How to Replace Gearbox Oil on a Polo Vivo

Definitely helped, what would've helped more, is having the back of the car lifted as well, so the gearbox is level and lets more oil out and in, mine used 1,7l oil having it level, I used the Ravenol 75w, gears are as smooth as a nice going through soft butter

Hi bro... Great video!
I drive a Polo Vivo 1.6 2012 model. Im having a problem with gear shifting, when I change gears they get stuck and im full clutching the car!
I actually service the car myself... So one time I was inspecting the car and could see some oil leakage underneath... But from what i could see it was not coming from the sump, But the leakage was coming from somewhere in the sump area... to an extend that the sump was covered with oil, although the oil was not dripping onto the ground.
Someone advised me the gear shifting issue could be the gear-box oil... maybe i need to refill it. Your opinion/advise please!

I would definitely start by checking the gearbox oil level and replacing the gearbox oil. Very possible that your input shaft seal is leaking, which will require you to take the gearbox out to replace

As off lately I have had problems getting the car into 1 st gear and reverse. Today I could not get it into reverse at all. From this I deduct that there is selector problems on the gearbox. Am I right. It's not a lack of gearbox oil.
I have a 1400 manual shift polo vivo. Is this a costly exercise? I am 70 and a pensioner.

Nice videos. Please advice. I am driving 2013 polo vivo 1.4 manual and it's having a problem with acceleration, the RPM goes high but slow on acceleration. I checked my pressure control valve and its not leaking, even my exhaust is not leaking. What could cause this problem? When I press the accelerator, the RPM goes up with no increase in spread and there is a hissing and whistling sound, like a forced, pressed air. Please help...

Ey my guy, I took out the clutch kit and yoh..., it was worn out and even damaged the flywheel holding bolts...
