The fact that Hulk is capable to recognize emotions, to me, reveals that Hulk actually matures as he ages, but only when he is the one outside, as opposed to Banner being in control. So two years of being pure Hulk, probably gave him quite a bit of intelligence.
That's why Endgame botheres me, Hulk is clearly a different person, but Endgame just killed him so his body gets fused with Bruce's, and only Bruce survives, whitch sucks, because Hulk has....HAD alot of potential on it's own, but MCU screwed him over.

Well Maestro is supposed to be an older, less angrier, smarter, and more calculating version of Hulk. So as he gets older, he just gets better in the ways that matter.

He's a giant titanicly strong radioactive monster who can fight giant ancient eldritch titans and topple a building in less than 5 minutes but he acts like a pissed off toddler and talks like one too. He is also very cute in my opinion when Black Widow calms him down. I know the Hulk and Bruce Banner are 2 different personalities and Natasha is in love with Banner and vice versa, but I think the Hulk kinda has a crush on her too and why she is even able to calm him down.

Notice how all the most lovely and noble of heart female characters in disney have those moments. Moments where wild creatures of the woods come and submit themselves to gain her affection? From birds to rabits, even deer, dogs and sometime wolves... Beauty and the beast is the story of how a beastly heart was transformed into a noble prince by the embrace of Bell(or however you spell her name, which just means beauty in Italian or whatever).
This film showed a perfect contrast of Banner and Hulk
Banner - physically not so strong but highly intelligent
Hulk - Physically super strong but with a kid's brain
They literally had a perfect Hulk in Thor Ragnarök and then they decided to ruin him in Infinity war and ruin him even more in Endgame. Both of these movies are extremely great tho but Hulk is one of the few things it portrayed horrible.

Hulk has other emotions aswell. But his anger is multiple times higher. But still he can feel sadness, fear, love or compassion, even if he is most likely just angry.
After he fought Tony in Age of Ultron, he sees all the damage he has coursed and feels sad and pitty about it. That makes him weak for a Moment, which Tony uses to knock him out.
I hope hulk is like this forever. Hes funny and he is like a kid. I kinda miss this version of hulk.

Its awesome they finally showed this side of Hulk, he does feel alone, betrayed, and hated by the one place he called home and all he wanted to do was be left alone. There is a lot more to Hulk than just his rage, his character creation by Stan Lee was described has a bad break up where he felt never ending rage and a lot of pain. That's why I love the green machine, we all can relate to him.

What hurts with this is the fact that this is basically the last time we see Hulk as Hulk if we ignore his defeat at the start of Infinity War. Banner just wipes him out by putting his own consciousness inside Hulks body. I like Professor Hulk and all but I'd love a split personality showing that Hulk is there.

I love how in all their interactions Thor is probably the only one not intimidated by the Hulk. Everyone else is often nervous or afraid to see him but Thor is down to fight or hang out with the Hulk

Hulk is contempt with how he was living but banner comes out causing them both to leave sakaar, as shown in the Asgard fight against Hela banner threw himself onto the bridge and dies which forces Hulk to emerge, Ragnarok drives a even bigger wedge between Hulk and banner for taking him away from happiness & just using him like a tool wenever a battle happens causing him to not come out in Infinity war.

Who else cried watching it when hulk put down the spikes and started to get sad and hate himself, it shows he has a real personality and that creatures can have emotions. That clip really teared me up. 😭😢😢
