That's fantastic Cody! I sincerely woke up this morning thinking of Alvi. My cat, Jerry, does the exact little flip that Alvi did. So when we get up he follows me to the kitchen and does the little flip. I always think of Alvi, which makes me think of Cody. 🤗😺😻❤️❤️ God bless all of you🙏
The reason all cats can do this is because they have a 'floating' collarbone. Unlike most other mammals their collarbone is not attached to their skeleton, so it gives them incredible flexibility!

Good experiment since some people can't believe a cat can get into an opening the size of their head. You just proved that and also that it is true that anything smaller is too little to get into for a cat. Good job, Cody.
Well, if Cody keeps doing food rewarded experiments like this he might become chubby some day. But for now he is a smooth kitty. He did great with this one.
That was so cool! I love seeing Cody, and all other cats, show us just how smart and adaptable they are! Cody isn't chubby, but he's pretty much at the high end of his weight class. Just like his twin here, our Buddy. I think we should chip in and get Cody one of those Fast Cat Wheels, so he can get all the exercise he needs. Thinking about one for our Buddy. Wow very cool! Believe me, I've met some chubby cats and Cody is healthy and relatively slim. : ) A funny note, we went out of town for 10 days and our cat sitter thought that Ginger was supposed to get as much food as our big boys. tiny Ginger was as round as a soccer ball when we returned.

I have been told Remy is chubby/ chunky too. He is a big boy but his Vet doesn't say he needs to loose weight which I tell these rude people. You don't owe any explanation to anyone. Cody looks like a good weight and he is active. The only one that matters is his Dr if he or she thinks his weight is good or bad. I like how he picks his food up with his paw...so cute. Cody is like what I do for food providers videos. 😂 😂

Non-fixed shoulder blades allows cat to fit through any opening he can get his head through. Pretty amazing!
