Hello everyone! In this video i will show you how to disassembe and clean Lexmark 50F0Z00 Imaging Unit. It contains OPC Drum, and Developer Unit.

Hello , can i ask what is the liquid you use on the rag to clean the black cilinder at 12:13 ? Is it just water ?

It is a windows and glass cleaner.

Interesting. Would this help with vertical white lines? I have an old MX317dn, and the imaging unit was more than buying a new printer. Seems like a waste to just toss the printer though.

Yes, it will help.

By replacing the drum cleaning blade at 8:09 you can solve the white vertical lines problem, it's that metal plate held in place by 4 screws. It costs 5 US dollars or so.

Nice to greet you friend, reload the imaging unit and the printer gives error 31.60, why is this error?

Remove the toner cartridge and imaging unit and look at the top, right area inside the printer. You should see a set of four metal pins. They must be in straight line! Hope that helps!

You just need to change the chip on the imaging unit.

The printer posts an error code 33.xy - Non?Lexmark [supply type], where “xy” denotes the type of Lexmark supply (i.e., 33.01 for Toner and 33.02 for Imaging unit)

There are particles in this toner that cannot pass between the developer roller and the blade. That's why I'm throwing it away.

Be careful. I personally use a fairly powerful aspiration that takes everything outside the room in a nano filter.
