- Ride-by with my 1971 Honda CL350. Aftermarket Cone Engineering exhaust, wide open throttle sounds killer! This little twin thumps, if you enjoy hearing different motorcycles, give this one a listen!!
Finally! Someone knows how to make a great exhaust video!
And... That's how flyby videos are made gentlemen! Awesome video!!!
Wicked! Awesome little Honda twin. I'm getting to the end of my CL rebuild. Tempted to go with a set of stainless reverse cones...
good luck with your build man, the Cone engineering exhaust sounds badass but they are LOUD when you get on it!
Fantastic A/V on this. Short, simple, great quality.
Now that's what I'm talking about. Almost done with my Honda rebel Cl/CB 350 conversion. Awesome motor.
Honda just the best Ride
That sounds great! Getting close to pulling the trigger on a 72 CL350 on Craigslist.
good luck man, hope you get it, they're a lot of fun!
Definitely more like this! I just bought a ‘72 CB350 for $250. I can’t wait to get it running & see what she sounds like, I think the Honda 2-cyls sound wicked!
Crazy sound, sound fast too
Wow... Sounds awesome.
Cool sound
Good job on the jetting 👍
comes with free left leg roaster...oh the scars
lmao...yup!
😂 almost burn through my pants
Nice not frightened to use it
I’ve watched this video countless times, I’m coming to the end of my build I went with 14 inches reverse cones hope mine sounds this healthy..stock motor?
that's awesome man, I'm curious how the 14" pipes sound compared to the shorter ones. The motor has been bored and has Kibblewhite valves and springs but that's it. otherwise it's stock.
I went with 1.5 inch pipes too the exhaust is completely custom. The valve and springs are pretty much drop in right? Not a bigger diameter I’m assuming. If you want to check out my build I’m on Instagram @skidkidericsilva 🤘
@@EJ25GC8 just followed you homie, your bike is looking sick! Yes, valves/springs were drop in. Looking forward to seeing your bike when it's done!
Awesome video, was it difficult to get the jetting set? Interested in these pipes and was just curious.
I haven't really messed with it honestly, it has stock jets I believe. . It's running on the rich side for sure, I may try to lean it out a little bit this spring when I get it back out. I didn't notice the pipes change anything much to be honest, other than the sound.
Which specific cones are these? I’ve recently acquired a CL350 and I love the sound of yours
these are the 12" straight core stainless steel slip-ons. Just a warning, they are very loud, they make an 18" version that are quieter which I would have went with but I wanted the shorter length.
Big_Blok_Hed would you say they’re too loud?
@@NSDQ3 i guess it's hard to say as everybody has their own taste. When you're just cruising along they're not too loud, it's when you get it on that they really get loud, pretty much like a loud harley. If I had to do it again I would probably go with the 18" quieter ones. Give Cone a call, they might be able to help you decide, they were very helpful when I called.
Don't know if I'd rather have this or a four
I think the fours sounds better when you get on them but the twins sounds better at idle
@@big_blok_hed agree
And, this is why you can actually show off a screaming 50 year old motorcycle and not a screaming 50 year old woman. Hahahahaha
How tall are you?
Are those the stock pipes, if so I'm curious what size ID did you order for your pipes? gonna order some soon!
yes, they are stock, I just cut the mufflers off and put on the Cone Eng slip-ons. They are 1.5" OD I believe
@@big_blok_hed Yep thats what i got for mine for the OD the ID was about 1.35-6 so i ordered the 1.375 that's the closest they had gonna weld them on, But did you just let them hang or did you mount them onto frame somehow?
@@techgizmo6157 I used the stock mount, which is located right before where the slip-ons mount to the old pipes. It's been fine, hasn't given me an problems at all. If you look at my other video, I think there's a better shot of the mount
Too loud. Couldn't ride that bike with all that noise very far.
maybe that's why they're called cafe racers... to race between cafe's...
