Trip is kinda situational, but its nice for holding enemies for weapon switching or some sort of set up. An example from this would be like the last combo I did from my first fight in my M16 DMD video. I used Roundtrips from DSD to hold an enemy, then I hit him with full throttle which raises his elevation. Then I use rebellion's Round Trip before the old Roundtrips disappear. Then I hit him with fully charged kalina ann rocket while hes suspended in mid air by rebellion. Things like that.
17:32 On my first playthrough on M14 I picked... Nightmare, I think I was able to stay safe by jumping and hitting her with the cane, but that that was a few months back and my memory isn't that good and I'm commenting on a 3 year old video
I've noticed you usually keep Rebellion in your arsenal as well as DSD. Since almost all of Rebellion's moveset is a subset of DSD's, the only real use I've found for that is on-demand Prop/Shredder and a harder to misinput Helm Breaker. Is there anything else to it? And any mechanical difference between Rebellion amd Sparda?
Sparda is just rebellion with better damage for all its attacks. I also use it for OG round trip alot. Other than that using rebellion is only a handicap, which I enjoy using for the aesthetic. Having sparda or rebellion along with DSD gives you access to dante's entire kit, so theres that too I suppose.
Hi. Advice me please right loadout priority for Dante. I mean, which weapons will be better next-pick for each other. Or i should not care about it and all range and melee weapons combos fine? I focused on Nero and scared a bit to start Dante
It matters a little bit. Some weapons complement each other really well and picking them yourself helps with memorization. Which weapons do you use/like the most? I can come up with a few things based on that. And how many are you willing to use?
@@jackfalcon3923 I would suggest king cerberus after swords, the combo enders of the swords are all knockbacks or knockdowns. Cerberus has a move for all of these in sword master to put you back at close range like Rock Back, and Revolver. I would also recommend balrog after cavaliere. Braking And Full Throttle puts you in the perfect range for Real Impact. Heavy Jolt can be used to close distance after knockbacks like cavaliere combo A, or crossline.
I disagree on Artemis being the easiest boss, that dubious honor goes to Malphas. Even Goliath can get in a wild swing or two, Malphas is just pathetic. And just as a side note I do like the voice better than the subtitles. Easier to watch the action
@@calma7calma77 it's done the same way as the gerbera ray. Hold the button an release. Takes longer than gerbera to charge. It has a different version for the ground and air.
If you've unlocked Dante's second DT (Sin DT) then you should be able to buy the ability with red orbs. Press Square + Traingle (X + Y on Xbox) at the same time while in Sin DT form to use it.
Nice video as usual. I pretty much do the same already but with my Dante my go to strategy is balrog+trickster and when she falls down then King Cerberus Staff Attack in DT. The only time Artemis poses a problem is in V's mission 14 on DMD where you're forced to fight her with handicapped resources (I fight her after Cavaliere so I usually go in with Shadow and Griffon) Also can you tell me how did you put shadow on DT? Whats the input for PC?
My controls are moved around so I cant say either, but look in your V controls and there should be a button assigned to auto attack. Press this button and shadow at the same time to give shadow DT
funnily enough I actually died first time I fought Artemis because for some reason it would not lock on to either artemis or the drones properly and that cost me to get hit from behind a lot and couldn't even climb up during the nuke since it would either lock on to the same drone or the one below the last thing I wired on. did that happen to anyone else or was that just me. at least I still didn't get hit by the nuke
I get you, sometimes the lock on gets finicky. I believe if you lock on with no directional input, it will lock on to the near enemy, but if your pressing the stick, it will lock on to whatever is in the stick's direction. I don't think the game tells you this, so I was always locking on to stuff while trying to do directional inputs or just movement. Really wish there was a lock on option menu like in dmc4
The homing attack projectiles can be targetted, so maybe the game was targetting those that were off-screen. When she does her ultimate attack, you could just jump cancel off of her.
@@yinyangmemory I wasn't hit by the ultimate I kept getting shot in the back when I tried to grapple on to Artemis or her drones and would get the wrong target.
I thought it would be easier to do with voice instead of text, there was no special occasion. I was wrong though. Voice comes with its own problems lol
@@johncenas8942 trying to keep the audio balanced, which im pretty sure I failed here. I dont have a proper way of sitting so sometimes im talking into the mic closely and sometimes im talking while leaned back (dont realize in doing it) Then theres having to do extra takes for when I do something dumb like make a background noise, or someone else does, or I breathe in too loudly, unintentional asmr mouth noises, ect. Its a big effort to make it sound as clean as I can when I have a super amatuer set up, and no experience. So overall, Text is definitely easier for me.
I've legitimately never seen her nuke attack finish until now. Takes so long no one could possibly fail, clearly.
The fact that its also super easy to dodge makes me think it was designed to fail so we can feel like we got kool kid points.

When I first fought against her I literally sat still for like 10 secs and still hit her out of her nuke attack
This makes me sad cause i failed it once cause the lock on stopped working for me. I raged quiet after cause i felt disappointed in myself

I don't think the game tells you this, so I was always locking on to stuff while trying to do directional inputs or just movement. Really wish there was a lock on option menu like in dmc4
@@conqvistguides7313 Yeah that would be helpful. it's weird when games take out something from the previous game that shouldn't be too hard to put in.
The homing attack projectiles can be targetted, so maybe the game was targetting those that were off-screen.
When she does her ultimate attack, you could just jump cancel off of her.
@@yinyangmemory I wasn't hit by the ultimate I kept getting shot in the back when I tried to grapple on to Artemis or her drones and would get the wrong target.

@@johncenas8942 trying to keep the audio balanced, which im pretty sure I failed here. I dont have a proper way of sitting so sometimes im talking into the mic closely and sometimes im talking while leaned back (dont realize in doing it)
Then theres having to do extra takes for when I do something dumb like make a background noise, or someone else does, or I breathe in too loudly, unintentional asmr mouth noises, ect.
Its a big effort to make it sound as clean as I can when I have a super amatuer set up, and no experience. So overall, Text is definitely easier for me.
