How is it not obvious to everyone that auburn is this year's UCONN? The number 4 seed whose underlying metrics far exceed the win loss record and is peaking at the right time winning 6 straight, 5 of which were by 14 or more to win the SEC title.

Auburn cannot beat good teams, so if they get lucky and don’t play illinois iowa state or uconn they could make it to the final four, but that is not likely. U need to beat good teams to be able to win

I have the coveted mcneese samford round of 32 match, with a mcneese elite 8. Purdue chokes to a 12 seed? Sounds about right
The key to Kentucky is Justin Edwards - He's capable of going off on any team - If he is locked in watch out
Bradshaw had 12 points againt UNC, 10 points 7 boards against Florida, 11 points against miss state 17 points 11 boards against Penn 10 points 6 boards vs Missouri. Then he fouls and disappeared.. he never shoots the ball anymore. Also edwards is capable of doing nothing for 4 games in a row too.
If Auburn can stay consistent on "D" n not let some of the better teams get to draining 3's , i thnk we'll have a good chance. Just limit the silly turnovers, n plz practice some freethrows
I've got Kentucky coming out of the South. And for my "wild" bracket I have Gonzaga winning it all LOL. That was funny you guys mentioned that at 12:00. They are very under the radar. The backcourt of Nembhard and Hickman along with Ike and Gregg on the blocks is more formidable than some realize. Go Zags! Although logically I think UNC or Connecticut will win this Tourney.

Texas was one of the hottest teams when they lost to ACU
I’m very wary of teams that are defense based and struggle to score consistently. It’s easy to get upset when another team can out score you if they get hot at the start right time
i don't know about 5/12 matchups, but I can almost guarantee at least two 11 seeds will past the first round. those are scary 11 seeds

If there’s one thing I learned from this video, it’s to take the Cougs over Drake..
The "pros" were picking JMU for a reason... Wisconsin was manhandled and didn't just lose... were overwhelmed and lost start to finish..
Funny how everyone under estimated the big 12 where they have great teams in the March Madness tournament they did not start their starters in the divisional tournament so they can be healthy in March Madness so watch out for Kansas for they beat UConn and many great teams !

We seen teams(think baylor and ucla recently) make runs with top iniured players. And kansas has a pretty easy path. I never pick them far, but its open for them.
@@jaseallenson316 Baylor’s case it was a key rotational player not their 2 top players. I agree with your point tho there are others capable of stepping up but that just hasn’t been the case with Kansas at any point this year. The bench is inept in this system and their transfers have performed below standard. Any other case I would agree with you tho just not Kansas
@@ethanle9785 im not big on kansas and never am. In the 30yrs ive done brackets i prolly never taken them to final 4. So if anything, im biased the other way. Just saying purdue, tenn amd zags havent been great in tourney. Just saying they have a fairly nice path. And same with the other teams in that region. Not a real strong team there.
@@jaseallenson316 I agree. Rick Barnes and Matt Painter usually flame out so I have Zags Creighton E8 and Creighton to the F4. (Nice little Nembhard reunion storyline there if ur interested haha). Hated picking between Oregon and Creighton tho love that matchup

Whenever I hear someone say about Alabama "What are they going to do when the 3's don't fall?", it's obvious to me that they don't know ball. Mark Sears is great at going down the lane and getting into the paint. Cone is right when he says they miss Bediako, and I'm hoping Grant Nelson and Nick Pringle can perform when they are needed.
they have quite alot of losses because of off nights shooting, I dont think they are out early but they cant shoot lights out without defense for 4-6 games
The defense is a factor. Alabama has had more than five games where teams scored 100 plus. So if they cannot play defense they are going to have to outscore everyone they play.
@@haydennewman Yeah I mean I didn’t deny that defense was a problem, just saying that Alabama can score in more ways than one. The whole “live by the 3, die by the 3” thing with Alabama is so cheap, and that’s more so what I was calling out. Obviously, Alabama does better when the 3’s fall, but they can find other ways to win games. But yeah I definitely agree that defense is a major problem 🥵

Iowa State has been disrespected all year long this is nothing new. I do not like the Drake matchup and really think the committee was downright cruel to ISU and in some regards to UConn as this is the toughest bracket by far. ISU will use this as motivation. Interesting they love Houston so much but fail to recognize who gave them half of their losses. If ISU's offense continues to click they are a Final 4 contender but the 2nd round is the toughest part of that puzzle till the Elite 8
