I just got a Ventricosa k x (ventricosa x(carunculata x merrilliana)) that I'm quite excited about. It will be very similar to this hybrid except perhaps less squat, and the pitchers are SO dark. Like stained cherry wood. I'm in love with it.

Wow that's gorgeous! I have this plant I bought from you but it's never made anything like that. It does make cool pitchers. I grow mine outside. Don't know if mine's too young or I'm doing something wrong but I get about two pitchers a year at most.

Scary Fear I Remember:) Although many Nepenthes have the potential to grow great outdoors, there’s nothing quite like babying them in a greenhouse. This one has a couple plants in it that really want high humidity to thrive, such as merrilliana.

@@redleafexotics4722 I definitely have the high humidity covered at least. I recently got a polytunnel but it's just been sitting boxed in my garage because I'm not able to level my ground. It's been frustrating that I almost have my first geenhouse. I will be repotting my plant soon, the media is bad so it's time for fresh stuff. Well I grow in a pot like yours so I have that part right.

It's size is beyond amazing, but damn I hate the overall appearance of the pitcher! It's like someone inflated a sibuyanensis way too much and then, let it melt a little bit. I've seen something similar with sibuyanensis x ventricosa but the next gen hybrid, (Sibuyanensis x ventricosa) x robcantleyi is quite beautifull (my opinion).
Can't wait to see more complex hybrids involving that monster!
