Hi Kathy, yes the pool trucks are the most convenient. I use the hose to fill up a couple inches when necessary but the trucks for large fill ups are great. Thanks for watching ❤️

My son inlaw builds pools and has an excavation company her in Orlando , since Covid the rebar has tripled in cost and the ties to tie the rebar together , it’s crazy he builds pools from 35,000 to 6 million dollars , yes I can’t even fathom that , but it’s crazy here in Fl

Great video! Wow, wow, there is a lot to think about. I live in California and just about every other house has a pool in the backyard. We do not only because my husband grew up with one and he said once they became teenagers they really never used it. I found that interesting. You chose a pool and jacuzzi that go beautifully with your house! Does your pool have fountains that go across the pool? My girlfriend has those and they are beautiful to see.

Hi Erin, yes building a pool these days is a huge investment and a lot to think about before jumping in. I've seen that teenagers are interested in using the pool with their friends, less so with family 😂 I tried to build our pool and pool house to have the appearance that it has always been there, and it turned out pretty well! No fountains in ours, I hear they often have issues. Thanks for commenting!

We got our pool last year. It took 2 yrs for the whole process. We started out $40,000. When completed it caused $80,000.

That can easily happen, so many unknown costs. It’s important to do tons of research beforehand to minimize those as much as possible. But I bet your pool is beautiful!

Good question Marie! I think our pool would say how happy it is that the process is done! We built the pool house in conjunction and the pool sat there for a while feeling neglected! We are all so happy the process is done, huge job! So glad you enjoyed the video :)
