Took my parents here about 10 years ago. I had never been either. This is one of THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN THE COUNTRY!!! Period!!! Know the menu before you book. Everything is Superb. Service, Food, experience. It is full of life, great food, and memories for life.
My father passed a few months ago and she said that the HOPR was one of his favorite dining experiences of all time.
    Nuff said.
Parking can be tricky as SF has many lots so check it out before hand.

Lmao you record your video on your dads birthday instead of letting him enjoy your company

My 90 year old grandmother makes amazing sourdough bread. I'm 39 and been eating it all my life.

Put the camera down, wish your dad Happy Birthday, and smile. You are there to honor your father. Parents live through their children and grandchildren at his age. I bet you looking ecstatic to be at his side would be a better gift to him than the best steak, and certainly more important than your subscriber count.

It’s a thick cut, I like how it includes the bone… but the side cab was so small :( the best part was like non existent :(

Exactly, how can the person not see that? big deal, an expensive bone. Im sure the meat was delicious, just not cost worthy

Just love the way you struggle with knife and fork. Look at your Dad and learn how to hold a fork properly.

Well the bone looks huge, but the meat attached to it? Not so much. Its amazing what a big bone can convince someone of..... Not me, Im a realist. Dont get me wrong, I like to chew on a good meaty bone, but I dont want to pay that much for one.

Total “knock off” of the original Lowery’s the Prime Rib, in Southern California. Total imitation, right down to the “spinning salad bowl” and the “stainless steel serving carts” where the meat is carved table side, and exactly the same side dishes are added to warm dinner plates. Same “big bill” too.

      House is the OG

@@stephenjeung There's no denying that this was 100% a copy of Lowery's, so not Original at all...

Just because something is original doesn’t mean it’s better. 1939 to 1949 is not fat off.
