Yeah, I loved that he asked "what's the line?" because that does significantly matter. I mean for me personally, I'm pretty much never doing anything so pressed for time that having another person in front of me is going to be a major difference. Like if I'm IN LINE for something and 60 seconds is the difference in life and death or something like that, then I've REALLY mismanaged my time that day. I'm probably just listening to a podcast or audiobook while waiting in line, and if someone else wants to go ahead, I don't care. Hell I might actually offer if its' like the grocery store and they've got a handful of items and i've got a full cart. Like, I don't care? It's not that urgent. Definitely not worth making a fucking scene about it and causing stress and drama in my day. I'm just fairly chill as much as possible, makes life far more manageable if you don't let yourself get stressed by things, especially fairly minor things.
