Camryn Harvey omgshhh you’re too kind thank you so much for watching and being apart of my UA-cam fam 😍😭🥰 I definitely will. Especially for you!! 🤍🤍🤍 anything you looking for in particular?
I will absolutely be using these tips for my interview next week!! They make me soo nervous, especially when it’s a job I really want. I love the tips about showing your uniqueness, and showing your passionate and actually really want the job- seems so basic but I feel like it can be so easy to forget to just simply show them how much you want the job. Thanks so much for the tips 🥰🥰
Em ahhhh I can’t wait to hear how it goes and what questions they ask you 👀 I know, we’re all human and have nerves but you got this!!! Yeah lots of people forget that you just have to show you want it! 😊 of course thank you for watching 😍😍😍
All of these are such good tips!! It's SO important to research the company that you're applying to, I've seen people wing it and it has not turned out well 😂
Ahhh thanks Shalini!! Your support means a lot, knowing you I’m sure you rock them interviews! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Yeahhh, winging it isn’t best and I definitely don’t suggest! 😋
Love this! So many people don’t take interviews serious enough or do any research. I’ve always been a way over preparer for interviews because I hate them. They are the worst! 😂 I usually do okay but, literally the worst! Lol
Right? Some people just wing it (hehe your name) or just go in thinking they got this in the bag, when really you do need to prepare and think about what they may ask you! Haha. Interviews ARE THE WORST. They’re scary, intimidating.. but can be alleviated with research and preparedness hehe. I know you do great because your personality is great 😉
lolgeselle I will literally google, interview questions for “blah blah blah” and I’ll look a company up on Glassdoor and look at the commonly asked questions for that position I’m applying too. It’s very helpful. Doesn’t always have a lot on Glassdoor but definitely my go to when preparing for an interview. But that seems like ages ago🤪😂
lolgeselle ahhhh yesss you have to check out Glassdoor.com. It’s literally SO helpful. There are also reviews of the company itself and what it’s like working there. Literally so helpful for professional guidance!

Hi, I’ve been watching your videos and it’s nice to see how excited you are about this career. Good job on all your videos. I have a question..... Can you show an example of a write up on a report . Maybe show a mock ultrasound scan and a paper report that would go with it. This would be a big help. Thanks. Kat
Hey Kathleen, thank you for watching my videos. I just really enjoy what I do, so I appreciate you seeing my enthusiasm with the field. It's a passion of mine, but also a career that's challenging and I still constantly learn every single day. I'll do my best with coming up with a video for you. Are you a student or aspiring sonographer?
@@lolgeselle So Geselle , I'm a Registered Dental Hygienist who decided to change my career to a sonographer. I'm graduating in Feb. 2021 and really excited like you. I looked into being a traveling Sonographer and it looks very exciting. I really changed my career so I could practice in Ireland without no problems and extra studying. If you don't mind me asking what state are you from? Thank you for responding and will keep following you. :) Kat.
Kathleen O’shea, that’s awesome so nice to meet you!! Happy you made the switch and are excited!! Oh yes I hear great things about travel techs, definitely a fun thing for you to experience! @@lolgeselle So ,I grew up in Ireland and visit every year. I researched it over there and alot of Dr.'s do ultrasound but the do have schools that offer the program so they must have medical sonographers too. :) I'm based in NY and traveled to Las Vegas NV. very hot!! For students starting out what is the pay and is there alot of full time? NY pays $34. hr and they have alot of Diagnostic centes (zwanger & Perseri) places that do ultrasounds , CT, MRI all day. I would like to do Abdomen and small parts. What would you recommend as far as getting my certificate? I really don't want GYNO. I'm doing PHY's and was interesting in knowing if going over all PHYs test questions is a good way of studying for the exam?
@@kathleenoshea9094 that’s so amazing! I’d love to visit Ireland one day! And yeah most other countries doctors do the exams but I’m glad there are sonographers needed there too!! I’d say you’d need to go through a general track or program. Then you’ll take ultrasound physics and should sit in for the ARDMS abdomen board exam! You can do it! 👏🏽 If you don’t want to do GYN you’ll have to find a clinic or doctors office that doesn’t do GYN because pretty much all hospitals will have GYN exams. Hi Geselle, Thank you for this video. I have an interview coming up and would like to know what kinds of questions should I ask. One I always ask is, "What's the most important thing I can do to help within the first 90 days in this role? "Are there any incentives or reimbursement for ongoing education, CME's etc?" I don't want to sound like a broken record.. Are there any you can help me add that stand out for this job? Or is asking about reimbursement sound needy? Advice please. Much appreciated! :)
Hi Rosie!! Those are great questions to ask! It doesn't sound needy as you are just asking what the job can offer you as well! You will be an asset to their team and just want to know any benefits that they offer! Definitely show them your passion, what it is that makes you a hard worker and suitable for their place of work, and make sure they know off the bat what exams you like to scan and what registries you have and will get in the future! I hope this helps!
