If you want the slouchy look of Balenciaga, get a large vintage Fendi peekaboo. It’s much cheaper than Hermes and gives almost the exact look. Or buy a large Ferragamo hobo for that look as well, buy your own charms.
I think the Margaux is overpriced for what it is considering it's not even hand stitched--I do love the look of the belt one though. For the price of the Margaux... I'd rather add more money in and buy an Hermes tbh. You are absolutely spot on about what you said about buying Balenciaga vs Hermes, Jess! All of Balenciaga's awful behaviour aside, the Hermes will age well, can be repaired, the leather is stronger, and the hardware is stunning. Definitely a bag that will last a lifetime. The Rodeo? Notsomuch.
Today I tried out the Chloe camera bag and found the thick top handle causes the bag to be off-balance when worn with the longer shoulder strap. Also the clasps on the top handle are so bulky that it inhibits accessing the two side "cargo" pockets ....but the new Chloe bracelet bag is IT!!! That bag is now living rent-free in my mind - it has two-tone hardware and can be worn multiple ways, such as a crossbody half-moon bag too!!
Hi Jess! I like the Margaux, but...the Coach Empire is a better value for my money. I might consider one. But today, I am gonna shop my closet. I'm FoMo'ing for a army green messenger bag with distressed leather. Like a medic bag, for some Autumn vibe. 😊❤
Yes! Large bags for the win!! 💃🏿 I do still like the Margaux however, I still hesitate paying that price for a Row bag. I know that’s dumb, but here we are 😅 The Bottega clutch is beautiful! Your Hermés Pliplat clutch is one of my favorite bags of yours! I love your Polochon bag! The color is so pretty. I am thinking of getting the huge Coach bag you were modeling a few days ago!
I have 3 Margaux's, the 10 in pebbled leather, the 12 in smooth leather (my fave for many reasons) and the 15 in pebbled leather. The 15 is definitely on the large side, so i dont take it out much, the 10 is a little small so i rarely use it, but very light weight, all three are light weight for their size, and the 12 which is perfect! I have a mini Loewe Flamenco, love it, its like a little jewel box. I have an original Gucci Jackie bag, i never wear it. PS I think ur Lindy fits the cargo category even though it doesn't have pockets that stick out it does have the side pockets and it sluchy. PPS i love ur orange Hermés bag, it's so freakin cute! I dont care for bracelet bags, i never have l, nor do I like fringe, never have liked fringe either. Fun video!
@@Jessiestyle Yes some of your Hermès that you have are very iykyk, the associates may notice, but most people on the streets wouldn't clock it, and you can just run in and out of shops quietly🥰
I have the black belted margaux 15 in saddle leather.... and I love it!!! 😍😍 I really love the sophisticated look it gives. I will say though, that it gets quite heavy when I put my laptop in it, but I did buy it as a work bag ❤
@@Jessiestyle haha thanks.. but I also added a version 1 Labubu monster macaron onto it wearing the Stella Lou costume... for work, not so classy afterall 🤭😬 hahaaahaa 😆🤣
Great video Jessie! I still like the row margot but I loved your honest opinion about the bag and reaction on balencienga! Hehehee Love your BOTD orange hermes with pumpkin labubu they look so cute together 😍🍊
I think the Margaux is a gorgeous, luxe-ish bag, would I choose to wear it over one of my Birkin 35 or 40, probably not. I want to ❤ the Margaux more, but it’s hard when a Coach Empire is just as good for 1/4 the price. Also I feel like the Margaux won’t age well.
Hi Jess! For me the Margaux is a no. As well as the Coach emprie 40 or 48 wayyyy too big for me . I have a LV x YK pumpkin neverfull that’s never left my home. Literally. I love the look of it but it’s just too much bag for me. Also, I love a good clutch! I’m glad they’re popular again.
wow really!? I always thought a neverful would be a handy bag to have!! perhaps it's good for work or an occasion you need a laptop! hope you are enjoying you weekend Jen!! ❤
RE; the Row Margaux. Having studied this for a while... I say the design is flawed. It looks OK, but the attachment of the handles to bag? - too small a surface area! Especially when you have a big size, can you imagine how heavy they are loaded up? I reckon those handle ends will give way in no time. Compare to say, Garden Party, where the handle piece of leather attaches all the way down. That will hold.
Your channel is lovely Jess! Comments, likes, rewatching and have tried to interact to boost your numbers but that doesn't seem to be a thing on some lux channels? Oh well:)
I love seeing how you shop your closet with the Vogue trends 😂👏🏼 It reminds me to quit buying repeats & having a bag for every occasion.
Shop your closet! Yay!!! My favorite thing. Great ideas here, Jessie! Hope you're having a great weekend!!!
yay!!! you too Finley!!
Love the highlighter on the cheeks. So fresh and youthful 😊❤
Yep the makeup is killer.
thanks!! hehe I got my makeup done that day!

Love my Margaux 12 and 15💕
😍good to know!!
Hi Jessie ! The Miso basket is so cute !!! 😊😊😊
hehe yes~ It is very handy!!
Most of Hermès is timeless classic. My Mom had Trim bags, great for a day of shopping❤
ooo that's cool!!

Love your Hermes scarf with the chocolate sweater! 😍 I’m with you on the Margaux being overrated. I would rather have a large Bolide!
aw thankyou!!!

Would your tall Hermes bag in the back of the red/pink shelf hold a laptop? I can't recall the name of that bag.
What are your thoughts on The Horse? I’m considering the Clementine. It looks like it would be a nice every day bag, with multiple ways to carry.
The Clementine from the Horse are great! I have 3 and love them, they remind me of my Loewe Puzzles with a much better price tag!
@@SaabGuy-mq3cwGood to know! I only recently found out about the brand.
I have to check out the bags in real life! Looks very wearable
"Old Trash Bag with some charms on it" that was a great line.

Controversial take: the Row Margaux looks like a Coach tote which is much less, minus sangles😂
it is defs a similar vibe!!

@@Jessiestyle thank you for posting your thoughts!:)
I didn't realise clutches were back in...for security reasons I thought it would be out of trend.
good point!!
The Row Bag = JCrew
It’s a TRIPLE NO for me.
Omg those charms. -so tacky
