@RichardGarcia93 and yet I see him in Music Man commercials. He seems like a guy who is oriented on music for as many enthusiats as possible rather than promoting only his brand, which is extremely cool.
Unpopular opinion maybe: From cheap nylon string begginer guitars to multiple thousand mastercrafts, I've always thought piezo sounded very pokey and quite bad for an acoustic sound, whether it's on a nylon string or a steel string. This is nothing against Aristides, in fact, i think this is abut the best it can sound when you use it in a context that would be quite modern and potentially lead to heavier riffs following it. Other than that, I think acoustic sounds will always sound better mic'd up. THAT BEING SAID: I'm still glad this piece of art exists. Sometimes, it is good to make something just because you can.
As an audio engineer I completely agree. On piezo I will usually use a very fast compressor (FF) and slow release to get rid of the pokey transients. I will also low pass the signal a bit. Mic'd up still beats this by a lot, but honestly, piezo sounds manageable like that.
It's no Hauser, but I gather it's not meant to compete with a hi-end handmade classical guitar. I've never recorded an acoustic or nylon string with anything other than microphones because I just can't live with the sound of a piezo. This is for use in a live rock band type of scenario, yeah?
I'm in love. I'd probably tune it EAEADGBE, for some psuedo bass vi goodness.
I give my support for Aristides
it does sound nice 😂
Who's this for? Reyes or Abasi? 😂 😂
Would have been demoed far better by any of these two, to be honest.
Tosin’s company already makes a Nylon 8 string

@@vincentvanzwietenOFFICIAL i'll definetly try that someday, that's smart!
@@vincentvanzwietenOFFICIAL Can confirm. Dialing in a low pass really does make a world of difference for piezo and amp sims
Aristides are all wizards I swear!
VERY COOL!!!
String gauges and tuning
F# standard.

sound like an acoustic guy turn into noir detective at night 🐸
Are the pickups under the body?
has piezo saddles on bridge
Interesting. I wouldn't want the extra strings but a nylon more player friendly would be lovely.
Sounds like one of the best solutions for metal allergies.
👏👏👏
Nice
we might be witnessing a hell yeah moment
It buzzes all over the place so the action needs to be raised. Sounds awful!

Fret buzz. Lots of fret buzz.
Bass as a hell...
why are you demoing nylon strings with a pick? facepalm/cringe city
Those lowest, two strings sound like crap. Buzzy and flabby sounding.
