Sorry MLB, my boy Jomboy Media already got to it first :)
Also Contreras can be a hothead at times
Also Also Frenchy’s commentary was GOLD
Hi. We are both jomboy subscribers. What is your favorite baseball prosititon?
Aries Radke#6 any
@@ariesradke6193 my favorite baseball prostitution is when greg gibson the home plate umpire motions to both players
wow yesssss
Contreras isn't a hothead, I watch him play almost everyday. He's a really great guy.
Puig not even there but he'd probably want to fight
somewhere in Cincy there is a reds player holding him back
He would get someone to hold him back and then act like he really wanted to fight
Bro his fists and fingers would be ready in Cinnci. That dude is waiting when there is a chance
The Scrubs players are bunch of show off not just Contreas plus you got the shortstop Baez that likes to show off when he hit home runs especially when he showed up Amir Garrett during a game vs the Reds. Speaking of the Reds I wouldn't be surprised if the Reds could after the Cubs because the history of brawls those two teams had through the years especially with Mario Soto going after most of the Scrubs players.
neubrain11 no that’s Madison Bumgardner
Braves Catcher doing his best Brian McCann impression.
Jeff Wright if only McCann was starting
Biggy Cheesecake 🤣
On top of all that 3 strikeouts lol
Jeff Wright cuz he did it for reason 🙄
Only reason Heyward reacted like that was because he didn't want to get drilled 🤣
A Thom it was more of respect and not want any trouble considering he use to be a Brave
The braves would never do that to him. Heyward is one of the most humble people there is
@Starboy x1
@Kyle Grunert
Good points!
Maybe both? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
No it’s cuz he’s a veteran player trying to protect a young player from getting ejected
Heyward is a leader and always tries to keep the peace. He always seems to be the next in line when something happens lol. Or he's right there.
Willson "Ima yell at you running backwards" Contreras
Alejandro González best catcher in the MLV. I’m going to tweet him, surely he cares about some fat fucks opinion on the internet. I bet you’re just one confrontational badass.
Flowers is a class act. Contreras is an emotional 11 year old, like most Hispanics.
Accurate, that's that venezuelan roid rage 💯
Class acts are not instigators lol 😂
LOL, yeah he didn't seem like a class act here. Talking trash then getting butt hurt after getting shown up. Then going to the media acting all innocent like he didn't say anything even though the camera's caught him in the act.
- Willson Contreras instigated this incident, as he said something to Home Plate Umpire [HPU] on the Strike Call BEFORE the Home Run (Truth be told, the HPU was very generous with the Strike Calls Tonight on the Inside and Outside Corners, based on Strike Zone Analysis). Because of this, I cannot fault Flowers for reacting the way he did, as I believe he was trying to defend the HPU. Thankfully, this incident did NOT turn violent. However, I gotta give props to Former Brave Jason Heyward for trying to deescalate the situation at hand. Though he may be a former Brave, he still has Great Sportsmanship and is a Class-Example of a Great Baseball player both On and Off the field.
A Preview of what's to come in my "Notes From the Game".
SoundFX09 yes bro he did
fair assessment
The Braves have always been the "police" and "klan" of MLB. Can't wait for them to get shutdown and all of their players blacklisted.
I personally can’t wait for Contreras to get one right in between the shoulder blades.. play the game that way and planned to get touched back
Quick pitch goes yard, always nice to see
This is why I'm starting to like Baseball better than football. In the NFL it's like no player has a filter for their big egos, but if a player gets that way in baseball, someone is gonna have a problem with it. Baseball is honestly the sport with more humble athletes.
Hire Jomboy his video on this is way better.
Hire Jomboy to clean the restrooms in the MLB buildings
Come on Flowers you clearly said something to Willson when he was talkin to the ump...don't play innocent
mrsmukk he never said anything
Look at the video again.....when Willson is talking to the ump you can clearly see Flowers mouth moving
Hates life? He’s the number voted Catcher for the all star game two years in a row.
mrsmukk lol you are really reaching there, he isn’t talking to him
He tried to play victim after the game too. It was hilarious.
Contreras and flowers talkin about Good restaurants to eat after the game so cute
Torch passed from McCann to Flowers 😂😂😂
The problem was the pitch before he didn’t agree that it was a strike and said something to the ump, Flowers for some reason decided he needed to be in the conversation, then the pitcher tried a quick pitch and he hit it in the basket, so basically flowers needs to stop holding the umps balls and come to his defense. When a batter is talking to the ump about a pitch the catcher needs to giraffe up and mind his own business..
BRIMTIME !!!!!!! there’s nothing wrong with flowers. Contreras is know for being a show boat and didn’t like the pitch but Tyler said to him *without cussing him out* that the ump had been calling the pitch for him too
I understand Contreras probably didn’t want to get into a bigger altercation, but you can’t very well scream at a dude while continuously moving farther away from him. That’s a puss move. And I’m a diehard cubs fan lol. If you’re gonna yell at a dude, stand your ground. If you don’t want to get involved at all, then don’t yell back at all and move on with your day. Yelling while walking backwards is definitely not the thing to do lmao
Sticks and stones dude sticks and stones. These are a bunch of overpaid adolescents. Id rather see them trade barbs than ever get into a fight.
Patrick Hickey I hate comments like these. These people are professional athletes. I think they would at least be able to hold their own
@@themagicshoe1198 they get paid stupid amounts of money to play a simple game. One they are supposed to be role models for all the kids that look up to them and two if I was an owner that was paying these players and one got into a fight and was injured they would instantly lose there job . Million dollar crybabies
@@patrickhickey8779 wrong. They aren't paid to be role models. They're paid to produce results that help their respective team succeed. Period.
Well to all that think that these players arent expected to be role models then you need to rethink that thought. In every players co tract there is a code of conduct as to what is expected of each player and how they are to act . MLB has certain expectations of players also as to their activities. Especialy on the field during play. Using foul language and fighting during play certainly isnt expected. What i was refering to was duri g a game with fans present unacceptable behaviour period. Being young and under educated is laughable if used as a excuse.
The story...Contreras did not like the strike call the pitch before and was beefing with the home plate ump...Flowers jumped into the conversation between Contreras and the Ump. Contreras did not like that Flowers jumped into that conversation and let him know about it after he sent the ball out of the park. "Stay in your lane bro"
Contreras was being a jerk, he had beef with the catcher before the home run. This clip doesn't represent let the kids play. The Braves were angry that Contrares was yelling at the dugout, the bat flip was only a small part of it.
Fezzle wawawa too bad lol
Contreras had an issue with the Flowers because when he said something to the ump the pitch before Flowers started mouthing off. Also he wasn't yelling into the dugout. That's something he does every time he hits a HR. Not sure if it's towards the crowd or the first base ump. He does it when he comes around 3rd too.
Braves bout to release Willson's brother tomorrow lol
😂
What a Stupid comment
SportsLiveInTheAtl shut up lol
@@SportsLiveInTheAtl what a sense of humor
Maybe the Cubs will sign him then
Flowers laughed at Contreras when he was complaining to the ump. I guess the moral of the story is don't laugh at Contreras.
Roid rage from a hot head had nothing to do with it. Yahok
I love how flowers acts like the innocent little boy in the interview. He shouldn't even have been looking at Contreras and smiling away like he was
Its like Carlos Gomez and Brian McCann all over again
NBA trash talk, NFL trash talk, NHL trash talk, MLB you should walk like a soldier marching.
That's the way, uh-huh uh-huh
I like it!!!
Flowers representing his last name though, as soft as one. Nine times out of ten it's entitlement, players thinking they could talk down to players who's English isn't great (Puig perfect example hated on by practically everyone) and get all butt hurt when they get a response. Announcers will usually make it seem as though the non native player is out of line. Ignoring that obviously Flowers was talking smack and laughing in Contreras' face but the bat always speaks louder and clearly no translations needed.
CJ P. It seems he only smiled though 😂
Flowers was soft? He didn't back down like Coward Contreras did.
Tyler flowers never should’ve said anything to Contreras when he was talking to the umpire about the strike call, goes yard very next pitch😂
Brooks Bowman if the basket wasn’t there that home runs off the wall
That is what i say also it was between him, and the ump not Flowers
@@damianchaure1288, I'll bet that basket has been there longer than you've been alive. It's home run. In another era it might not have been, but at Wrigley, since the mid 70's, it is.
That basket is there when the Braves bat too.
If only Brian McCann was the starting catcher...
He's fat and half blind, he would get wrecked by Contreras.
Flowers caused the entire thing. Players question the umpires in every single game of baseball ever, however, the opposing catcher always minds his own business and never gets involved --- an unwritten rule. Flowers is seen clearly staring at Contreras and starts laughing/smiling in a mocking manner in an attempt to make him even more frustrated. Then Contreras goes deep and makes him eat his sarcastic smile. Flowers probably felt like a little bi*** after that and it perhaps contributed to his solid 0 for 4, 3K game.... or maybe that's just cuz he's a career .240 hitter 😂
So flowers said something on the strike 2 pitch but Contreras was the instigator who said something to flowers as he was leaving the box, beat his chest towards atlantas dugoit, said something to julio around 2nd and said more stuff to flowers at the plate.
But tell me more about how flowers caused the entire thing
It looked like Flowers was smiling or getting involved with Contreras’s strike zone argument with the umpire. If so that’s not his place. Did the pitcher try to quick pitch Contreras? I don’t know. Was Contreras protecting Bryant who was plunked? He said he was protecting his teammates without any explanation how. Contreras needs to keeps his emotions more in control if there’s nothing else.
I like this. Its shows the players have heart and passion for the game and it makes the game more compelling.
Jomboy did it best
It doesn't take much of a man to yell FU at someone while running away, just saying
Way to go Flowers...great teammate.Dont let a batter disrespect your team.
I'd say way to go to Contreras as well. Catcher wants to run his mouth like that, the best way to react to it is to hit a HR on the very next pitch.
That's on Flowers. You don't interject yourself between the Ump and the Batter discussing a strike call (a strike call at his shins no less). This was early in the game though. The ump was consistently terrible all game for both sides.
This game actually wasn't all that bad. There were some bad calls here and there, but overall they were far and few and evened out. The later games actually had worse calls.
4:16 lol he tryna act all innocent and tough
I like the Cubs, but let's talk s**t and walk away as we're doing it. Lol.
you are surprised?
Lol😂😂
Another foul off the beanbag will shut Contreras up!
Oh yes what do you want him to do tackle him....a little ground and pound. Idiot
Avacado and Greens I was surprised he did that cause he usually gets in someone’s face and stays there
Build the wall
I like how Contreras was running his mouth but is hopping towards his teammates as he does it
The Braves announcers were soooooo freakin biased, “Contreras almost dislocated his shoulder celebrating his homer” “you wanna let the kids play this is what you get”
MLB is the only league i know that would post a fight in their league even though it’s not allowed
Some of these guys grew up never getting drilled and it shows.
Braves Front office: do you hate fun?
Catcher: All the above
YEE CHRAVIS weird flex considering theyre having alot of fun whooping the cubs
@@brett3140 settle down, its a joke. Way to jump on the millenial chirp style tho, so points for that
YEE CHRAVIS ok?
CATCHERS ARE SO SENSITIVE
The announcer said he tried to quick pitch him and he was ready. Glad he saw it. I didn't see enough on the clip
Seems to me Contreras made a bigger statement with bat than was necessary with his mouth.
Richard Johnson barely hit a home run wow. Impressive
@@bconmoto a home run is a home run, stats are impressive usually
Ramaun Thompson i could one hand a pitch out of the little league field. Ask contreras how this series is playing out with the braves
I remember when benches clearing was rare, and if it happened people came out swinging.
The pitch before the home run was terrible and was called a strike.
Flowers should know as soon as you start walking towards another teams dugout, benches will clear
Flowers laughed at Contreras when he argues a strike previously. Then all of a sudden it wasn't so funny when he shitted on em next pitch and he couldn't handle it.
Ahh he said mean words and pointed at my team mates I better get mad. C'mon now, just laugh at it.
You cant let people show you up like that at that level...
If Contreras is arguing with the umpire, Flowers shouldn't be getting involved. But Contreras shouldn't be celebrating a 2nd inning homer like it's the World Series, either. Having said that, this is a total non-incident.
Martin Gardner the reason flowers felt the need to get involved is bc Contreras is also a catcher and the umpire had called that pitch all night so flowers told him just that
you can tell Contreras didn't want any smoke
Austin Mosley he said come at me towards the braves dugout, dude is insanely strong too so im sure he wouldnt care either way
Hes a boxer you Fool.
@@ericabdel-hadi6271 as he's running away
@@davetheteen1 yeah bc flowers is gonna stand there and try to box him lmao
Respect to NBC sports Chicago for not putting the pitchcast box above home plate... completely ruins the game and broadcast something out NBC SPORTS PHILLY SHOULD LEARN! Get rid of it!
If I was a Braves pitcher I'd go head hunting against Contreras tomorrow....high and tight
@The Wise One Yes, so you make it look like a mistake, just a day later, same game makes it too obvious
Flowers talked trash, Contreras hit a HR and talked trash back. I think they just called it even from there and let it go.
Me (starts chanting): Two go in, one come out
Latinos again.
I dont like arrogance...show some good sportsmanship dammit!!!
Fr a bunch of roid raging hotheads
For real
jeremy s Ahhh come on, stop being so uptight,, arrogance/ trash talking is and should be a part of the game. That’s what makes sports so interesting
Let the kids play
LEZ GO MAN....MLB ....HERE WE GO...
Just remember, “Is very bad to steal Wilson’s strike call... is VERY bad!”
...." up your butt Jo boo" lol....what a classic
Contreras might have a target on him now. Might make for an interesting series.
F*** that Go Cubs Contreras handle your business you did good 👍
GO BRAVES PAYBACK IS IN ORDER
Luis Corretjer Brewers will win the division Loser
If Flowers wanted to fight me I'd walk backwards also
Contreras is not one to mess with.
Heyward always being the good teammate. He always seems to be the next in line to bat when something happens lol. Even when Almora's foul ball hit the girl Heyward was right then next in line. LOL. He's always there. That's good though. He tries to keep the peace. He's a leader.
More of this showmanship is needed in MLB. Makes things lively and fun.
Oh look at that they’re just throwing a tantrum
Lets GO BRAVES PAYBACK IS IN ORDER
If YALL DONT KNOW WHO JOMBOY IS LOOK HIM UP EVERYONE . AMAZING AMAZING BASEBALL CHANNEL ONCE U STOP THERE THERE AINT NO TURNING BACK .
Contreras don't want no smoke. Yelling while running to first, rounds the bases, touches home players and starts yelling as he's backing up to the dugout. "Hold me back, Heyward!"
Tyler clearly said something to Wilson after that 2nd called strike. It wasn't his place to say anything, Wilson was talking to the umpire and didn't like the call
Darrick Holt it was right down the middle so.....yeah this ain’t on Flowers.
Good job by the HPU to KEEP THE GAME UNDER CONTROL.
Contreras was heading to the dugout so I wonder why Heyward tried to hold him up.
This is what happens when hitters have no fear of being brushed back. Shoot, you can’t even slide hard into 2nd base anymore. #wakebobgibson
Anytime at third-party (the catcher) gets in between, it’s annoying but the homerun is all that was needed
I love let the kids play but not what he just did
I saw that last night
So many comments about Contreras walking away as he talks. None about how Teheran has nothing but air and opportunity between himself and the Cubs, but only acts like he wants some when someone starts holding him back LOL
Pitchers and catchers getting mad because of batters celebrating homers is stupid
2:41 u can clearly see what the catcher was saying, "Fu## you Bi###."
Dov Lifson bc Contreras said that to Tyler flowers first 🤦♀️
Something was said by Flowers when Contreras said something to the ump. So it wasnt right for Contreras to turn after he hit the hr, but maybe Flowers needs to stay out of it also.
Flowers said something when he was talking to the ump and after contreas hit the homer and told flowers you do your job and ill do mine
Very fitting behavior from Shitcago
I thought maybe the bat hit the catchers mitt....
Not a fan of either team, love baseball though. He or a teammate needed hit by a pitch after that. Umps stay out of it till it's handled. Then give warning. Best way to fix a problem is through the teammates you just hit with a fastball.
Just was at this game I thought I should announce it because that’s what people do
Contreras was pointing to the crowd crowd not the Braves dugout because he does it almost every homer at Wrigley
Exactly. Guy always points. Lol. Boo hoo
He always points to the first base coach. Crazy how racist people are being in this comment section against him when he’s one of the sweetest guys in the game albeit an emotional player
Contreras is a baby 🍼 👶
Daryl Dixon and Flowers is a bum
Daryl Dixon baby for being disrespected? Complete opposite for telling the braves dugout to come at him
First they hit Kris Bryant then Donaldson does a shush finger to our Dugout but everybody is so innocent right? You can clearly see the Flowers got involved. CUBS WIN!
Quick tip: nobody cares if you are first
You do...you commented...smh....Carry on
@@southwesttexasm ???????
@@southwesttexasm u havin a seizure
sign Jomboy Media
I can bet anything the batter said “that’s a good pitch!” to the catcher. And he received the comment negatively. It’s baseball it happens 🤷🏽♂️
On a windy day, you can bunt a home run at the landfill called Wrigley...
But who won the game?
I love JomBoy, but you all realize that live play by play and what JomBoy does are two different things ?
1st time since José Fernandez from the Marlins
Everyone is acting like kids grow up there should be no fighting whatsoever in any sport.
Just let all the players from both dugouts grab a bat and meet each other on the field for some bat to bat combat.
Why do the benches need to clear if punches aren't being thrown? The purpose of a bench clearing is to break up a fight and protect your teammate.
Do you know how many punches could be thrown by the time they waited for the first one to happen? Plenty of people have been knocked out in seconds.
Damn! That woman interviewing Contreras hit the wall hard!
Hits homerun and runs his mouth.then gets punished by having to bat again. And hits almost the same exact homerun. Nuff said.
Too bad someone didn’t pop Rizzo a few times.
I was at this game
Contreas...that’s my catcher!
Waiting for Jomboy Media to give us the real story
Gene De La Garza he already did
