Can I connect the AIO and the SL separately? for example AIO on the port #1 and the SL (daisy chain) on the port #2 into my UniFan SL Controller? 2. Can I connect the Strimers and LED diffusers (Lian Li Lancool), each on the port #3 and #4 into my UniFan SL Controller? 3. If I connect the rest of my AL fans to a separate UniFan AL Controller, what accessories should I have to make it all works? does it only need the USB gen2 port on the MoBo? (separate from the UniFan SL Controller) thank you
Hi Eduardus Pribadi, welcome to my channel. Q1. Can I connect the AIO and the SL separately? for example AIO on the port #1 and the SL (daisy chain) on the port #2 into my UniFan SL Controller? A1. yes you can not an issue. Q2. Can I connect the Strimers and LED diffusers (Lian Li Lancool), each on the port #3 and #4 into my UniFan SL Controller? A2. you can do that too but your LED diffusers will need a convertor to convert from standard argb connector the the JST03 connect, as your uni controller only accept those type of connectors. Q3. If I connect the rest of my AL fans to a separate UniFan AL Controller, what accessories should I have to make it all works? does it only need the USB gen2 port on the MoBo? Can I daisy chain a single AL 120 with a triple AL 120 and put that on one channel from the controller for RGB and PWM? \ Thank you for your help and expertise!
hello LunaChop, welcome to my channel. I will answer your questions as follow : Q1) You combined the AIO pump and fan RGB into the controller, but only the fan PWM went into the controller, does the pump PWM still go to the motherboard? A1) yes I plug the galahad pump directly to the motherboard fan header. Q2) Can I daisy chain a single AL 120 with a triple AL 120 and put that on one channel from the controller for RGB and PWM? A2) yes you can plug the single AL fan to the existing 3 x AL fans, but you will need to get the lian li argb kit. One thing to take note. if you plug the single AL fans to the existing, when you set stack or mix.. the single AL fan will be treated as a single unit, it does not sycn up with the exisiting fan.

OMG thank you so much for this I had like 3 Y connectors coming out of 1 ARGB header and it wasn't sitting right with me so I did some searching and found this. Going to pick up a ARGB kit ASAP. Thank you so much. I had some questions I think would be awesome if you could dive into: 1) is it possible to set the AIO fans to sync as needed to the CPU Temps? Since its going to be connected to the controller instead of the CPU fan header I'm wondering if there's a tradeoff here in how it reacts to the CPU settings. I first had the AIO fans daisy chained to the CPU fan header and notice they would rev up periodically. Now that I'm going to take it off the motherboard and connect them to the hub I'm wondering if ill loose any sync function here. 2)Could you run though how to check and ensure that the CPU pump is running at full speed. I'm sure it varies by motherboard but I'm also sure any info shared can help everyone figure out their own settings as needed. 3) Is there any way to pair or unpair the strimmer from the controller without opening up the pc and holding the button? or is it you pick which you want and settle with it. Thanks again for all your help!
Hi Chris Xavier, welcome to my channel, I did notice your questions when you posted them 7 hours ago but I am at work. unable to answer you in detials. now if you are getting the argb cable kit, this is just a diagram guide imgur.com/gallery/beYR8CN. now to answer your questions A1) you are able to but you will need to load the L-connect with the settings loaded. I would still advise you to leave the lighting effects on the uni controller and the fan load directly to the CPU FAN and your AIO Pumb to CPU_Fan1/pump. set the PWM in bios to controller CPU FAN base on temperature. as for the CPU_FAN1/pump. set to pump and I will run at full speed. 2) let me see what I can do with a seperate video. 3) there are no other ways to do that, unless you do some mods to do some soldering on the strimer controller's pcb and to extend the switch outside the case. I am terrible sorry that the strimers I have presented in this channel, that does not belongs to me, I have returned to the owner and I myself do not own one. If not I might be able to show you how to do the soldering points
@@ProfXc hi, it will work is just that when your pc starts up before window load. @@KleoYan Thank you for the quick reply and for providing the link to the quick guide So from my understanding, I should be fine to connect it all with the ARGB Cable Kit - I would connect the 2 x strimer cables to the provided controller and then into the uni controller Port 1 with the cable kit converter. - I would then connect the galahad pump and 1 x 3 set UNIFANs (AIO and top Exhaust) with the provided daisy chain cable and then use a converter from the cable kit into the uni controller port 2 - Then I could just plug 1 x 3 Unifan (bottom intake) to port 3 - Lastly I would need to use the provided splitter for the 3 STI fans from the Galahad AIO for the 3 ARGB into 1 and plug into Uni controller port 4 ARGG and then use the provided 3 head fan splitter direct into the Uni controller port 4 Fan. I do have a question regarding setting the ASUS Bios for fan control. Using your configuration plus having the PWM wire connected to the MB, in the Bios what do you set the Aura setting to, ON or OFF? Also I'm assuming you set up a fan curve in the ASUS bios then turn on PWM to the fan set you wish to have the fan curve to use? Also I saw where you recommend plugging the Lian Li AIO into the CHA Header so the AIO always runs at full speed,. Have I missed anything on Bios settings that should be set? Thank you!
hi Austin Boil, just for your info, I am not using an Asustek board but a ASrock board. Having to say this. based on Asustek motherboard bios, I would set Aura settings to on, if you intend to use the motherboard to controller the argb of your fans. this will give you a better picture on the connection and settings. ua-cam.com/video/Rm2emeyMUAk/v-deo.html. as for Fan in your bios, I will set to PWM mode and set the curve there. so when you use your L-Connect application. you can select PWM. the same video will give you a better idea on how it works. ua-cam.com/video/Rm2emeyMUAk/v-deo.html , if you ever need clarification, do let me know we can always communicate througth teams or zoom or etc.. will be glad to aid you, but during the weekdays am busy at work. it will be best to do it during the weekends. thank you!

Hi Giacomo Pelizer, welcome to my channel. I am afraid not so. The L-Connect version 1.0 will only detects 1 USB 2.0 connection. I do understand some motherboard have 2 x USB 2.0 header. If you plug another uni controller to the 2nd USB 2.0 header, it will not work. Previously, there is a L-Connect version 2.0 but was removed due to issues and errors, therefore Lian Li decided to remove this version till further notice. you might want to check their official website on the updates. They did mentioned to release it again, once it's stable. lian-li.com/product/uni-fan-sl/ scroll down and you will see the version 2.0 notice.

As for your idea to connect multiple hub and other brand controllers. I do not encourage you to do so. These are the reason. Having loads to lighting effects looks cool but it does these. 1) more ampere drawn from PSU. 2) more heat generating inside your case 3) too much IRQ conflict with different controllers, which may cause irresponsive controls. 4) Making your pc to run with more unnecessary background task.

Hi Ares, welcome to my channel, it should not be a problem as each output can cater for 4 fan max which is at 2.6a, the power drawn from the uni controller is directly from the PSU, same goes to the strimer controller. so long you have these two controllers plug directly from PSU sata to these controller and please make sure that the SL fans are connected to the uni controller output (4 fan max), same goes to your strimer plus, make sure they are plug to the strimer controller. you will be fine.

@@alexianaixela I see, I've gone through that vid, all argb are activated on all SL fans, galahad and strimer plus. Else the ST120 that comes with the radiator are not activated. you can do it with this illustration, download them and try to understand which cable to which cable. imgur.com/gallery/beYR8CN by the way I will not advise you to do push pull configuration on the radiator with different fans. It's bad to configure it that way, reason being, different fans have different build as 8in the pressure static. This will cause unnecessary turbulence and noise. Also yes it looks nice. looks powerful but it's not practically useless as your radiator is 38mm thick. if you configure that way. it will only drop 1 to 2 degrees most, so why waste the current from the PSU on 3 sets of additional fans which does not really perform. That's my opinion and of course, the choice is yours. If you really wanted to configure that way. This video is great exactly what I needed, quick question though - is it possible to connect 2 sets of 3 ST120s to the hub without the AIO? Is there also a way to sync up the RGB strip from my XL dynamic?
Hello Adam Thomspon, welcome to my channel. Yes all are possible, you will need fan splitters and the argb converters to your ST 120 fans, same apply to your XL strips. I will start off with the XL strips. in your case where there is a box where it connects to your case argb strip, at the end there is a standard argb connector which you can plug to your motherboard. Use that to plug to your uni controller, you will need a convertor to do so ( 1 TO 1 Female 5V 3pin - www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001598378033.html ) . now as for your ST120 Fans, for fan load, you will need a fan splitter that goes 3 to 1 ( www.amazon.com/Splitter-Computer-Extension-Converter-TeamProfitcom/dp/B07F8LV1BY/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=fan+splitter&qid=1613349241&sr=8-4 ) . Now as for the argb connector, this will be abit tricky. if you can find a splitter that can converts a 4 pin to 3 pin argb cable, you should be able to plug to your uni controller. However the problem is, I can't seems to find that cable for purchase. You might need to do some crimping, let me see if I can show you this weekend. I will do up a video to show you on this. Unless I can combine a set of fan and the Strimer cables into one of the RGB slot on the fan controller. Hi Jin, welcome to my channel and thank you for your compliment. for 4 sets of fans (3 to each set) I will not advise you to run more argb component with just one uni controller. there is a limitation on both SL or AL uni controller. You might want to go through this video on the dos and donts about the uni controller ua-cam.com/video/QQHJUQvKwlY/v-deo.html Once you know what's it's limitation, I adivse you to use two SL uni controllers along with an additional internal usb hub splitter from NZXT - nzxt.com/product/internal-usb-hub-gen-3 .Next you will need to do a firmware on both your SL uni controller and to make use of the L-Connect Version 2.0. All instructions are shown in this video, including the NZXT Internal USB hub. ua-cam.com/video/hZpzR_4917c/v-deo.html Now your motherboard might have another usb 2.0 header, you might not want to use the NZXT internal hub, but it's better to play safe than sorry. It happened to one of my friend's build. I've done up everything for him with accurate calculations, but he gone too greedy, he included a full set of strimmer plus (24pin + 2 x dual 8pin) and added more argb strip, using the argb splitter together with 4 SL fans to one output of the uni controller. The load is too much, he ended up melting the uni controller cables and the usb 2.0 header on his motherboard. Hi Twistedf8, welcome to my channel and thank you for the compliment. you might want to check if your fans are set to PWM in your UEFI and this video might aid you to understand how the L-Connect works. ua-cam.com/video/Rm2emeyMUAk/v-deo.html , which you can control the PWM without switching to motherboard mode in L-Connect app. If you switch the L-Connect app to motherboard mode. you will need to use the motherboard to control the aRGB effects too. there is another way which most will choose as they can set the individual PWM curve on each set of fans, that is to leave the fan argb connected to the uni controller and directly plug the fans pwm at the motherboard fan header.

Hello KevTheBlackFox, welcome to my channel, yes you can do that not an issue. just a tip. if you intend to swap out those radiator fans with the AL or SL fans. let the uni controller controls the argb effect and plug your AL or SL rad fans 4 pin connector directly to the motherboard to CPU_FAN1. as some motherboard have warning detectors when fans that are connected to header CPU_FAN1 or CPU_FAN2/W_Pump. this is to play safe. Hope you understand what I mean.. same goes to your Galahad AIO , let the uni controller controls the lighting effects and the pump header directly to CPU_FAN2/W_Pump header.

I have the Galahad SL series AIO, Strimers, LED diffuser, and AL fans.
(separate from the UniFan SL Controller)
thank you
Hi Eduardus Pribadi, welcome to my channel.
(separate from the UniFan SL Controller)
A3. Besides additional uni controller, you will need to have an additional USB socket on your motherboard and you will need to run the L-Connect 2 application.
hope all these answered your question. thank you!

2.) Can I daisy chain a single AL 120 with a triple AL 120 and put that on one channel from the controller for RGB and PWM? \
Thank you for your help and expertise!
hello LunaChop, welcome to my channel. I will answer your questions as follow :
Q1) You combined the AIO pump and fan RGB into the controller, but only the fan PWM went into the controller, does the pump PWM still go to the motherboard?

I had some questions I think would be awesome if you could dive into:
1) is it possible to set the AIO fans to sync as needed to the CPU Temps?
Hi Chris Xavier, welcome to my channel, I did notice your questions when you posted them 7 hours ago but I am at work. unable to answer you in detials. now if you are getting the argb cable kit, this is just a diagram guide imgur.com/gallery/beYR8CN. now to answer your questions
A1) you are able to but you will need to load the L-connect with the settings loaded.

Hello KEZZIE, welcome to my channel. Hello S C, welcome to my channel. Nope you do not need my self crimp converter. Follow this. This is just a guideline imgur.com/gallery/beYR8CN
@@KleoYan Thank you for the quick reply and for providing the link to the quick guide
So from my understanding, I should be fine to connect it all with the ARGB Cable Kit
- I would connect the 2 x strimer cables to the provided controller and then into the uni controller Port 1 with the cable kit converter.
- I would then connect the galahad pump and 1 x 3 set UNIFANs (AIO and top Exhaust) with the provided daisy chain cable and then use a converter from the cable kit into the uni controller port 2
- Then I could just plug 1 x 3 Unifan (bottom intake) to port 3
- Lastly I would need to use the provided splitter for the 3 STI fans from the Galahad AIO for the 3 ARGB into 1 and plug into Uni controller port 4 ARGG and then use the provided 3 head fan splitter direct into the Uni controller port 4 Fan. (2 fans on side intake and 1 fan on rear)

Thank you!
hi Austin Boil, just for your info, I am not using an Asustek board but a ASrock board. as for Fan in your bios, I will set to PWM mode and set the curve there. so when you use your L-Connect application. you can select PWM. the same video will give you a better idea on how it works. ua-cam.com/video/Rm2emeyMUAk/v-deo.html , if you ever need clarification, do let me know we can always communicate througth teams or zoom or etc.. will be glad to aid you, but during the weekdays am busy at work. it will be best to do it during the weekends. thank you!

Hello HustlerKid, welcome to my channel. As what I see, you need 1 controller do to the trick. I assume your Strimer Plus are not the V2. let me break it down for you
For SL Infinity Fans
3 Top fans + 1 rear fans, using the merge link cables between these fans, then connect it to Port 1 of the SL Inf Uni hub
3 bottom fans connected to Port 2 of the SL Inf Uni Hub
3 fans (Which I have no idea where they are mounted) to Port 2 of the SL Inf Uni Hub
For SL 140
2 fans plug only the ARGB to Sync 2 of the SL Inf Uni Hub (the effects will follow Port 2) and the fan pwm cables directly to your motherboard fan header (PWM is controll by your motherboard utility
Strimer Plus
all strips are to plug to the strimer plus controller, then the cable that goes to the motherboard ARGB header, plug it to Sync 4 of the SL Inf Uni Hub (ARGB effects will follow Port 4)
hope that answer your question.

1) Lian-Li USB 2.0 1-to-3 HUB
2) Lian Li ARGB Kit
Method to plug
1) Plug the Lian-Li USB 2.0 1-to-3 Hub to the motherboard USB Header (either Port 1 or 2)
1) Connect the Sata cable to the connector of your SL Inf Controller sata connector, Connect the USB cable from SL Inf Controller to the Lian-Li USB 2.0 1-to-3 Hub
2) Plug you SL Inf fans (ARGB & PWM) to the controller (occupied only 3 ports, example Port 1 to 3)
3) Connect USB Cable from the Galahad AIO pump to the Lian-Li USB 2.0 1-to-3 Hub
4) Connect USB Cable from the Strimer plus V2 controller to the Lian-Li USB 2.0 1-to-3 Hub
5) Connect your strimer plus v2 strips to the Strimer plus V2 controller
6) Plug the case sata to your PSU sata cable
7) Plug the case argb 3pin to convert it with the Lian Li argb kit which labled Y-Type 3P Signal Cable of the official website lian-li.com/product/argb_cable_kit/, then the other end to your SL-Inf controller port
make sure to set your case to bypass the case button and to sync to motherboard, which in this case is pointing to your SL-Inf Controller. Then you can make use of L-Connect 3 app to control all the argb effects.

As for your idea to connect multiple hub and other brand controllers. I do not encourage you to do so. These are the reason.

I've followed the steps exactly, however only the pump works, the fans don't spin and only the RGB of the strimers light.
Using LConnect, I can see the 4 groups, but it had no effect.
Additionally, the only variation would be the adapter cable - the one that comes with the kit has 2 ends, which I've only used one each.
I've tried just setting the galahad and it's rad fans to '1' and disconnecting the other items, but the same problem persists.

Hi Jeff Hannan, welcome to my channel and you are right. You can use other argb fans so long each of those fans does not have a argb load beyond 0.65 and to daisy chain more than 4 to a output of the uni controller. Now as I have shown here with nothing else. My bad, I was thinking interns of the L-Connect argb patterns as other fans is unlike the SL or AL fans which is able to do individual argb effect colors, else other fans will just follow the left overs which at lian Li productions. Hi aminul hoque. welcome to my channel. just for your info, you do not need that cable if you only to controll the fans RPM. you can directly plug the fan connector of the SL fans directly to the motherboard and to use the motherboad to control the RPMs instead. but if you do need that cable, am sorry that you will need to contact lian li directly as ask if they are able to supply you or sell you a separate cable.

Unless I can combine a set of fan and the Strimer cables into one of the RGB slot on the fan controller. Assuming I only use the fan controller for RGB; pump & fan headers are directly connected to the motherboard.
Hi Jin, welcome to my channel and thank you for your compliment. for 4 sets of fans (3 to each set) I will not advise you to run more argb component with just one uni controller. there is a limitation on both SL or AL uni controller. Once you know what's it's limitation, I adivse you to use two SL uni controllers along with an additional internal usb hub splitter from NZXT - nzxt.com/product/internal-usb-hub-gen-3 .Next you will need to do a firmware on both your SL uni controller and to make use of the L-Connect Version 2.0. All instructions are shown in this video, including the NZXT Internal USB hub. ua-cam.com/video/hZpzR_4917c/v-deo.html
Now your motherboard might have another usb 2.0 header, you might not want to use the NZXT internal hub, but it's better to play safe than sorry. Hi Bill Aegerter, welcome to my channel. yes you can by using L-Connect 2 which I've done an overview ua-cam.com/video/9A-Jw9aEjmI/v-deo.html and two other videos ua-cam.com/video/hZpzR_4917c/v-deo.html & ua-cam.com/video/1n1mo6TDwvY/v-deo.html and if you've not realized, this video was created before L-Connect 2 was released by Lian Li. Thank you for your feedback and to have visited my channel.
If i have uni controller and i connect top fans 1 slot, bottom 2 slot, side 3 slot can i connect strimmer & back fan splitter wire to last 4 slot in uni connector? Will it work?
HI JV Ritola, welcome to my channel. I would daisy chain the rear fan with a splitter to either the top or bottom fans. Let your strimmer plus to have one dedicated slot. This diagram will illustrate what I meant imgur.com/gallery/beYR8CN . Once again thank you to have visit my channel and all the best in your build.

Hi Tony Lou, do pardon me for the late reply. in this content I am using the non v2 fans. the v2 are at thickness of 28mm and the radiator screws should measure 30mm in height. Though the V2 are at 28mm in height but you should be able to use the 30mm length rad screws of your Ryujin liquid AIO. maybe do some measurements if it's of non 30mm. you might need to get 30mm radiator screws www.amazon.co.uk/iplusmile-Stainless-Computer-Cooling-Radiator/dp/B09ZPRMGL2/ref=sr_1_20?crid=3A68N3E2SR7MC&keywords=radiator+screws+pc&qid=1699434025&sprefix=radiator+screws%2Caps%2C220&sr=8-20
Hey Kleo, thank you for this video. It helped me to set up Galahad+ 2x3 Uni fans+Strimmer cables into one Uni controller. I have a question about connecting O11 XL Front LED Light Stripes to the Strimmer Controller. I connected using the cable provided to the 3rd connection spot on the Strimmer controller but it is not working unfortunately. Can you explain to me exact connections that's needed from the case to the Strimmer controller? Thanks!
Hi Ninipiggy, welcome to my channel. all is needed is to connect the argb cable from the O11D XL control box which is located near the center pillar where cable management is done. then on your XL front panel, press and hold on the argb switch for 3 seconds, it will switch mode to take command from your strimer plus controller. Do remember to apply the same on your Strimer plus controller (hold 3 seconds on M1 till it takes instruction from the L-Connect).
will the uni fan controller work with other brand of AIO argbs?
Hi Lau Kyle, welcome to my channel. so long it's argb 5v and you have the convertor JST cable and it's below 2.6a of current drawn. you will be able to connect and to control.
If I have 9 AL120 fans and a Galahad 360. Can I connect the 3 uni fan adapters and the 2 cables form the Galahad to the controller that came with 3 pack unifans?
Hi Jason Deblou, welcome to my channel. maybe you can tell me your setup. example
Top 3 x Uni fan
Bottom 3 x Uni fan
Front 3 x Uni fan on AIO radiator
Rear ??
by the way what case are you using?
@@KleoYan 3x top, 3x side 3x bottom. O11 dynamic. I think I'm not able to control the fan speed if I connect the aio pump cable to the controller. So I'm thinking to plug the aio pump cable in the mobo ( strix x570 e gaming) and the argb cable in one of the groups separately in the controller.
@@jasondeblou6226 Hi, base on what you have mentioned. this is how it should be
Output 1 = 3 x fan top (both argb + fan load)
Output 2 = 3 x fan side (both argb + fan load)
Output 3 = 3 x fan bottom (both argb + fan load)
Output 4 = only argb for galahad pump, the pump load goes to the motherboard.
so I plugged everything in but the block for my Galahad is just staying white not changing colors with the fans???
Hello Houston Slade, welcome to my channel. You might want to recheck your connection of the AIO pump or to test it alone with the AIO argb controller first. just to make sure that it does change color.. need to do some troubleshooting.
Hey I did it bud and all most burn my house down lol it was my fault I put my strimmers and 10 al120 fans on the hub plus the lights on the front off the case and I did not notice that when you

Hi. Can you tell me what is the HUB or controller called that is connected to strimmer please?
Seems to look different and I can not find it anywhere on the internet.
I will be starting to build a PC with 10 unifans, strimmer, 8 pin Lian li rgb, Galahad 360 with unifans and I am a bit worried that it will not sync all together.
Ok I see now. It is a strimmer PLUS that does have this hub.
Hi BooYaa253, welcome to my channel and pardon me for the late reply. Yup that's correct it's the strimer plus controller when you purchase the strimer plus 24 pin cable or the combo set.
Hey Kleo,
I just received two 140mm uni Fans for the front-side of my o11 mini. I have to say I find them to be louder than I hoped for. There is always this hum.
But that just means I don't find them to be really silent. They are still no loud fans I think.
Monday two Noctua nf-a14 will arrive. If the sound is much better I will keep those instead of the uni fans.
Btw if this kind of excludes the uni fans from my silent choice of fans I will be testing the probably most scientific (RGB )Fan out there: noiseblocker eLoop. This one could be interesting for your channel, too. Maybe they will send you some of you text them
Hello M.. thank you for the suggestion. to be honest. most of the equipment I reviewed indepth are not sponsored.. they are either from my friends or I bought myself.. I did try writing to various vendors like lian li, phanteks, NZXT and such, no reply. I believe my channel is small that's why, but I will try writting to noiseblocker eLoop to see if they can sponsor some fans. If not lets see if I can get hold of those fans..
@@KleoYan It would be a shame for noiseblocker if they wouldn´t see the opportunity. your channel is still quite small but the content niveau is absolutely great. Also there aren´t many good reviews on youtube about the eloops.

Such an amazing detailed video
Welcome to my channel Green Machine and thank you for your feedback 👍
This is a very informative video, as someone who's building his first PC with RGB and AIOs this is helpful as the last time I built one was when the RGB craze wasn't present. I do have a question though, I am planning to replace the Gallahad AIO's fans with 3 daisy-chained SL 120s that since the SL120 has a unique daisy chain function I should not need to use the cable at 2:26 and just use the cable at 3:04 to connect the Galahad's ARGB with the fans am I correct?
Hi no2study, welcome to my channel. Nope you don’t need either both cables. The SL120 is using 3pin jst connector and the Galahad pump is using that too. You will need to plug the fans to one output of the uni controller and the pump argb cable to another output of the uni controller.
@@KleoYan Oh I also have other fans that I will plug into the controller, I went all out and got 10 SL 120 uni fans. So I was wondering how I should set them all up in one controller unless I just plug the SL120 AIO fans I'll use to CPU header and then the remote on the Cha_Fan with the remaining fans
@@no2study I see, if you are all out with 10 fans.. if possible get the lian li argb kit. I am not sure which case you are using, I am assuming this and below is just a illustration.
O11D XL case
Uni Controller Output 1 = Galahad argb connector (the pump connector goes to motherboard fan header)
Uni Controller Output 2 = Side fan x 3
Uni Controller Output 3 = Bottom fan x 3 on Galahad Radiator
Uni Controller Output 4 = Top fan x 3 + Rear fan x 1 (you will need a Y-Splitter for fan and for argb)
if you are getting the lian li argb cable kit, this might help you. imgur.com/gallery/beYR8CN
if you are not getting the lian li argb cable kit, this is what you need.

@@KleoYan Yes I am using the O11D XL case and I did get the ARGB kit from Lian Li too. So in the picture which cables should I use for chaining the 4 fans? I am assuming cable A on the photo which is the Fan Y cable and Cable D for the RGB?
And as for the remote do you suggest me plugging it on CPU_OPT fan header or CHA_FAN?
@@no2study Yes correct. the argb cable kit connector A is fan splitter and D cable is argb.
Why do i need an ARGB cable if the fans/AIo can connect to the controller directly? I'm lost!
Hello MrYodi2007, welcome to my channel. If you only have the AIO and 3 x SL120 fans. sure you can do that. but if you going to plug more lian li products there are only four output on the uni controller.
Can I daisy chain the case led strip with both strimers into the unicontroller? Case is o11 dynamic xl black. It has a small rgb hub with sata power for the front panel led strip
Thanks.
Hi Alvin, I believe you can do that, but you will need the strimer controller. if you notice the Strimer controller, one is for sata , one is for argb cable to the motherboard, which I have shown you here, to be plug to the uni controller. now see the last plug of the strimer controller, you can plug the XL argb cable to the strimer controller. once done, you will need to press on your case argb button to set it to motherboard mode. I don't have a case but I have done that for a friend which works. you will need to figure it out on the connection. I would advise you to head down to lian li official website and look for info or even on their official youtube channel ua-cam.com/users/thelianlicase on this. thank you!
Thank you, I did not realize that third slot was an input. Thanks for your videos and your help.
6:05 I don’t have mobo strimer but only gpu one so I don’t have the controller for strimer cables.
Can I plug in directly to the other controller with that white cable ?
Hi Robertorgg, welcome to my channel. It's not advisable to connect the strimer plus to the uni controll, unless you are have the uni controller V2. (SL120 V2, AL120 V2 or even then SL-INF-120) . it's must advisable to plug the GPU strimer plus to your motherboard or if you fancy more argb effects, get the strimer plus V2 controller from Lian Li's offical store at aliexpress www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004239607087.html
@@KleoYan otherwise if I don’t mind losing some effects on the strimer cable can I link the controller only via USB and the strimer cable via 3pin 5V ?
Will it work ?
@@robertorgg137 Yup, that will work. pump and fans (SL-Inf-120) on uni controller via USB 2.0 to control the effects. GPU Strimer plus on motherboard argb header. this will work but as for the reverse fans which you've mentioned on my other content. I have no idea how the reverse fans are connected.
what about the lian li lancool 2 leds?
Hi post-buttwave, pardon me I miss your question, about the Lian Li Lancool 2 leds, are you referring to the argb strips? you connect that to the Strimer plus controller. there is a third socket with is meant for that. you might want to check your strimer plus manual and sorry again to have miss your question.
Hey Kleo,
Can I connect 2 uni fan hub and control it via software?
Hi FTXKSA, pardon me for the late reply and welcome to my channel. For the moment you can't. So can i swap out the st120 fans on the radiator for AL120s or SL120s for a cleaner daisy chain?
