Now, frosted cereals (straight up HFCS) is healthier and encouraged over unadulterated cereals like cream of wheat or oatmeal. Sadly, too many idiots will take it as gospel to the detriment of their own well being.

  • @bradmacdonald6591
    @bradmacdonald6591 2 місяці тому +2

    I did the math, and
    Both options have downsides, but here’s a quick comparison:
    2L of Pop (Soft Drink)
    Sugar: Very high sugar content, typically 200-250g of sugar (800-1000 calories). Excessive sugar can lead to weight gain, insulin resistance, and increased risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
    Other effects: Sugary drinks are linked to tooth decay and can lead to quick energy spikes followed by crashes.
    4 Beers (Tall Boys)
    Alcohol: 4 tall boys (16 oz cans) contain about 5-6% alcohol, totaling roughly 60-70g of alcohol. This is approximately 600-800 calories.
    Short-term effects: Alcohol can impair judgment, motor skills, and coordination.
    Long-term effects: Heavy drinking is linked to liver damage, heart disease, and addiction. However, moderate alcohol consumption has been associated with some cardiovascular benefits.
    Verdict:
    Healthier choice: While both are unhealthy in excess, 4 beers pose additional risks related to alcohol consumption (mental, behavioral, and organ damage). However, 2 liters of pop contains excessive sugar, which is harmful for metabolism and long-term health.
    In moderation, it’s best to limit both, but alcohol in excess tends to have more immediate and serious health risks.

    Even inmates in prison got the legal right for at least one liter of beer/day and
    retired workers of breweries get approx. 150 liters of free !!! beer every month,
