When did praise songs adopt the consistant tom beats with crashes, punctuated by the occasional snare. Wasn't like that when I was growing up, or in the 90s, when I got saved. So when did it start. What's it conjuring up, the world or the Holy Spirit? As Christians we need to know, an be aware of this phenomena, instead of accepting it blindly...
With all due respect, if this was already like this in the time you got saved, would it be okay? I think you are mixing different styles with what is anointed or not. The style you like is also based on the styles of back then. The anointing is not in the style, but in the heart and mind of those who play, sing and minister.
