The thing about Christmas. Everything changes so much with so much more light and decoration. When you take it away, there is a significant drop in that ambient light. I first noticed this when I went to Vegas for the first time for a week. I came back to Toronto and it looked so dark and dreary.
@@TheLodgeGuys What I have done in the past, if I got long branches and covered them with mini-white Christmas lights to fill the space left by the tree. So I still have something with light. I haven't done that in a few years though.
I think the title of this video could fit about 90% of your videos, to be honest. 🤣 More than the usual amount of shade toward Ryan in particular, I noticed. It is true that there’s something about taking down the Christmas decorations that makes things seem sort of blah, so a change of scenery is nota bad thing. I did wonder if those were fake presents under the tree after the regular presents had been opened. I’ve never tried doing that, but then my tree usually low enough to the floor that there’s not a lot of room for presents under it anyway.
This was the final video of 2018 so we had a big surge on the shade lol, yes we have fake colour coordinated presents for our magnificent tree which is now in storage for another year boo hoo :(
Thank you for the diffuser and oils. We received them today. Another fun vlog. Hopefully you’ll reach a million subscribers in less then 10 years. Where will you hang the plaque?
Hope they are OK and smell real nothing worst than an artificial flavour in a diffuser (Nicks expert advice there) the plaque who I dunno maybe where the kitchen pic hangs now

I love Clearwater Beach....although it has become quite commercial.. Also, it looked as Leigh was loading the dishwasher like Tim does...without completely rinsing them first 😜🙄😂. I get on him about it as I rinse the dishes so well before putting them in., that they already look clean 😂🤣😂. At that point it’s really more of a ‘sanitizer’ than a dishwasher 🤷♂️.
We only take spare food of the plates we never rinse them, there is a tray at the bottom that captures missed food bits we simply empty that and rinse it lol
The Lodge Guys as a result some of our dishes don’t come out spotless so we have to run them through again. When I point this out Tim insists ‘the point is that I shouldn’t have to rinse the dishes’, however, my point is that regardless if you should have to or not, “if they don’t come out spotless, then you have to rinse them”. He continues to not rinse with the same result...It’s like he’s trying to prove a point to the dishwasher 😂🤣😂! Ugh, drives me crazy 😜!
