    I have always loved Abba and their music. They are one of the most beautifully harmonically blended groups I have ever heard. Of the two girls Frida and Agnetha, my friends all seem to root for Agnetha as far as beauty goes. I don't know...maybe I'm the odd man out here, but I think Frida is absolutely beautiful, and I prefer her voice to Agnetha's, but I couldn't imagine any one of their voices being absent from the group...but oh well...I guess its all according to taste.

      Of the girls Frida always was the more talkative, fun and outgoing one on stage. Frida, also loved the stage, lights, camera, etc.... and was noticed for her great live singing and her joy of being on stage. She was very flirty and engaging.
      Frida's background is a stage singer and performer since grade school, turning pro in 1958. In 1967-1972 she did live TV shows, live radio shows and also modeled before ABBA.
      Agnetha was most comfortable in studio. Agnetha's background was studio pop singer before ABBA. That is how she was known. A pop star. She had some live stage experience, but very little.
      Frida was the ABBA girl that was known for her fun and flirty on stage performances and her one-on-one fan interactions.

      As for Dick Clark, his unprofessionalism here was stunning. You’d think that a longtime TV and radio personality would have better interviewing skills, but this was terrible. They indulged him nonetheless, but I almost wish one of the girls would hit him over the head with that microphone!

      @herrbonk3635 3 роки тому +4

      @@Soundeagle3456 It depends on the letter following the ä/ö, but approximately, Fältskog is pronounced like felt + school - l + g. In words where the ä is followed by an r (lär, bär, ära, etc) the ä opens up and becomes similar to the vowel sound in fair, hair, bare, dare, etc. Meanwhile, the sounds in sir, stir, bird, learn, etc. are similar to an open ö.

He really wasn't very good at interviewing people and that was a big reason why. However, he could have asked them some better questions. There are plenty of ways that he could have been smoother when asking about their accents and their musical influences.

    Dick Clark is one of those people who always think they have a lot to say or ask in an interview, but really doesn't. He spent so much time in the music business, interviewed a lot of acts through the decades, and yet every interview I've ever heard from him is just as awful as this one.

It was a time when adults spoke to each other like adults, and didn't have a need to run away feeling offended by every little thing.

He had absolutely no clue what he was doing, and his awkward attempt to talk with them ended up having him doing most of the talking and then attempting to explain his way out of several stupid things he said or asked.
