As sad as I am to see Acoustic Tuesdays end, I am incredibly excited for you Tony, to what is coming in the next chapter! I picked up guitar for the first time, a little more than two years ago, and because of you, and support from the other TAC family members, I have never stopped moving forward. You have helped me through the blisters, and struggles with learning each week. But when I look back, as you often tell us to do, I see the progress I have made. When times have been difficult, I have been able to grab my guitar and just escape; what a feeling that is!! You have made a difference Tony, and you will continue to do so…. That’s who you are!! Thank You for all you do to help all of us Guitar Geeks; You Rock!!
Your show is the reason that I started guitar lessons in my mid fifties. It’s always been a dream of mine to play guitar but I thought it was too late but your show inspired me to try and I’m so grateful because I really love it and at has opened up a whole creative side that I didn’t know I possessed. Thank you for showing people like me that it’s never too late to learn and good luck with your future projects.
Life happens when you're making other plans, in this case YOUNG family. You have been reaching out to more than you know: for example, Acoustic News You Can Use has helped me find a couple great guitars; these have been used/played to help bring back speech to a couple folks through singing old hymns and folk songs; help a 90+ year old piano player enjoy music again; and other things too numerous to list here. I've had challenges with my wounded fretting hand. You didn't do it directly, but with what I learned from Acoustic Tuesday, Tony's Acoustic Challenge and the Fretboard Wizard. I admit I 've nt used the 90-day gosl setting program like you suggest, just modified. Thanks, good luck, and God bless.
Over the past 6 years or more TAC has made a massive difference to my playing and I feel my improved skill level is very much down to the quality of your teaching. I wish you the very best with all your plans moving forward and totally get the importance of putting family first. Respect to you Tony
Tony, you are the man. I am a life member of your philosophy and TAC community, and look forward to TAC and your incredible process of guitar and life lessons. Bless you and your family. Howard M.
Family comes first, my friend. I've been with you, along for the ride. We lost contact, and life gets in the way in the most positive of ways. I remember our emails back and forth. It's been a few years. If you remember, my name is Colin from Illinois. I still play guitar and enjoy music still to this day.
Real growth almost always involves difficult choices...real sacrifice. Making those choices out of love for your family is reflective of personal integrity. I admire and respect your decision. Life is always about change - embracing that change demonstrates strength. I look forward to seeing what you bring to our (guitar) world in the next part of your journey. Thanks for the past six years.
Tony this is why I follow you is that its straight from the heart. The way you talk about taking care of your family should stand of your proof how you feel about family and the family of guitar geeks that your has put together. All about family. There is no bravery without fear and you are brave to take this move. It seems with your thinking its only upward and onward. You got the idea and treat music as art that brings so many aspects of the human psyche together as major resource for the individual. I use to give guitars to children to help with their emotional journey. I look forward to following your continuing journey as I move to advance my guitar journey as part of my life. Thanks!
Tony, you've not let us down. Keep on inspiring folks on the guitar and in life. We're all along for the ride. Congrats on finishing a chapter and on to bigger and better things with your family and in the world of guitar! THANK YOU!
Best of luck to you. I'm retired and I understand the change in how you and others view yourself. Family are first. Respect for that. You're doing the right thing, karma will look after you.
Hi Tony, Thank you so very much. I mentioned a week a go I had heart transplant surgery never imagining it would be so dificiciltlt. I had to relearn howto write, type, play the guitar again. The doctors were with my overall improvement. I told them I played the harmonica, played guitar and kept music in my head as much as I was allowed. So when I watched the piano laughing out, it made me cry and laugh all at once. You are a good strong passionate man Tony. If there is anything I can do to be helpful please keep on your list.
Hey Toni, thank you. Your show lifted my spirits at the beginning of the week, and i don't say that lightly either. Don't forget the expansive resource you have created with AT for everyone who loves acoustic instruments. Good luck and I'm pretty certain every subscriber is here for the next chapter! 🖖
I am fairly new to TAC. I respect you Tony for your family values and am grateful for all you are doing for me on my 30 year plus guitar journey. In the past 2+ months you have improved my skills immensely. Thank you and God Bless you, your loved ones and the entire TAC family.
Tony, thank you for all of you have given me!! We have spoken on TAC quarterly meetings, you have acknowledged my service in the military, law enforcement, and guitars for vets and even on acoustic Tuesday you have spotlighted me! But you are the first true guitarist that taught me this lovely instrument! I have said it many times you literally saved my life! I have dealt with war the evils of society and the disappointments of what I gave 33 years of selfless service for to only realize too late how corrupt society is! I considered how to end my existence but the music kept me living and it still does today! It was December 16, 2019 my wife’s birthday I sat and watched your TAC video and joined then became a life member! God bless you and though I haven’t turned on TAC as much as I once have, I feel that you are truly my family and thank you! Denni M
I can't express how incredibly helpful your 30 Day CHALLENGE Program & ALL of the Skill Courses and additional Lessons. BUT what blew my Mind was your STRETCHING FOR GUITAR Lessons. Wow. THANK YOU! & for all of these incredible Tuesdays! YOU ARE A LEGEND.
Only just recently found this channel. From someone who stopped doing "a thing" that was who they are, and moved on, I will tell you, you never stop being or identifiying as "that thing". Life changes, and we are always evolving.....From a former Horse Trainer/Instructor who is now chasing a very different career.
Thank you Tony for everything you've done to help me on my guitar journey! You have provided countless hours of instruction and inspiration that will continue to fuel me for as long as I can pick up a guitar. I am so grateful that I found you and the TAC family. Thank you thank you thank you!
Hey Tony, thank you so much for your time, inspiration and insight. All the best to you and your family and all of your new endeavors. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Tony I am looking forward to your - our future! I’ve been following you since the guitar reviews at acoustic letter. I’ve been a TAC member since the beginning. Joined The Windy City Half n’ Whole Notes AND Ladies of the Jam Club. Your program gave me the confidence and both clubs are friends for life. I do appreciate your wholistic view of guitar learning/playing. Follow your heart. That’s the right place to be 👏🏼💖
I’ve followed you for many years, well before you began the Acoustic Tuesday show. You have always had a great screen presence, based on being “real” with your audience. Best wishes and namaste.
Hey Tony. I am 36 yrs old and have been a professional drummer for 25 years. I just started playing guitar in March of this year. Your videos have made a huge impact on my playing and love of guitar. You've taught me it doesn't have to be scary or intimidating. I'm just now catching up to your goodbye. I'm very sad about that but very lucky to have found your channel! Thanks Tony!
I am disappointed that the show is ending it is what inspired me to pick up the guitar back up after my hand injury and not playing for years and joining Tony's Acoustic Challenge. I'm also looking forward to the next chapter with this channel and with T.A.C. Thanks Tony for everything and it sounds like the future is going to be inspiring and very bright.
. I've seen 2 or 3 dozen of your guitar reviews and this show over the past 2 years - along with hundreds of other guitar videos. Your passion for the subject always evident. I hope meet your goals of helping people out of their musical cages.
You’re a legend Tony. Tough decision but always a good thing to focus your effort. Family first, always. The show will remain an encyclopedia of wisdom and I’ll definitely follow things yet to come.
Sharing... being open, promotes trust. That's what you have done. I trust you will be successful in whatever lies ahead. Thank you for everything you've done. Best of luck!
I am so proud of you Tony. You are the teacher, mentor and friend I return to. You are the reason I believe I can play. I can't wait to continue to walk this journey with you. My love to you, Whit and all the boys. Thank you.
Tony, I'll definitely miss Acoustic Tuesday, but I completely understand your decision. Everyone needs to have a life outside of the job, hobbies or obsessions, and family does come first. I look forward to the new UA-cam videos AND the changes to TAC. To be honest, I've been on a slight hiatus in my guitar practice and I'm ready to step up again. So the 'new' TAC and your recommitment to teaching may be timed perfectly for me. (I will miss the guitar info, reviews & rarities!) I also want to use this time to thank YOU for being, by far, the sincerest & most inspiring instructor out there. You make me hope that I'll meet you some time. That's my best compliment.
I think it’s the right move. As an artist, one has to always be in a state of constant change. Personal growth is a big part of that. I thank you for your time and knowledge your channel has brought me. Cheers brother and all the best for your journey.
Tony, I've been following you since I broke my leg in 2019 and couldn't play because of the way I had to lay religiously. Thanks for all the help. I'm going back to the beginning and watching the whole series. The knowledge in your show once lost, is gone forever. Go Ducks! Please announce the next step on this channel.❤
Thank you for all that you've done and continue to do as a guitar teacher and guru, Tony. I was a member of TAC for two years and have watched the Acoustic Tuesday show since its first year. You have and I'm sure will continue to inspire and motivate thousands of people to not only persevere and become better guitarists but to spread the joy of guitar and music in general. Looking forward the next steps in your journey. Cheers to you, mate.
Thank you for everything you've done with the Acoustic Tuesday Show. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. I'm looking forward to the next chapter and everything that it brings . I wish you every success and happiness, from one guitar geek to another , thank you.
Thank you, Tony. Though, per se,I am not a card carrying member of TAC, I have enjoyed and learned from the Acoustic Tuesday since day 1.This has been a journey with you and with all of your followers. I still will follow where you lead and learn along the way. I appreciate what you have/are doing. and applaud you moving on. Because it's the right thing to do. Bless you, kind Sir...
thanks so much tony! you’re a treasure in the guitar world, you changed my life forever and helped me overcome the negativity that apparently many of us have. i have no doubt you will excel in your new endeavors and will continue to help form new confident guitar players, love the growth mindset you are demonstrating! living outside your comfort zone to continue to grow! can’t wait to reflect back in a year and more!!!!
I only found your channel recently and want you to know have taught an an old (71) dog new tricks. Not only tricks, mind you, but solid, interesting, and valuable information. Fear is understandable when exiting one's comfort zone. Tony, your enthusiasm is palpable and I wish you the best on your future projects.
I just came back to the course to start again and saw that the podcast ended! Bummed that the show is over but very excited for Tony. I’m looking forward to his next projects. Having just become a dad, I wish him the best with his growing family!
Enjoy your wonderful children , the time with them goes by so fast !!! The reason I decided to give the guitar a whirl is because my 2 sons always played guitar . Now that they’re grown and moved out of the house I realized how much i miss hearing them play …. So I figured I’d give a try . Now almost 2 years in started with the tac family i can play a couple of things . I have a long way to go and yet have come along way . I love the connection i have with my boys through guitar . It’s just fun and sometimes exciting when i get the hang of something ,i love it !! Can’t thank you enough you’ve helped more than you know !!
The pleasure has been all mine. I am excited for you and your family as your journey continues. God Bless. Looking forward to seeing what you do. LOVE your positive vibes!
Loved the show Tony. Being dad rocks. As a Canuck guitar fiddler, loved the Jerseys, the insight on playing, the guitar reviews, all of it! Best to you, Tony, and your wife and boys. And big hugs from the Hammer!!
Hey Tony, I’m a TAC life member here and your daily challenges are really fantastic. I used to poke in briefly time to time and it just seemed a bit redundant. These new daily’s changed that and I’m logging in each and every day now 🤙 Thanks and please keep doing what you’re doing now man! My best, Tommy~
Wow! I'm so glad I came across this video. I just turned 60 and just bought my first guitar, a Martin 000-15SM. I've been researching where and how to learn to play it. I ran across TAC and was very impressed. Then I found Acoustic Tuesday and have watched a bunch of those. I'm so glad to hear that you are able to continue TAC and that you will be putting even more energy into that avenue. As a result, I will be joining TAC this week and I am so excited to share in the joy of learning to play the guitar. Thanks so much for all the effort and commitment you have put into making it possible. Best of luck with your young family and spend as much time with them as possible... definitely one of the best rewards in life!
Tony, you've already made a world of difference in my life and I'm sure many others. Love the way you are thinking and processing all of this - as I mentioned last week I'm in a similar space with some things in my life and this shared experience is helping me process. Feels like you're on the right track to me on all fronts. I can't wait to see what you do next because I know you'll crush it. Thanks for everything, my guitar brother. Peace and Love to you, your family, and the TAC family.
Thank you Tony and crew, wonderful run with the show but unfortunately all good things..... I'm Excited to see what you have next. You taught me how to play guitar, started the summer of 2019 and now I play 2-3 hours per day (acoustic & electric). But if not for your excellent teaching method I would never have gotten so far. Loved Acoustic Tuesday & looking forward to the future!! Thanks ♪♫
Dont ever give up Hockey. Its the healthy outlet you deserve to have. It will always be there if you cant do it right now for a bit. I retired and got back into it and now teach new adults wanting to learn. Love your Hawks Jersey and the patches. Also loved Tuesdays...Skate On, Play On...
I guess I will have to practice more on Tuesdays now. Thanks Tony for your wealth of knowledge on the Acoustic Tuesday Broadcast. When it comes to family or others it is always wise to choose FAMILY! We will miss you on Tuesdays Tony but always remember you have a family of guitar players out here that respect you and love you and your family.
Dear Tony-- I just want to thank you for your dedication, inspiration, and sharing of your guitar joy! I've been a member of TAC for a LOOONG time now (2015). I've had the pleasure of experiencing the growth and development of your teaching methods and models, and your business. It's been a road with turns, and curves and a few bumps, but I'm impressed with and amazed at your (and Levi's) success so far! Wow! If I were your dad, I would be gleaming with pride. As just your friend, I'm gleaming with pride! I'm happy for you (and your fam). I look forward to what's next! 👍🎶 Brian S
I have watched so many people trying to find a teacher that they can relate too. Bad teachers end the joy of playing guitar and Banjo playing. I hope you are very successful in your future endeavors.. good luck.
Tony thank you for all the shows. You have inspired me with so many different artist that I never heard of . You inspired me to try new things on guitar.
Tuesdays will be different for us but life is too long not to try new things. I look forward to whatever it is you are doing next! Thank you for the last couple of years.🎉
Tony, I remember AT as far back as your guitar comparison videos & association with Music Villa, even before the first of your signature beard whiskers appeared. AT was a favorite guitar stop for so many years, week after week. Thank you. No risk, no gain. You have your priorities set, the only thing left is to do is to walk through your plan. Blessings to you!
I was introduced to TAC thru the Acoustic Tuesday show. I started watching the show before I knew that TAC existed. This was back in June of 2021. I became a member at the end of that month and have enjoyed it and progressed in my guitar journey. I'm looking forward to the next chapter and will support your efforts to teach. Thank you.
You’ve had a success in my home. Although my guitar playing journey is slow and on going, it has inspired two of my three children to play. While one has set the guitar down for now, his love and awe for music has been permanently upgraded from his experience. Thank you for bringing more music to my life. PS. I was born in MT and lived my formative years in Anaconda, Kalispell and Missoula.
If it wasn't for you Tony I would have given up on trying to play the guitar. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and you helped me get through the last 3 years because I had cancer and I'm hopefully on mend. I don't think you realise how much you help people in their lives and not just guitar. So again thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Thank you ❤. Ohh but hey here's to the next video 🤘
You need to realize, and you do, that your family is priority. I don’t knowhow you did all this with a family. The Tony Acoustic Challenge should be your business priority, making it better, as good as it already is. The Acoustic Tuesday was enjoyable, great guitar news source, but us that time towards your family and improving TAC and Tony’s Acoustic Challenge. It’s helped me tremendously. My playing has gone to new levels as a band leader and guitar player
Tony, I can't wait to see what's next! Getting out of a comfort zone is terrifying (I feel your pain), but it can lead to some truly amazing results. Good luck on your new endeavor! Wishing you and your family health and happiness.
Tony, been with you since the very beginning, you helped me pick my first banjo, made me laugh during all those "Live hangouts," and kept me inspired in this great community. Wishing you all the best in your next step! We'll be with you all the way.
As a fan who remembers some of the earliest episodes I can say one thing: I will rewatch the series because it's pure acoustic geek gold mine!
I am sad to see the show end. I have been watching regularly for the last year. Looking forward to what is next.

One step at a time…small wins!! Just that has helped me a lot!! Can’t wait for what you have planned next! ❤😊

thanks so much tony! you’re a treasure in the guitar world, you changed my life forever and helped me overcome the negativity that apparently many of us have. i have no doubt you will excel in your new endeavors and will continue to help form new confident guitar players, love the growth mindset you are demonstrating! living outside your comfort zone to continue to grow! can’t wait to reflect back in a year and more!!!!
The mental part really is the highest hurdle and I believe you’ll be great at addressing that. Looking forward to what’s next! ❤
Best of luck Tony! I think it’s a wise move, you’ll be great with the new focus shift! Thanks for 310 shows, very impressive achievement!
Thank You Tony
I can’t wait for your new direction! Wishing you the best!!!
The pleasure has been all mine. I am excited for you and your family as your journey continues. God Bless. Looking forward to seeing what you do. LOVE your positive vibes!
Tony, thanks for sharing this with us. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next.
Loved the show Tony. Being dad rocks. As a Canuck guitar fiddler, loved the Jerseys, the insight on playing, the guitar reviews, all of it! Best to you, Tony, and your wife and boys. And big hugs from the Hammer!!
So sad this has come to an end. I love this channel and anything that has innit, especially Acoustic Tuesday
I am sorry to see your show go away from You Tube. I Thourghly enjoyed it to the max,
We're with you Tony
Hey Tony,
I’m a TAC life member here and your daily challenges are really fantastic. I used to poke in briefly time to time and it just seemed a bit redundant.
These new daily’s changed that and I’m logging in each and every day now 🤙
Thanks and please keep doing what you’re doing now man!
My best,
Tommy~
You, TAC and Acoustic Tuesday has been a part of my life. Thanks, Tony P! See you again down the dusty. 👍
Thank you, Tony! I have been watching for almost 2 years now and I have loved it. I look forward to seeing what the future brings.
As a player and a teacher myself i say: Thank you Tony for the show and looking forward to your future content :)
Tony, thanks for all your effort and sharing. Good luck. See you somewhere. 🎸
R.I.P!!! BROW , THANK YOU FROM SP BRASIL !!!
I love the transparency about and your devotion to your family is honorable. Continue to keep rock for the acousties and families! ✊🏾
With You Tony!
Family first! Good choice.
Thanks Tony!
Thank you!
Thank you for teaching me to play a guitar - you made the journey fun!
