This might be the best combination of price + space + interior layout + general design I've seen on this channel - at least for the UK.

For 700k you get an empty house. For this level of furnishing you are looking at another 50k.

@@khalidelrasheed3779 I haven't been there but with remote working it should be ok. In south east, 700k gets you a small 4 bed detached house.
This house is so perfect in every aspect: interior, floor space, ceiling heights, price, etc.
This is a rare occasion where everybody will love this house.
Except painting the fence & decking every 2 years , would be better if these were composite , minimum maintenance

Very rarely do you see a house worth its price! This one is 100% worth the 700k price tag. beautiful.
It looks like good value, but remember wages locally will be significantly lower than the national average.
This is definitely the best value for money we’ve seen on the channel
It may of value but can you live up north. Can you understand the Geordie accent. Also will you be able to cope with cold weather. ( Even in the summer) 🥶 There is a reason people live down south, weather and good job prospects.

@@Haroon5 What on earth are you talking about? I live in the North East, but 50 miles away from Newcastle. Newcastle is where the Geordie accent is prevelant - not the entire North East. Go & get educated. Oh & re the weather, it's cold in summer? Where've you sourced this information from? The North East/Eastern coast of the UK is incredibly pleasant during summer - when London's hot, we're only ever a couple of degrees lower. Job prospects too, several towns in the North East have achieved the title 'boom towns', areas of the UK, which - regardless of the pandemic have seen substantial investment in the housing/building industry & availability of jobs. Sick to death of people down South thinking they live in paradise. London, especially, is a dump - statistically it's a more dangerous city than L.A & Manilla in the Phillipines. What's good about that? 1.8 knife crimes daily in the capital - compared to 0.8 per MONTH in the North East.

Wow, your money definitely goes a lot farther in Stockton-on-Tees. This house is big, gorgeous and finished beautifully. Love it.
You wouldn't want to live in Stockton-on-Tees, that's for sure. You wouldn't want to live within 100 miles of it.
I think this is the first house you've toured that I could afford! AND, to me, it's much nicer than most of the multi-million dollar properties I've seen you do in London. Thanks for the show and tell!
I think it’s because of it’s less desirable location. If this was in the south it would be triple the price for sure

@@beatbonjon1384 my dad lives in the north east too! You’re right, Darras Hall is expensive, I could see this being more than £700,000 in some areas near Morpeth and Jesmond too

I just watched your latest house tour on your channel. You have an absolutely beautiful voice. The music selection was very nice. One composer that I like in the USA is Ryan Little. He has quite a large library of music on UA-cam, one of my favourites is Aqua. Another Real Estate channel you might want to check out is Presello. But I wouldn’t change anything about your videos, they are wonderful!

I completely agree with you. This is a house I could easily live in. My pugs would love the big back yard. I have read other comments about the location not being so nice. I am not familiar with that part of England.
Its in one of the worst areas in England. You're not even close to any big city. Middlesbrough? is like 30 mins away and that is..... lol

@@theredboneking It's a great house, the location isn't ideal (Middlesborough/Stockton in my opinion is quite rough). If it was placed just north of Newcastle, it would be perfect. Nice countryside however.
I'm not from the UK but I love UK interior designs, everything is always so beautiful and neatly placed no matter the year it was built.

They have done an amazing job incorporating space and light for a fantastic price. This is the best interior design I have seen not a thing I would change. The price is fantastic for everything you get. The open kitchen/dining area is impeccable.

This house would be about £1.3 mil in Salisbury.
not all up north is affordable sadly, we're trying to upgrade in Harrogate... we had a a better house down south than what we are able afford to buy here for the same budget x
honestly and salisbury is such a horrible city, not very many nice properties here at all
I only ever lived in London but looking to move to more affordable and nicer areas. Any recommendations?
@@eralec totally depends on your work / family situation, I live in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, which is very expensive sadly, our home down south was nicer than what we can afford up here for the same price, but there is many more affordable areas across North Yorkshire with the most stunning countryside surrounding it and picturesque market towns with truly friendly people, majority of towns are close to major train stations with surprisingly quick trains into London's main stations etc, most places will be a lot more ''bang for your buck'' out of London, areas outside Manchester are great too like Cheshire (which will feel affordable compared to London), I have a friend who has just moved from Camden and got a big 5 bed home with an acre of land 15 minutes from York City Centre for £625,000, she moved during lockdown to escape the city and I have a friend who's an agent up here in Harrogate and he said he is inundated with buyers looking to move out of London and up to North Yorkshire countryside! If you need to stay closer to London then you could go out to places like Dorset, Hampshire etc, all much more affordable than London! Best of luck with the house hunt, we spent years in London and moving back to North Yorkshire made our life 10 x happier!
@@ja3724 Thanks so much for the detailed reply. We can move within a 1.5h radius by train to London as we will permanently work 3-4 days per week from home going forward. I will have a look at the areas you suggested. 600-700k would be great - you get next to nothing for that in London :/
As an American I LOVE British homes. Even a large new build like this feels warm, cozy, and functional. Most new American homes are TOO open where it’s not as cozy and less privacy.
As a British person I love American homes.

Best "reasonably" priced new build that you have showed. 😍😍The floor plan is perfect. I would use the snug as an office. Love the house and the staging!
I hope some of the bigger name developers are watching this- it clearly shows it is possible for a new build to have decent sized windows and higher ceilings.

what an amazing house, shows you what you can get for £700K up north. In todays world of potentially working form home, someone from down south could sell up, buy this, pocket some serious cash, pay off mortgage and continue working remotely. The countryside up there is amazing so you have everything really
I'm a tradesmen in the North East and so many southeners are moving up. Not all for 700k houses but some just happy to get onto the property ladder.

wages in London mean there is no shortage of people who can afford substantial mortgages. Meanwhile, in the NE there aren't many jobs paying the kind of salaries one would need to service a mortgage big enough for this even at the relatively low asking price.
@@spencerwilton5831 The average wage in London is only 10k more than the average wage in the North East. The average person in the North East is better off because of the vastly lower cost of living.
@@harrychown6854 Agreed. I live in Surrey and cost of living, incl. property prices, is sky high. Some folk up t’ North seem to think anyone south of Watford has a 6 figure salary! Sure there are some high earners but many who are not.

Brilliant guys, what a fantastic sized house for the price and the location beautifully decorated interiorly and exteriorly and the architecture and design is really top level really striking beautiful brick work and the garden is just stunning. The amount of amazing parties and gatherings in this house/Garden. Loved it and I hope there are more to come up north 👏👏😀🙌

I spent 10 years of my childhood in Wynyard before moving to Harrogate, it was a lovely place to live, the private security was great and everyone knew everyone, real community spirit. The old side (Village) is much nicer than the new build development called Wynyard Park, the village side has some stunning homes anything up to £2.5m-£3.5m

Definitely not! I live on the new side (the self build plots)and it’s so much nicer only good thing about the village is the pub

Friend just moved out of Manorside, houses squashed together, you could see in each others bedrooms, the plots are spaced so badly, just no privacy, they're huge houses on tiny tiny plots. There is a reason they're not selling well, the price per square foot cost is still considerably hire on The Wynd, Woods, Wellington and the attached roads

Lovely house. I'm from this area. You get a lot more for your money in the north east . If your from the south do not be put off living in the north east i.e Durham, Nth Yorkshire, Cleveland or Teeside. This house is in an exclusive part of The nth east called Wynyard. People who have money will want to live here . Footballers and such like live here. There is also a golf course in this exclusive little town. The location is very good. Wynyard is in South Durham. It's only 10mins drive from Stockton on tees and Middlesbrough . Hartlepool , Sunderland and Durham city also very close by, no more than 15-20 mins drive away and Newcastle a little further. Also only 10 miles in land , Wynyard is also close to the local beaches and coastline. A19 motorway 2 minutes drive away. North Yorkshire and Durham countryside very close by. Wynyard is a very good location. But there are some excellent properties in other towns within 20 miles of Wynyard that will be cheaper. You are paying for the location with Wynyard and the prestige that goes with the postcode. Hope this helps.

To mirror other commenters, this is one of the best houses I’ve seen on this channel. The floor plan, room sizes etc make it special. I’m ready to put in an offer for £70 and move it down to London 😜😂

Thank you for visiting the North East, beautiful house and layout.. Maybe next time come further up around Sunderland/Newcastle area or even Northumbria. Some incredible houses for a lot less than down South plus we’ve got some stunning properties on the coast too.

Very similar in price to my home in the US. This home is actually reasonably priced and it's nice. Definitely seems more Americanized than some of the other homes I've seen on this channel. Actually put walk-in closets in some of the bedrooms! Obviously, the location is a massive factor.

what an amazing development! I think it’s mad how much house you can get for your money in the north compared to the south. A house with a similar floor plan would cost nearly double down here in the south.

This is a very nice house. My 2 big German Shepherds would also love the big yard. I know you guys refer to the yard as a garden, but over here in the U.S. we refer to it as a yard. You Brits seem to be big on wall to wall carpeting, but over here in the U.S. hardwood flooring is the thing. I prefer wall to wall carpeting especially for my dogs. It is softer on their bones and joints. Although, hardwood would be easier to keep clean with 2 big German Shepherds. Nice house guys.👍👍
Well thought of space usage especially the natural lights flowing in the properly, great interiors too. And a lot more cheaper than properties in London.

Fab house, just lacks a cupboard in main entrance to put coats for guests etc. Also, houses need practical storage for vacuum, mops, not just bedroom closets. Luv the garden space, great home for a lucky family.
