I also using this tricks but when you have 100 doors you also get 100 lag just to open 1 chest 😂
If you turn the bgm and sfx the lag should reduced

I laughed so hard at 4:18 doom is explaining how to build a good base and his AI suddenly said “I’m thirsty” two seconds later “I’m hungry”

I just made a 15x15 base of solid steel, left a trick door open so if a raider walks in they face four fully upgraded turrets and when the metal cutter comes out the raider will need a few

Basically just use the great wall technique from JCF this concept is made for high end gamers (those who use a beast os) it will give you a bunch of lag and a lot of bumping and you need to go door to door just for items I recommend making each of those 4x4 plus, the raiders will only break one wall then if u have lvl 3 walls they're just gonna leave

I just focus on collecting materials to upgrade my walls. I intended to use honeycomb first, but it's really an eyesore to build your base using that style, not to mention the lags you get because of so many doors/walls. You can secure your staffs and keep your base looks good at the same time without using this style. All you need is your imagination and deep thought in placing your staffs.

same same same X 19k
I honeycombed 3 walls thick on the outer to reach any production room then my loot separated in 6 rooms in the middle then within those 6 rooms there's another box within a box for my uber loot. Good protection low lag 5 walls to c4 leaves only a lil wiggle room plus I corralled those walkers appearing in my base invited them in behind a lvl 1 wall and put a noise trap in there 😜
This base is just damn hardcore. The raiders will just leave
Raiders are AI so real players cannot raid real players
The ppl ur raiding is also AI, nothing in a raid contains real players

One question how many infected boxs can you have? I have one but I'm using it for a trap I build a 5x5 room that leads around my base full of zombies but I'm trying to build a few more rooms with the same concept...is that possible??

I have a 4x3 metal vault and 3x3 metal floors inside my base planned for Helicopter in the future. Then I got cheeky and made 2 x 5 metal room next to broken truck. I'm probably going to regret this when metal cutter comes out and AI raids cut 1 wall per raid. Granted steel is easy now from recycling coppers but it's gonna hurt, lol

I have to agree. I've got full stone and im 4 skulls, 110 rep. Raiders break 1 wall, a row of lvl 1 doors behind 1st layer of stone. 5-10 lvl 1 doors break and thats it. Ive got 4 layers of stone, they only break through first 1. Rest of my base is rooms. Honeycomb is overkill and looks dumb. No imagination.

Show us the easiest ways to get items to upgrade our walls, for instance:where we could get them and how easy or hard it will be to get them
U make them not find them
Well u can find them sometimes but making them is ez im lvl 25 and all my walls are lvl 2
This is good of you plan on raiding daily but If your like me spend a lot time in sector 7 or just out in the wilderness this is pointless my base never gets raided and I have raided people I just don’t have a high threat level and my my bait box has never been touched

Dude i got raided on 1 skull and i lost 70 sprins , 80 glue and 60 aluminium wires :( but i got alot of guns and 100 batteries from the revenge raid
I play on phone so I'll probably just make a 2x2 or 3x3 metal room for my best stuff and expand around it.
2 years ago uninstalled game and watching this vid 1 year later installs game back remembers the 100 doors does it

This is simply absurd... They really should put a limit on structures you can make. Spam the entire map with walls and doors and call it a survival base.
Because that's how the AI raids currently work
I am sure they will fix this when they make update to raid online bases. if u raid such base u will not be able to get 1 chest before the noise reach 100

Getting oak for 3rd walls is difficult cuz I don't have access to oak forest and not have unlocked watchtower any tips for getting alot of oaks?
Oak event and raids. Built 2 big circle layers around my base like that and like he says a layer of lvl 1 walls around that and you never need to worry as long as you have the bait box

question for u guys, when do u start getting raided an interacting with other live players ? For example I still have not Completed my watch tower to explore beyond, Figuring when I decide to complete it, my base will then be visible to other players? Is that what opens you to live play or do u have to go raid bases with the raiders?I would like to build my base up b4 getting raided. I need steel bad It's almost impossible to find without expanding my map but I refuse to explore any further than the original map until I know how it works. can somone fill me in? thanks!
To have friends and everyting you need the radio tower , lvl 3 if you wanna clan .
Revealing beyond in the north will give you oak forests ( yellow and red ) that are verry verry usefull for stone walls , reveals winter maps ( yellow and red ) , i've been 2-3 times there wich gives you copper but you need to or needed to warn warm clothes and be sure you don't remain naked for long , also reveals another AI base
In the east tower it reveals another AI base and don't know if you have the police station or not ( I reveald the east part before the police station got into the game )
Raids dont start until lvl 150 so go ahead and unlock those watch towers. Theres nothing to worry about
Raiders:breaks chest,gets trash and say:”at least I got somethin”
Also another tip. Build only windows outside the base so they can’t use TBO wall trick

My Red Line Walls Level is 4 xD (i can't use Spikes because it's useless (know) but in future devs will add lvl 5 wall (Tungsten Walls |maybe|) and metal cutter

I sort of hope Kefir adds a similar system to rust's upkeep that makes honeycombing extremely difficult. I hate raiding honeycombed bases.

Hi i am a new player in 2022, can somebody help me? Why my walls and floor is limited? I can't build my base because i can add any floor or walls
I hate the way they did the walls and noise. Now we need stupid lag creating bases who look like complete crap. In my opinion, they should make so that u have (let's say) maximum of 30 lvl3 walls and like 10 metal as well as limited amount of lvl1 and lvl2 walls so that u have to prioritize and strategize. They should make mines available, tripwire traps, turrets should be harder to craft but more deadly with a bigger range and not consume fuel. Then we could actually build nice bases with tons of variety and it would make raiding much more fun to do. In my opinion, they should make it so you actually need to spend at least entire armor set and 2-3 guns as well as a stack of medical stuff and 10-15 hatchets. It should be a really good challenge with a risk of maybe getting good, maybe bad loot. Right now it only makes my base lag a ton, have an ugly layout and raids are just ass becouse how boring they are
Well but then it would not be realistic. I know it's not realistic like this either, but if I l got steel I am gonna upgrade my walls till they are unbreakable.
