Ah! The infamous Eau Noire. I really like Eau Noire because it's so an unusual, charming, and out-of-the-box kind of scent. I'm somewhat disappointed I didn't order a bottle back-in-the-day, but I do have a 30ml decant. It's a nice fougere with hints of coffee backed in that smooth-as-silk Dior La Collection fragrance DNA...but I just won't wear it often because 1) I have a 8 500ml bottle from their former La Collection lineupe (e.g., Leather Oud, Vetiver, Ambre Nuit, Bois d'Argent, etc.) and 2) for some reason this fragrance often reminded me of wearing syrup for some reason. Go figure! As for Egoiste I'm wearing it right now...perfect Fall sandalwood fragrance. Nice lineup!

You're right 24 gone in a blink, rather tasty rotation to reflect the time of the year, weather may be iffy but the scents are anything but. Are you doing a 24 recap, highs and lows? I fell out of love with quite a few in my collection this year or maybe it was knowing what they sell for these days. There's some sellers out there that are asking ridiculous prices, saw another sourcing from Japan that is charging the earth. Anyway keep them coming and carry on enjoying. Sotd: Byredo- Kirsten 96, Inez & Vinoodh. Horrible top note but divine drydown that is actually worth waiting for.
@@LEgoiste I think I might go back over my favourite pickups and some of the stuff I have sold off. Sold some really big hitters this year but I don't miss any. There's a seller on eBay selling vintage gems from Japan who should be slapped for his prices
@RichMitch Same here, It's the first time I can safely say my new purchases outweigh what I've offloaded, no regrets at all. I know I've brought this up before... how about a "And the rest is shite" podcast in the new year. Only talk about the fragrances you love, I feel it's time as that other fragrance podcast has run out of steam for quite a while now, it's just the same old each episode. I've tuned out as others I know have too. Or even your weekly rotation as a podcast as a sideline. P.S. Thanks for reminding me to wear Antaeus, just goes to prove what a whack year it's been. Somehow it made it's way to the very back of my collection! Cheers.

Oh they differ, a lot. The current one is not bad, actually better than most anything released these days, but sniffing it without knowing what it was, I’m not sure I would’ve been able to correctly identify it.
@RichMitch we'll let it pass this time haha, newer version is on a good level of reformulation, no where near what it was but with restrictions its still good 👍, but you have standards to set vitnage only 😂😂😂
