Great job. I'd strongly suggest wearing a respirator when sanding and painting. You're doing a number on your lungs in the canopy with all that.
See, I'd say the same thing. But I never wear it either 👀 kinda like that chemical smell 😍
I was really shock to see no respirator too! Or gloves with some of the products 👀👀
Some shoes wouldn’t hurt either lol
Kara....WOW!!!...my first time watching your incredible creativity!!! You are AWESOME girl!!! What wonderful unique pieces you make!! My paternal Grandma began training me in all things artsy at the young age of 3 or 4 years old!!! So...I've been into art, of all mediums, for over 60 years!!! Again, what incredible talent you have!!! Your eye for detail is amazing!!! One comment, I have seen from others, PLEASE WEAR SOME SORT OF MASK!!! I know first hand, the toll these chemicals take on our precious lungs!!! So, think of it as your safety tip you gave about the hot glue!!!! If you use hot glue...you have burned yourself at some point!! Your precious, valuable lungs, are also being burned!!! Want you safe and healthy to continue to dazzle us with your unique talents!! Thank you so very much for sharing with us Kara!!! Keep on crafting girl!!! 🎃
I clicked on how to cut a pumpkin and i got IT , what a great master piece

Great demo. Incidentally the speed of the video gives the background walls the appearance of the breathing of a great beast. :)
Wow! Great work as always. Very cool to see the whole pumpkin evolve.
This has got to be one of the best things I've ever seen! Love the creativity and def am gonna have to do one for myself soon! Thanks for the tutorial and tips!

Man that looks like a lot of work. You make it look easy, and that is some amazing work! Loved watching this. Thanks for sharing!
Good job! Would love to see all of them together!
Very nice. It's interesting to watch someone work on essentially the same project that I did. I made my first pumpkin this past halloween. We have similar styles to how we make our videos. You've definitely gave me some ideas on how to plus the pumpkin that I'm going to make for next year!
I am obsessed with this! You are so inspiring and what a talent you have!!
Hey Kara! Girl, you are a work horse! I can't imagine a more fun job to have than this! You are awesome! I love how that pumpkin came to life! I was mesmerized watching! TFS Hugs!
This was one of the best videos I have watched on Styrofoam production! I was taking notes on all your tips and trick to use for the pumpkin that I am making for my Halloween Birthday. Thank you so much for this well executed tutorial.
Oh my was this a treat to watch!! You are so talented!!!! It's so awesome to see all the pumpkins you made with all the different faces. Really A fantastic job. 🎃
This is SO freaking awesome! Funny enough, I was watching MAKING IT and saw the giant foam pumpkin and googled how to make one and here you are! GREAT JOB and THANK YOU for this tutorial! Can't wait to make it
Great job!!
Thank you for sharing. I learned a lot.
Awesome!
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE!!!
Amazing work!
REALLY LOVELY!!
That is some crazy talent!
Superb! Some great tips too. Thanks.
The collection is coming together nicely! looks great!
Jeff Walker Thank you 🎃
Amazing!
Kara this is absolutely amazing. Your skill is top notch. I've got to mention your hot melt process scared the hell out of me. I used to work with it in a professional high volume manner and we always had a bucket of water nearby to plunge a hand or in your case a foot in to stop the burning if you mess up. That stuff doesn't come off until cool.
Congratulations, what a beautiful work and tutorial! Thank you very much!
Absolutely amazing!! You got some serious talent. 🎃🍁🍂🎃🍁🍂
This is awesome! I need to try this now. Very informative
Incredible! I love it😍
I loved this video. You showed from start to finish each step. The painting turned out perfect to look like a pumpkin does. I used to do stuff like that back in the day. But was limited on the craft supplies that is available today. I made a black fuzzy 12 foot spider that had a 5 foot fuzzy butt. Used 2 inch round red lenses for lighted eyes. Used it 2 seasons till someone paid me good money for it. Can't do that stuff anymore due to a stroke. Glad you did a video on it. Keep up the good work
Awesome work!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You are amazing and may I add the working space is to die for. You have such a clear plan for that mess!! Brillant job. Subscribed
In one word AMAZING. You’re so talented. LOVE IT 🎃
You are so talented! Beautiful work
Great video! It’s always fun to see other people’s techniques.
It really is great that we as artist can all learn from each other 🎨
Should you have a mask on to protect yourself from the fumes? Thanks for the video.
Kara, I’m a new subscriber. I love this. You gave the best tutorial I’ve seen + product list. Thank you! May even do this for smaller pumpkins. Have you ever made a Great Pumpkin (Peanuts) display out of foam?
So so cool👍🏻🎃
wow thats all i can say excellent work i love it
Sweet!
Truly awe inspiring artistry!! This is so amazing!
I like video
I absolutely love these! Wish I could have you make me a slightly smaller one!!
This might just have to be a project for 2021...thanks for all of the detailed information!
Revenant Manor Ya, it’s a big project 🎃 2021 will be a good year 👍🏼
Very cool watching your pumpkin take shape. Those hot knives and cutters make short work of all that trimming. Dont you worry about all the particulates in the air from the foam cutting, shaving, and burning?
that is brilliant. great job and well done
Awesome work
O
G I’m so impressed I love it
Absolutely awesome!! And wow did the Hot Wire tools help make it go faster than the previous pumpkins. You really have a special talent..thank you for the tutorials!
Thank you! Yes, the new tools made it so easy
Really Amazing Job . Beautiful work love it ~
this is really awesome, I follow you on instagram but I just found out you have a youtube, your work is amazing
Wow that’s amazing. You are very talented!
That's a lot of work. You did awesome!
thats was so awesome ...Amazing work !! HFL!!
Amazing 🤩 great job
this is awesome
Amazing work
Awesome work! ALOT,, of work, lol!! You really smashed it. Great job and thank you for sharing
I like your art work pumpkin 🎃
These are amazing! For your great idea here’s one in return. Maybe for easier storage you could countersink strong magnets in the seems. Pumpkin can then be stored in 2 pieces and be able then to store from the long magnetic strips they sell for tools
Great idea! Thanks for the tip
FABULOUS as always! Also great job on the production with the voice-over and whimsical music! Great quality!
ItsFoamtastic! Thank you! I’m learning 😆
Amazing
That was a lot of work, but man the end result was stunning... you are a talented person indeed. This looks so intimidating....
I would really like to try this job
Such creativity , great job .
Wow these are so awesome! Really beautiful work, so spooky, whimsical, and perfectly Halloween!!🎃💀👻👍
Thank you!!!
to make the eyes, mouth and nose black during the day you can use backlight rear light spray paint. that is a black transparent paint especially for car lighting. the light just comes through.
Loved the tutorial, but looks so intimidating!😮
I smashed that like button and subscribed wow! Breathtaking!!! Inspired!!!
Love it, like your technique with hot glue!
Thank you! So many uses for hot glue
You can use all of the shavings to make stryocrete - light weight concrete.
That’s interesting. I didn’t know that existed
Do you have a recipe or tutorial for styrocrete? My search didn't turn up with much.
I love em🎃🎃🎃🎃
WOW! THat's an amazing project!!!
and I love all the pumpkins that showed up in the background, while you were making this Jack-O-Lantern.... =)
*LOL!* - When you were applying the "hard coat", the fast forward made it look like the Jack-o-dude was giggling. ;)
fantastic work ! however, curious to know , do you have an exhaust fan to remove the fumes coming off the stryofoam that you are breathing in inside that tent . They say, if this is polysttrene there are upwards of 100 different toxic chemicals emited as it melts/burns . I sure hope you have some method of removing those fumes not to mention the fine fine dust from sanding the foam that is harmful .
🎃💚 Love it
These turned out so amazing you did such a great job. We love your style and thank you for all the tips and techniques. That's a sweet work space and we really need to try the paints one of these days. Thanks again for sharing Kara really awesome work it's going to look so good this year. 😍👍
Hollywood Haunter Thank You! You created this monster. HaHa
awesome
Love the video and the pumpkin…..but a mask is necessary to prevent the styrofoam particles from entering your lungs😊
