Great job. I'd strongly suggest wearing a respirator when sanding and painting. You're doing a number on your lungs in the canopy with all that.
See, I'd say the same thing. But I never wear it either 👀 kinda like that chemical smell 😍
I was really shock to see no respirator too! Or gloves with some of the products 👀👀
Some shoes wouldn’t hurt either lol
or at least....shoes?
Absolutely Amazing! You make it seem so effortless and the end result is stunning.
Kara....WOW!!!...my first time watching your incredible creativity!!! You are AWESOME girl!!! What wonderful unique pieces you make!! My paternal Grandma began training me in all things artsy at the young age of 3 or 4 years old!!! So...I've been into art, of all mediums, for over 60 years!!! Again, what incredible talent you have!!! Your eye for detail is amazing!!! One comment, I have seen from others, PLEASE WEAR SOME SORT OF MASK!!! I know first hand, the toll these chemicals take on our precious lungs!!! So, think of it as your safety tip you gave about the hot glue!!!! If you use hot glue...you have burned yourself at some point!! Your precious, valuable lungs, are also being burned!!! Want you safe and healthy to continue to dazzle us with your unique talents!! Thank you so very much for sharing with us Kara!!! Keep on crafting girl!!! 🎃
Thank you Kara, Your tutorial was informative and inspirational !! You have so many points that are covered leaves no question how to achieve your ultimate vision.
Great demo. Incidentally the speed of the video gives the background walls the appearance of the breathing of a great beast. :)
Amazing work! A true artist!
although this is old I absolutely LOVVVE it! The work the details and all I genuinely watch this from the beginning to the end
I am so impressed with this. Thank you so much for sharing this and for creating. I am OBSESSED
That's a great pumpkin
Beautiful!
...and the pumpkin's pretty awesome too!
I love how whimsical, and animated theese pumpkins look!
Wow great video. Boy you are soooo creative. I just loved your video!
LOVE your stuff! I love how whimsical these pumpkins are.
Thank you 🎃
Awesome work! ALOT,, of work, lol!! You really smashed it. Great job and thank you for sharing
Kara this is absolutely amazing. Your skill is top notch. I've got to mention your hot melt process scared the hell out of me. I used to work with it in a professional high volume manner and we always had a bucket of water nearby to plunge a hand or in your case a foot in to stop the burning if you mess up. That stuff doesn't come off until cool.
You are so talented! Beautiful work
This has got to be one of the best things I've ever seen! Love the creativity and def am gonna have to do one for myself soon! Thanks for the tutorial and tips!
You have incredible talent and creativity. 😊❤
Congratulations, what a beautiful work and tutorial! Thank you very much!
Wow!! That’s a lot of work!!
Well done
I have to say , I really enjoyed watching you make this, you have amazing talent and vision!~ well done!
The collection is coming together nicely! looks great!
Jeff Walker Thank you 🎃
Loved the tutorial, but looks so intimidating!😮
I like your art work pumpkin 🎃
I loved this video. You showed from start to finish each step. The painting turned out perfect to look like a pumpkin does. I used to do stuff like that back in the day. But was limited on the craft supplies that is available today. I made a black fuzzy 12 foot spider that had a 5 foot fuzzy butt. Used 2 inch round red lenses for lighted eyes. Used it 2 seasons till someone paid me good money for it. Can't do that stuff anymore due to a stroke. Glad you did a video on it. Keep up the good work
is amazing and wonderful. great work . I love it . Greetings from Dresden Germany
That's a lot of work. You did awesome!
that is brilliant. great job and well done
Great job!!
Beautiful job! Like something from Disney! What an awesome tutorial! Thanks for sharing ❤️🎃
This was one of the best videos I have watched on Styrofoam production! I was taking notes on all your tips and trick to use for the pumpkin that I am making for my Halloween Birthday. Thank you so much for this well executed tutorial.
These are amazing! For your great idea here’s one in return. Maybe for easier storage you could countersink strong magnets in the seems. Pumpkin can then be stored in 2 pieces and be able then to store from the long magnetic strips they sell for tools
Great idea! Thanks for the tip
That was a lot of work, but man the end result was stunning... you are a talented person indeed. This looks so intimidating....
This was amazing!
Hands down the coolest thing I've seen on UA-cam! So much detail and great tips. You've inspired me to give this a go. Thanks so much!

Awesome work!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing work
I smashed that like button and subscribed wow! Breathtaking!!! Inspired!!!
You are amazing and may I add the working space is to die for. You have such a clear plan for that mess!! Brillant job. Subscribed
Very cool watching your pumpkin take shape. Those hot knives and cutters make short work of all that trimming. Dont you worry about all the particulates in the air from the foam cutting, shaving, and burning?
Superb! Some great tips too. Thanks.
Awesomeness!!!! It looks so cool. Wow you really put a lot of work into this. Those details. Nice!
You put a lot of work into this Halloween project.
Wow that is one sweet a$$ pumpkin!!! You make the coolest props!!! Josh
Thank you! 🎃 many more on the way
This is awesome! I need to try this now. Very informative

Hollywood Haunter Thank You! You created this monster. HaHa
fantastic work ! however, curious to know , do you have an exhaust fan to remove the fumes coming off the stryofoam that you are breathing in inside that tent . They say, if this is polysttrene there are upwards of 100 different toxic chemicals emited as it melts/burns . I sure hope you have some method of removing those fumes not to mention the fine fine dust from sanding the foam that is harmful .
Amazing work!
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE!!!
wow thats all i can say excellent work i love it
A total ARTIST
That is some crazy talent!
I love this! So much talent! Question: How do you store them?
WOW! THat's an amazing project!!!
and I love all the pumpkins that showed up in the background, while you were making this Jack-O-Lantern.... =)
*LOL!* - When you were applying the "hard coat", the fast forward made it look like the Jack-o-dude was giggling. ;)
Oh my was this a treat to watch!! You are so talented!!!! It's so awesome to see all the pumpkins you made with all the different faces. Really A fantastic job. 🎃

Should you have a mask on to protect yourself from the fumes? Thanks for the video.

Man that looks like a lot of work. You make it look easy, and that is some amazing work! Loved watching this. Thanks for sharing!

Truly awe inspiring artistry!! This is so amazing!
I like video
You can use all of the shavings to make stryocrete - light weight concrete.
That’s interesting. I didn’t know that existed
Do you have a recipe or tutorial for styrocrete? My search didn't turn up with much.
this is really awesome, I follow you on instagram but I just found out you have a youtube, your work is amazing
Wow. That really was amazing to watch. How many hours of time and how much $$ do you think you have into the one you just made. It is really great!
Hi, I’d say I had roughly 10-12 hours, cost of materials around $500. Blocks of foam are expensive
Just found this, great video. Where do you get your big blocks of foam now? I see haunters foam's website is no longer up, thank you!
You did an amazing job. Well done. Well done. Well done. Do you sell these? How can I purchase one?
Thank you, I have resin cast pumpkins available on my website karawalkerdesigns.com
Love it, like your technique with hot glue!
Thank you! So many uses for hot glue
to make the eyes, mouth and nose black during the day you can use backlight rear light spray paint. that is a black transparent paint especially for car lighting. the light just comes through.
This is wonderful! Do you sell these?
Amazing job!!! But I don’t think I’m able to do it myself hahahha 😂
