Nostalgia is a strong drug i see it in these comments
Just been looking on the Mini configurator UK and as standard pack 1 free it comes pretty well equipped. Pack 2 approx £2500 it comes with alot of options and pack 3 is.....well 5 grand😮
Expensive, I know
I really liked the size of the previous Gen Countryman. Just right for a personal SUV. But I get it, there's a demand for a family SUV, so they needed more space. Hopefully the new Aceman can fill the void for a compact personal SUV.
The ACEMAN will fill that void
it looks fine 2 me🤷🏾, just wanna know if there's a switcheroo for that interior fabric?
No. Just different colors
😢
Is the radiant silver more gold or silver? Hard to tell in photos.
More silver
Its like a slightly champagne gold mixed with silver so I call it a champagne silver colour
Been looking for a new car for 2 years to swap my 2018 mini hatch (cooper s). Was hoping mini would go back to analogue dials so id have something to buy. This thing isnt just a disappointment in that regard its a disaster.
The dash/interior is shockingly bad. Taking a few of the Issigonis dash shapes is a good idea but that thing is vile in execution.
Theres been several years of people rightly moaning about buttons being better along with studies proving theyre faster to operate. Mini/bmw have completely ignored the data and rammed in a cheap oled touch screen.
The lack of proper analogue dials puts people with astigmatisms off (15% of adults have them) because screens suck for night driving. Not to mention the screens input lag is off-putting to some people (i fit in both groups). Going oled makes that even worse. Then theres the oled screen burn turning it into a service part (yay e waste). Collimators/huds are just the same as screens in that regard.
The lights look like they came from a suzuki parts bin. Lack of fogs is meh. The whole the fogs are in the headlight thing is bs. Fogs need to be low to be effective.
Rear end isn't great. Ride hight looks lower than what its replacing. makes it look like a confused "crossover" that if it ever saw a camping site it would bottom out.
The ms office clippy clone will annoy the ever living shit out of people for no reason.
The design and marketing team that made the decisions needs to go.
Minis are supposed to be well thought out space conscious car. Fun with good performance for a decent price. The design teams completely ignored that. Plus the paceman needs to return.
Is it full electric ?
This one is gasoline
What do you think of the new MINI Countryman JCW?
It looks like a Chinese copy of a Countryman JCW so not good
I love it I know people don't get it but I do he said It best adding a new character to the Mini line up, If you like your old car and keep that shit, other people need new characters.
Sorry, from my view ugly. Overdesigned(overloaded) on the outside, boring on the inside. I can't find any words for the headlights. You don't need designers for something like this. Sir Alec Issigonis would be spinning in his grave. For me MINI is a dying brand because more and more typical MINI features are being thrown out (and I used to love this brand and drove two myself...R50 and R56).
Ugly oversized monsters that John Cooper would have hated, as I do.
A car guy that wears pants like those is not to be trusted.
Why?
I understand the evolution and Love it ❤ i had a 2017 Countryman S and have a 4 Door S. I wouldn't drive any other Brand then Mini now i think this is my level of Maturity for the segment i need. Lol like a fast baby Range Rover respectfully!!
It does look like a baby Range Rover which is good. I like the bigger size too. More practical.
Mini keeps losing its identity with each new generation.
I hear you but also the customers changed. Lots of them want a big MINI crossover
@@SashacontraI fully agree..
Countryman was easily recognisable and this has nothing to do with size...
Chinese and Koreans are obsessed with range rover design language and this doesn't help this countryman stand out as a mini...
It looks like a Korean knock off of range rover... 😂
