thank you for making a video about girl A that *actually talks* about siinamota's life. I've seen so many comments reduce the song to "emo tiktok audio." and yeah, they're right: girl A is emo. but it's SUPPOSED to be emo. girl A, like much of siinamota's music, encompasses his experiences with bullying, death, heartbreak, and the struggles of growing up. it's emotional and unsettling and raw; that's what makes it beautiful. I don't mind people calling it "emo", but I don't want them to simply dismiss the song because its darker meaning. I want people to appreciate his music, to recognize the sheer artistry of it. the fact that siinamota started composing at age 14 just shows his extreme level of skill and passion, which is evident in his work. honestly, nobody else can capture the feelings of confusion, fear, and uncertainty, yet hope in a catchy melody like he does. I don't support "sampling" (aka blatant theft), but I'm glad it's led to people discovering him. and I hope this video encourages people to listen to more of his discography!!! edit: obviously there's a difference between sampling creatively and just slapping a beat over a pre-existing song, and I should've made it more clear. my main complaint was addressing the latter, especially because the word "sampling" these days seems to be used as a justification for profiting off of someone else's hard work. sorry to anyone who went insane trying to correct me in the replies + you all have valid opinions :)
So all form of sampling is just plagiarism and composers should be encouraged to produce music by thinking of original tunes, and if they get any genuine inspiration or idea from other songs, try to make them sound very different instead of leaving it basically the same but just slightly altered?
@@GiovansbillyI…I don’t get what this comment is trying to say…? Are you agreeing or disagreeing with OP? Genuinely asking, I’m bad at reading the tone of comments sometimes.
I think sampling is okay if the music is so old that it doesn't fall under copyright or trademark. The Caretaker's, "Everywhere at the End of Time," is a great example of this. Using that which feels familiar to us to tell a beautifully tragic story.
hip hop is basically built on sampling and so many good songs has come out of it so i disagree with sampling being blatant theft.yes, bad sampling exists but for the most part most music steal from other music in some type of way.
one thing about the Red Pen part, he also talks about using it in a way to grade an exam. In Japan, school teachers also use red pens to grade exams, hence why the last lyric becomes "I got 0 points." In context of siinamota talking about how many mistakes he made and self-evaluating his own life, it's made pretty clear that he viewed it as meaningless and something he completely failed at, therefore having no reason to continue on living pretty sad if you ask me
Yeah, this is a more grounded interpretation of the song. He’s constantly comparing himself to unnamed people in the song, asking he’d be surely happy if he could just be like someone else, right? In Japan, they circle correct answers on your assignments. The lyrics go “The first circle I’ve drawn is also the last,” and he clarifies that that circle is a zero, essentially saying he never did anything right with his life. Other lyrics in the song suggest that he knew what he had to do to get “red marks,” or “circles,” but it felt like a “lie” and “nonsense” to him. He wanted to be himself, but never felt like he had the right to. This was a kid who in my interpretation loathed conformity on top of his struggle with what I believe is depression.
@@ClareAmel yeah Im pretty sure throughout some of his songs it talks about conformity and all the negatives of it (A Palette Full Of You makes this pretty clear imo) Although, in Red Pen he also talked about a person that he clearly misses, and within urban legend context, it’s not too farfetched that he’s also essentially saying he wants to join that person in the grave (like what the video said lmao)

It's all because of depression... But if you also have depression, I ask you not to do the same thing as me... You are needed, everyone needs you like me, If you pass away, then everyone will grieve for you as much as for me... And know that I will be with you in the most difficult life situations, never give up like me...
"When you already know the tragic story behind Young Girl A" Vocaloid lost a real gem with Ryou's passing, for someone so young, he was incredibly gifted. Even before his death, he was one of my favorite producers. I'm glad his music has garnered more recognition. Siinamota's life was preciously short, but his legacy endures within vocaloid and beyond all these many years later.
hes just like me fr but i dont wanna seem insensitive by saying this, his story is inspiring and sad at the same time because he was successful but as we know, even success cant save you from depression
A explanation: She kept getting bullied in where the school she goes to is very cold and she always made mistakes and everyone kept bullying her and she couldn’t take it anymore and done suicide.
So thats why i could feel connected with each song from Siinamota (Rest in peace) , cz myself sometimes got a bad overthinking habit that could depressing me so much
... It's no doubt it is a suicide... No way someone at the age of 20 will die this early, except from a major accident or suicide... But man... This is depressing... No one really deserves this...
Correction, the vocaloids "canon ages" are purely just for marketing purposes. Their age depends on how a writer uses them in a song and whatever age they chose for them to be.
Healthy end was apparently a song Siinamota gave to someone to make a music video for, hence why it was uploaded posthumously, as the music video had only been finished then. Red pen was the last song uploaded by Siinamota himself I believe
i think the song was "goodbye everyone" or something, and i think some of the lyrics relates to his death. with the title, and the "pills" part. i feel like he mightve overdosed.
No red pen is not his last song you forgot something too his first last song is red pen pls second song healthy end and the very last song of mizoguchi ryo is goodbye everyone

Theres also another song that was said to be the last song he made named "Healthy end" uploaded by his close friend and an album named "therefor." Which is mainly unrealeased tracks
its so sad he passed 7 days before my birthday im so saddd 😢😢😢😢 rip siinamota fly high
I'm sorry...
@PowaPowaP-Q 😭😭
It's all because of depression... But if you also have depression, I ask you not to do the same thing as me... You are needed, everyone needs you like me, If you pass away, then everyone will grieve for you as much as for me... And know that I will be with you in the most difficult life situations, never give up like me...
"When you already know the tragic story behind Young Girl A"
Vocaloid lost a real gem with Ryou's passing, for someone so young, he was incredibly gifted. Even before his death, he was one of my favorite producers. I'm glad his music has garnered more recognition. Siinamota's life was preciously short, but his legacy endures within vocaloid and beyond all these many years later.
RIP Siinamota 🕊️
Thank you for this❤
That minecraft music at the end hit really hard
hes just like me fr but i dont wanna seem insensitive by saying this, his story is inspiring and sad at the same time because he was successful but as we know, even success cant save you from depression
I knew about Young Girl A, I knew that it was made by siinamota and that he passed away, and it ended there. Thank you SO, SO much for informing us!
A explanation:
She kept getting bullied in where the school she goes to is very cold and she always made mistakes and everyone kept bullying her and she couldn’t take it anymore and done suicide.
You mean he
Why didn’t he just call 988
So thats why i could feel connected with each song from Siinamota (Rest in peace) , cz myself sometimes got a bad overthinking habit that could depressing me so much
This song is the song that really got me into vocaloid, if I didn't see this song earlier maybe I would be different
gave me goosebumps.
... It's no doubt it is a suicide... No way someone at the age of 20 will die this early, except from a major accident or suicide... But man... This is depressing... No one really deserves this...
I love the omori music in this video
R.I.P. Siinamota…
At age of 20 he died ,wow its sad ,rest peacefully
You mean he? Siimota was a vocaloid artist who changed his voice
@@UniformGem2 yes he * my bad
1:11 did you use AI art here? (Maybe it's just the colors, can't bother to analyze this image too much rn)
Naw that guys just a nuts artist
@@whispiiit is ai💀
@@scaramalia oh my fault then he's just great at typing prompts ig 🤷
@@whispiiyeah I zoomed in on it because I thought it looked ai generated too and it’s definitely ai
it’s actually sad that this song is known as “that cool blade ball song”
thanks for shedding light on this topic.
I am very angry to the peoplewho call it a "blade ball" song
I'm mad about it too, because I once saw a guy say that this song was written for "blade ball". God, he's so stupid...
Nice Video
And to think that this song is used over Heroic moments like Gotham’s final stand
"far younger than hatsune miku" you say as if miku is 30
Miku is only 16 💀
She is 16 only
Fuck tiktok for ruining this song.
u mean geometry dash
@@Clearrly yeah I love geometry dash but the community is out of their mind
I will NEVER forgive brainrot and certain parts of TikTok for what they did to this song
Rest in peace siinamota
OMORI MUSIC
YEAYEYS FINALLY SOMEONE NOTICED
YEYAEYAYE IU FUCJKING LOVE OMORI I BEAT IT TWICE ALMSOT
I still find it very disrespectful when people use "Young girl A" as a punk song (or whatever they call it) and use it for stupid trends.
Tik Tok ruined Vocaloid songs.
Also they use Kai Yukii songs.
@@Lisztito1811 Lost Umbrella???
Correction, the vocaloids "canon ages" are purely just for marketing purposes. Their age depends on how a writer uses them in a song and whatever age they chose for them to be.
6:58 I heard this song before… MINCECRAFT okay I’m off topic
BRO I WRITE MY NAME WITH RED PEN BECAUSE I FORGOT MY BLUE PEN AT HOME
Your dead
Whoa… you’d think music would be the divine language that would connect us all despite language and culture.
any fellow radiohead fans who thought of kid a?
Origin story of SCP 096
Omori was mentioned 🔥🤫
1:18 that’s AI generated art
i shouldnt have listened young girl a with subtitles......
I have a question.
If "Red pen please" was siinamota's last song?
What would "Healthy End" be?
Healthy end was apparently a song Siinamota gave to someone to make a music video for, hence why it was uploaded posthumously, as the music video had only been finished then. Red pen was the last song uploaded by Siinamota himself I believe
@@whispii oh i see, but didn't he talk about the reasons and what was going through his mind directly before "passing away"?
and what would goodbye everyone be?
gelp i was listebing to this video scrolling on pinterest and i come back and this dude is playing the mimic on roblox

Hi daru
RIP…
i think the song was "goodbye everyone" or something, and i think some of the lyrics relates to his death. with the title, and the "pills" part. i feel like he mightve overdosed.
Sorry, but why the FUCK do I relate to this story/song so much ;-;
RIP
aTHE OMORI MUSIC!!
1:46 it’s raining somewhere else..
I don’t like how this song is used on random ass videos :(
I agree with you
6:00 vocaloids have no canon age but most of the community interpreted her to be 14
he has the same d day as me
No red pen is not his last song you forgot something too his first last song is red pen pls second song healthy end and the very last song of mizoguchi ryo is goodbye everyone
the fact that American people go like: LETS GO AMAZING MUSIC YEAYEYAEYAYEAY
meanwhile people who understands the lyrics: ...
also people keep using Japanese songs even tho they dont know what they mean
You thought i wouldnt notice the omori music did you
And the fact that the blade ball community has claimed this song for almost every video is fkd up
Late 2023 - early 2025 nostalgia ngl
