We have the same problem on East Keysville Road. However the sherrifs department says only 8 % of the high traffic count are speeders over the posted speed limit. It is apparently ok for 8 % of speeders to endanger the residents fronting the road.
Fish Hawk people using it as an alternative to lithia pinecrest. Most of them are from other states. Most of them don’t realize they moved into a swamp.
Police throughout our country have stopped writing tickets. Number one, the police do not want to get out of the police cars anymore. Laziness on their part. That's a fact. Number two, it's not worth the risk they feel for a speeding ticket. Again, Laziness on the department for allowing these officers to sit and do nothing unless they get a call and then they become the worst drivers ever because they think they're exempt from motor vehicle laws because they have blue lights and siren. When the police Start to police again (hopefully) only then will the public start to obey traffic laws again.

Okay solution Speeding warning sign Followed by Speeding warning tracking Device with camera Recording violators. Followed by Speeding tickets delivered to their house. This is done all over the country by the police. First warning, then the monitoring sign, and then the ticket in the Mail with the photo of the Violation. This is decades old technology, but you can't implement it.

I might suggest a side walk as well if their are bus stops. My Grandmother was killed walking on such a road in Plainwell, that now has a sidewalk.

Sidewalks suck get speed bumps put in and have large rocks on either side, they work!
