    I know many of your subscribers, including me, really appreciate these budget skin care videos. I especially enjoy the Wal-Mart ones because it's the store that's closest to me and I shop there a lot. I learned pretty quickly when I first found you that I didn't need to spend a crazy amount of money to take care of my skin. I thank you for that. You've saved me so much money. Happy Thursday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a tranquil evening. 💚

    Would you consider doing video opinions about CVS brand skin care products? Our Medicare Advantage plan gives $120 quarterly allowance for a selection of (mostly) CVS brand products including skin care (esp for dry, exema, diabetics etc) and I’ve found I’d like to order these to use my allowance. You are always so good to point out versatility of products, maybe including how to use for those who don’t have the condition on the brand label. Thanks for considering!

But I was curious if you could review the ingredients in those, especially the Anti-Wrinkle Renewal cream. I bought that recently & then I read stuff online that there could be cancer causing ingredients, which makes me nervous now to use it. If you have any advice on that, it would be greatly appreciated! I hate that I might have wasted $16 on a product though now if I can't even use it, but any cancer warnings scare me, especially when it comes to face areas.

    Thanks for the video Dr. Dray. I have a question...I've used Paula's Choice Clear line for a couple years and I like it and I started adding in my Tretinoin into my routine again (4 nights a week) and I noticed that around my nose and mouth area it stings on the nights that i use Paula only for about 20 to 30 minutes then it stops. I only use Tretinoin at night 4 times a week versus 7 days a week like I use to. I do not use a chemical exfoliator the day I plan to use Tretinoin...its only been a month and 2 weeks in. Can't BHAs be used alternate days with Tretinoin?, is this my face trying to get accustomed to both products? I'm just afraid that if I only use Tretinoin to treat acne it may not be enough. Do I need an acne system along with Tretinoin to fight acne? I'm sorry for all these questions, I trust your advice. Blessings~

      @@shannonvdb sorry to hear you've been struggling for so long 😓 do you know if the smell is due to your scalp sweating excessively? Or is it more the oil? I know salicylic acid is great for helping with bacteria and acne on the scalp and also seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis, maybe it would be useful for your condition too?

      @@shannonvdb Sounds like seb derm. Maybe try Ketoconazle Shampoo ( sold in most drugstores). You could also ask your dr. & maybe get prescription strength ketoconazle shampoo. Leave either on scalp for 5 minutes before rinsing. Best to ask your doc first, just to make sure that’s prob. Oily scalps are more prone to seb derm on scalp. Hope this helps. Good luck

    Lume does have a product that controls sweat. I haven’t tried it yet but I do use their deodorants and love them. I used to use Secret Clinical and stopped working for me for both sweat and odor.

      I love Lume too. Been using it since it first came out. When they first came out, the fragrances were horrible. Now they've improved, but I only liked the unscented...and I was really happy when they came out with a solid stick. I haven't tried the one with aluminum that is sweat control either. Probably will this summer.

    All skincare at my Walmart is locked up and must get an employee to open and buy at the cash in the section . I understand why. But I find I don't really spend as much it ruins the shopping experience for me because if I am getting an employee to open the cabinet each time to get something for me it better be worth the energy for me.

    Thoughts on super dry feet with peeling between and around the toes?

    • @buckyyyb
      @buckyyyb 11 місяців тому

      Depends on many factors: are you consistently moisturizing your feet? What are you using? Are you making sure to wash sweat off of them? Are you airing out your shoes and putting foot powder in them? Have you been looked at first athlete’s foot? If no to athlete’s foot, take a look at all the other things listed, see your habits with them. If you’re not allergic to petroleum, try the soak and smear. When you get out of the shower, don’t dry the water from your feet, leave some on, then grease them up with a good layer of Vaseline and put socks on
