Killing voice exists because of mamamoo. Before they had killing verse which was for rappers and solar was trying very hard to get on that show. They created killing voice and mamamoo were the first to perform and set the standard for all to follow :)
So Killing Voice actually exists becaus of Mamamoo. Solar kept bugging Dingo to let them come on the earlier version Killing Verse that was for soloists. That's probably why this one is shorter, since it was experimental. While Hwasa often uses rasp it's more pronounced here becaus she was fighting a cold. If Mr Ambiguous (their debut) was your favorite here you will also want to be sure to check out Piano Man their first comeback. Jazz continues to be part of what they do but after those first two it's in the b-sides. Their ultimate vocal flex is a concert clip (which is totally fine to react to) called the Immortal Songs Medley. Immortal songs is a competition show where the contestants cover songs by famous Korean artist. It's for an older crowd so idol groups were generally looked down on, but Mamamoo won their hearts with great vocals and performances. They appeared on the show 14 times, were the first female idol group to win, and the first idol group to win more than once (3 times). Unfortunately the actual performances on the show will be blocked. Before too long I would also recommend that you watch a guide. There are 3 guides to consider Purple Hawk's has the most information about each individual (made in 2020). Moo_YT's has more about the group as a whole and is more up to date (made in 2022). Why Mamamoo is the Most Underrated Group (ignore the title) is best for Mamamoo's impact on the Kpop industry. You can certainly watch more than one. One more thing, I'll second the recomendation of checking out Purple Kiss. They are Mamamoo's younger sister group and their vocals are also magnificent.

Mamamoo is at the top with the best of the best for vocal talent and performing live. I had the pleasure of seeing them live in los angeles last year and they really can sing this good and they are known in korea for their extreme vocal talents. They also write a lot of their own music, heavily into production of videos and concerts. They all have solo careers as well, saw Wheein a few months ago though solar is my favorite singer anywhere in the world. Dingo is a great intro to them. They do 25+ songs each year with albums, solo albums, OSTs, collabs and covers so there are over 400 videos you could react too from them. This is one of the rare group of singers who sound so good live it is hard to tell they are not recorded so I do suggest watching any live videos like Dingo. But their MVs are so well produced, these are also a must watch. Another great medley is Immortal Songs, which is a video they made of the songs they won the immortal songs show with. They were the first Kpop group to win and for many years had the most wins. This year they are a bit more focused on Solos, Solar's recent Colours album is the latest, with Blues being the best song(an actual blues song), But I is rock and Colors is just a must see for the performance video. Wheein and Moonbyul (moonbyul sings as well as the others) also released solo albums in the last few months. Hwasa has not done an album yet but I am sure it is coming. Another medley to watch is from the Hwasa TV show, episdoe 8 I believe. Mamamo live hits collection, they sing 2 full songs and a medley in the middle to a live band. This is only from a couple years ago so it is recent.

I think this was covered in the final of a show where rappers compete as singers) - Memories (singing, probably my favorite B-Side from her full album, rock vibes) You've covered all 3 of my favorite groups ((G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher and MAMAMOO) so I'll recommend 2 more groups for you to check: 1. Purple Kiss, with the songs: Ponzona, Nerdy, Sweet Juice 2. IVE, with the songs: I AM, Love Dive, After Like, HEYA.
Yes, as others must have told you, they are all rounder, means moonbyul can sing ! she's doing more singing in her solo works and FYI, Her dream is to be a vocalist, but was asked to be a rapper so she can debut despite of spending years trained as vocalist, Moonbyul always been longing to sing, Moonbyul is the winner of a competition show in JTBC's "Second World", a competition show where 8 rappers can showcase their vocals/creativity. She got full score in 1st , 2nd and last round.

Their introduction is suffice example of what you're getting into 😂 KV exists cause of SOLAR obsession with raps (she's loves rapping but became a vocalist , moonbyul loves singing and became a rapper 😂) and since they were the first idol group to KV only snippets were there and cause of it the trend came to existence that if your group is ablw to make it to KV, they have good vocals. Additionally,Hwasa was sick that day that it's more nasally there but when you'll hear more of her you'll love that chest voice. And another thing THEY ALL ESPECIALLY SOLAR N MOONBYUL have improved A LOT MORE irt to vocals as Solar has added Vibrato and other skills through Musicals and Moonbyul has become a full Vocalist. I would really recommend watching all of their solo album songs, especially my bias SOLAR ❤ you'll be so surprised with her range.

Speciffically "The Killing Voice" exists because of Solar. SOLAR(w/Mamamoo) wanted to join 'Killing verse' but WASN'T accepted. So Dingo Music created 'Killing Voice' and Called MAMAMOO. Their video currently has the most Killing Voice views... we need a second one. LOL
if you love jazz, funk, you should react piano man or hello ( mamamoo introduction song ) their pra debut. for motown genre maybe you should react ahh oop, your the best. and if you want some harmonies, vocal flex, but still playful you should check mamamoo woohoo. Mamamoo are amazing!! As a group, or as soloists, thay always impress. Please check out the male version of Mamamoo, Exo, their vocals are also top notch. Wish these 2 groups had been promoted more in the west. Their companies were swriously, and are seriously, dumb for not doing that.
