hello I need some outside opinions to see if I'm going insane or not, after watching like 15 minutes of this video please reply to this comment with "game sucks" if Poppy 3 is a trash game, OR reply with "oboe sucks" if it's a skill issue
The fact that the electricity on both the hand and the receiving node wears off teaches the player that electricity is temporary, nothing about how electricity is presented tells you over even implies that you can only transfer the charge to one node at a time

Ah yes, a game where a character gets ripped in half violently where they need a belt to be wrapped around their waist so their guts don’t fall out, and then a bunch of creatures eat that character from the inside out alive. Definitely for kids.
Yeah, basically "what if you made Five Nights at Freddy's have the mechanics of Outlast and Amnesia" without realizing part of why FNaF got so big when it was first released was because every other horror game was mechanically like that and it stood out.

@@littlemoth4956 Not really related to my joke at all, but "First-person game where you wander through setpieces, solve puzzles, and get chased by some unkillable enemy until reaching the next setpiece under the theme of 'kid's thing but scary' is extremely cliche at this point" is the most common criticism I hear of Poppy's Playtime, which isn't really oversimplifying it, but go off, I guess. I know that last puzzle that pissed Oboe off enough to quit was just him doing it wrong and not switching the batteries around, but it's not like Oboe's fanbase is drawn to him because we think he's the best gamer.

I just watched the AstralSpiff video on this game and he was getting bugs in basically every single room, got softlocked like 5 times, some of the mechanics were very unclear and not really explained, and the story is LITERALLY just FNAF (oh the souls of people are trapped in childs entertainment that kills people! also there's a secret underground facility and it was done intentionally by some evil dude! how original!). And then at the end he was like "Well it run better than the last one so yeah banger game" and I knew all hope was lost. Banban - 0-7 year olds Poppy - 7-12 year olds Fnaf - 12-15 20-25 year olds (at first because funny loud scream, then because muh lore obsession) Every generic "analog horror" thing - 15-20 year olds It's a sad state for horror fans. Whatever happened to real, good horror, like badly photoshopping a ghost into a flash game? True art, gone...

Spiffs consistent compliment was "it runs better than the last one" and "it is better than the last one" which isn't saying much because poppy chapter 2 also sucked. There's a reason the poppy series is only rated teen on app stores, and I'd say that's being very generous, it's intended for people younger than teens.

I like just about everything tbh but not the gameplay or pacing of story it takes soooooo long to get to good parts and they short asf then the gameplay is basic stuff tbh but it is a cool story
