Thats so cool they had the Dim Sum place. We were on ovation of the seas for Alaska and they had fish and Ships where your Dim Sum place was. Everything else looks very similar. Thank you for sharing
The Dim Sum place was unfortunately not really a Dim Sum Place. I would have much preferred the Fish & Ships. Thank you for watching though!

I'm not saying you shouldn't be excited for Brilliance of the Seas, but they are 2 different ships.
@@GoodMorningAdventures yeah i know! brilliance is probably gonna be less ~exciting~ then quantum and it's amazing amenities but you can't beat an alaskan cruise 🤷♂️
Carnival cruise line - is keeping there E-Muster Drill / Also NCL went back to E-Muster Drill
Allergies, That's why I do the traditional dining time. I take the late dining. Where the staff do not have to rush, they take their time. And you get to see the sunsets on deck with virtually an almost empty deck. And the pools on Caribbean Cruises are empty when everyone is at the early time dining and my time dining. Great Video. Love the energy!!

Well my fiancé loves the cold and I love them warmth. But we have come to a compromise that we would do an Alaskan Cruise for our first cruise and then if we love it we will do a cruise to Caribbean with our children 😀 😊 so I am looking forward to see what eles you do on your Alaska cruise. So I have an idea of what we might have to look forward too 😊
We were in 10248 on Quantum June 12th! So much fun! I bought magnet hooks but forgot them lol!
My wife and I want to go on a Quantum class ship, but when looking at the itineraries for Alaska cruises, wanted something more than just a 7-day roundtrip out of Seattle, so the Quantum of the Seas didn't work for us. Instead, we decided to do a northbound on the Celebrity Millennium from Vancouver to Seward, a night in Anchorage and then a southbound on the Majestic Princess from Whittier to Vancouver. Total of 14 days on a cruise ship and a night in Anchorage.

I want to do that so badly! That sounds like the perfect setup to take a Celebrity up and bring Princess back down! How was it? I was worried that Celebrity and Princess don't go out of the same port, but how was your experience?
@@GoodMorningAdventures we haven’t done it yet, we fly from Houston to Vancouver on 7/6 with the 1st cruise (Celebrity) leaving Vancouver on 7/7 and arriving Seward on 7/14. The Princess leaves Whittier the next day (7/15) to arrive back in Vancouver on 7/22. We’ve never done an Alaska cruise before, they we have flown to Anchorage and spent almost a week driving around the state by rental.
It will be our second Celebrity cruise since 6 years ago we took the Celebrity Reflection on a transatlantic from Miami to Rome and then spent 2 weeks sightseeing in Italy. The Majestic Princess will be our first Princess cruise. We love the longer cruises having done our first transatlantic on the Disney Magic from Galveston to Barcelona and visited Barcelona and Madrid for a couple of weeks. Also have done a Panama Canal cruise on the Disney Wonder from San Diego to Galveston in November 2021. Overall, these 2 upcoming cruises will make our 11th and 12th.
Omg guys thank you guys your amazing it gives me old memories of it😢 your in Seattle and Sitka Alaska icy strait point and Victoria Canada and then Seattle your the best😢 they have soft serve ice cream and the water is Evian water and I have been on this cruise I love this cruise my room number was 700 and two70° there is a parents trap game thing where you have to know about your kids and there is starwater and at wind jammer they have washy washy where you have to wash your hands it was the best day ever I was crying when we had to leave

Thanks for the video. I just booked Alaska on the Quantum. I have Skagway, Icy Straight Point, Juneau and Victoria. Could you tell me if you had to be tendered in to any of these? Meaning the ship parks out in the water and they bring you into port on the life boats. Some ships are too big to park at the dock. I’m hoping there will be no tendering.
One more question, there’s just 2 of us. Will we be able to sit by ourselves for dinner at a 2-top or do they put you with other travelers? Thank you for any info. 😉

The Dim Sum isn't listed on the app because it's not really Dim Sum... We explain it in the next vlog, but it's not worth a visit.
My husband and are going on this cruise next year. FIRST time cruisers!!! What do we need to know and do? Kind of scared and anxious about the process and not missing something. Please help. Enjoyed the video and very informative.
Can you check in at the airport even if you fly in a day early?
The international waters rule for casinos is a lot more complicated. For Alaska cruises the rule is the casino can be open 3 miles from the port up to 3 miles before the next port, not how far away you are from land.
I also know at coco cay slots at least will be open in port.

We’re about to book the end of April Alaska on the same ship! It leaves from Vancouver and says the ship leaves at 3am? itinerary Day 1-2 in Vancouver. Do you know if this means the ship just docks for a long time in the first day? Typically I think ships leave around 4pm.
I have a client that's booked that specific itinerary, so I know what you're talking about. But I don't exactly know what's happening. My guess is that there's a late arrival from the previous sailing, so you'll have a later boarding time. Or it has something to do with pilots and leaving through the inside passage. But you are correct, typically the ship leaves around 4pm.
How did you guys book the Royal Caribbean transfer? The day of?
We booked the transfer when we first booked the cruise.
How do you get the fast check in ???
We used a Royal Caribbean Transfer where we checked-in at the airport, we show the first part of the check-in process in the prior video.

I live in Sitka and this ship SWAMPS our town. Sitka voted against having ships thing big dock.... and a private entity built it anyways. It is always a pleasure to see this ship leave.
Well that's really unfortunate to hear... we really enjoyed visiting your town. The cruise season is almost over at least.
On ship last year and DimSum was never open and the Hot Dog place wasn't.
Disappointing when we expected it as options.
That is very disappointing... The DimSum option wasn't really DimSum, but we'll talk about it in the next video. At least the hotdog place was open for us, but I don't understand why it wouldn't have been for you.

The weather will probably be in the 60's with rain. Sometimes it gets hotter, sometimes it gets colder, it all just depends on luck.
Did they check your passports ?
They checked our passports at the airport in the prior video.
