I've been watching ur videos for years and learn so much about 3s and 5s engines...I've owned 9 different mr2s from 5s na to gen3 3sgtes and always wanted a 5sgte in one of my mr2s just cause I want wat came on the mr2s never cared so much about K series just never had the funds to build one but I know one day I will own a 5sgte thank u so much and keep Making great content

With that kind of shim setup you have to pull the cams each time you want to adjust the valve lash correct?
Instead of the typical Toyota bucket setup where you can use an sst with the cam installed to change the shims
yes you have to pull the cam to adjust lash, once its set, it pretty much stays consistent
I am building a 3TC is 40 mm over q is what’s a good size cam for it , is for the street ?. 272 , 284 ,296 ,308 .
If its street 284 would be good, max is 292
Brandon what's so special on the gen 1 head? Doesn't the beams head flow better?
No. Big ports.
Beams is a baddasss head just to difficult to get parts for or even a spare head

What kind of connecting rods are there and pistons on 5sgte that produced a power of 800 forces?
It has Brian crower rods and custom pistons that we make

I'm super curious on what 5s block you are running. I'm thinking of doing a 2.2 for my 5hh gen.
We use the 99-01 blocks from a camry or solara
@@psiracing Is there a difference between the 98 and 99-01 5S blocks??
@@NativeTexMexican junkyards will say 98-01 are the same. our preference is we just like to use the newest block possible
I've always tot the 3s/5s combo is to make use of the extra stroke of the 5s crank, so wat magic ur doing keeping the 3s crank in a 5s block?
Stronger, thicker block.
Exactly like what TM said. Its not always about the stroke but ease of the build and reliability

@@psiracing I have a celica 92 with a 3sge gen2, I would like to see if I can build and have more Hp 300 or more as a daily driver. but in reality only Friday to Sunday, track and some light racing.

ive seen these boys run 1000 plus on the 3sgte

The 2nd gen 3s block unfortunately cannot hold to much power, you can definitely email us and we can go over cost. psiracing@aol.com
