- Biochar is one of those elements that I recommend for just about every gardening and landscaping project that I consult on. It does so many amazing things, and actually helps the environment, too! Give me four minutes, and I'll tell you all about this amazing soil additive!

I'm Daryl. I really hate mowing the lawn.
That’s how all of this began: a search for landscaping alternatives that don't require sacrificing every Saturday morning to the mower.
As a certified permaculture designer, I help transform boring, basic lawns into beautiful yards that take care of us the way we take care of them.

I'm so excited to see how this turns out 👏
Great information, thank you!
Interesting. I’m curious to see the next step, so I subscribed.
Gonna buy a compost tumbler this fall. Can't wait. share it with family and friends. Gonna try the biochar thanks.
Love that shirt!
I believe its from CrimePaysbutBotanyDoesnt here on YT, when he was going a TV show. He's a good plant guy. A bit crass but his passion knows no bounds.
very nice video simple to the point but also very informative, i switched to a no till garden this year have a bradford pear that feel last winter im turning into bio char using the pit method.
I have the same shirt!
When I saw that load of biochar my jaw dropped to the floor. What did it cost? 🤯🤯Where is John local to? LOL
Took me several minutes of searching her website to find she operates out of the Salt Lake area. Even her UA-cam doesn’t indicate where she’s located. So weird.
@@hc3021 A bit far from my area but thank you! I hope someone can get in on that biochar. It's quite the sight.
Constructing a lawn while wearing the Crime Pays but Botany Doesn’t t-shirt “Kill Your Lawn”.
Does the char affect pH?
When did she say she was constructing a lawn?
@@Code325She says she has the product dumped on her lawn/sidewalk, then at 0:29 she says how it makes a good lawn.
We shot this video at the end of the "ripping out the lawn for a native prairie" project, (not finished yet!) and realized that the Biochar segment we filmed at the end was really informative and decided to release it first... so the lawn is actually coming out, and a native prairie is going in, we'll have that project up soon! Thanks for watching! -YardFarmer Leigh
@@LeighYardFarmer Good plan!
I’m a landscape gardener in Canberra, specialising in local native plants. I don’t have a lawn and love it!
@@samday6621 Oh my goodness! Canberra looks AMAZING! I bet you're very excited for your Springtime weather!
awesome i love biochar, i didnt know about the market interest in it for negative emission factor which is great news
there's probably great opportunities there for me then, to get some funding/investment to get my own land to farm or start a home gardening business; gardening is my dream job and id be over the moon if i could land the resources to pursue it entrepreneurially
i was actually wanting to approach tesla yesterday to see if i could get free cybertruck access just by some miracle🤣, now i actually have direct value i can offer them in return😳
