Excellent review, as always. Was blown away with Anubis and Salome, her work really leaves a lot to be desired from most niche houses. Love the perfumer interviews, definitely looking forward to having Liz back on the channel.

Very interesting review Rams. All of the Liz Moore’s perfumes have been a super hit in my collection. Anubis is one of the best leather I’ve tried.

I had a similar experience. I love leather fragrances and had imagined Epona would be very different. On smelling Epona I had an image of a dressage horse that takes frequent baths in a grand estate in the English countryside with gardens allowed to run a little wild. Like luxury softened by the country setting. There is a cade-like note that appears for a bit that isn't my favorite, but it goes through so many beautiful progressions.
Yes it has definitely grown on me and I would love a bottle one day 💪🦋🐏

This sounds incredible. I love Papillon for the quality and style of fragrances and Liz herself seems like a lovely person( really enjoyed your interview with her). My favorites from the brand are Hera and Bengale Rouge, I can't wait to try Epona when it's going to be available. Cheers!
After August 1st when Epona drops I wanted to give it a week or two and then have her back on the channel ... probably middle of August sometime 🤌🤌🤌

I love Tabac Taboo. The opening is just wonderful. On my skin, The dry-down becomes overly floral.
Not that that's a bad thing, but after the opening, well, I wish it would stay a little longer.
I did pick up a couple of PdE from joma. Very happy.
I will get my nose on Epona. I only have Anibus which I very much enjoy.
I would like to get Tobacco Rose from Liz.
Hopefully, she does come back for another Live Chat Episode.

Finally got my sample of Diaghilev in! Still going strong almost 12 hours later.
Not sure how i like it so far. Didnt get any citruses in the opening for some reason, but I’ve been loving the dry down. Gonna keep testing this one over the next few weeks.

@@RamseytheRamwore Diaghilev Sunday my tshirt smelled so good on Monday I wore it again all day and night . Diaghilev is the best fragrance in my collection hands down .
Finally 🎉 was waiting for this one, also I was wrong about Sacred scarab the day after 10+ hours in you get the civet so I bought it 🐏
I will review Sacred Scarab soon... I think it's one of the best from Zoologist... so unique 🪲

Just bought a bottle of Dryad and love her work. Salome is too much of a Hyraceum bomb for me but I think all of her work evokes sensuality and all of them nod to a vintage, dusty feeling of old perfumes. Ps. Anubis is my favourite.

Sounds very interesting Rams , I was sold on the Zing comparison and add to it a touch of Cuir de Russie , now I get it , it’s not either of them but merely the vibe and scent memory association which is probably a good thing as it lends the wearer time to appreciate the many other facets which are present and shine through to the nose , so yeah it’s a definite buy for me in August 😊great vid and I can see what you were expecting and the initial reaction not so good but it’s still a fantastic perfume by your review and doesn’t need to clone itself on past glories but rather maybe bring them kicking and screaming into 2024 as Liz is so capable of doing 👍 Have a good one man ,much appreciated 👌🙏👍

Morning Ramsey, Indonesia time ! the question : have you ever been cheated on the parfum vintages you bought , the fake ones , blind buy or something .....how do you handle it if you wanna make sure it's real or fake when you do not even anything to be compared ? cause you know , fake could happen long long time ago😂😂 and NOWDAYS sh**t (sorry) happens increasingly sophisticated if we are not careful...thank u...
@@toeantjemani I bought a fake Chanel once.. Ebay refunded me without any problems... usually the fakes are Chanel and Creed and Tom Fords ...not some obscure vintage frag from 30 years ago
