- I won this magazine and just had to share it with you. I have so many ideas to create with this: make an envelope to send to a pen pal, cut pieces out to collage with for artwork, or even just hang on my wall!
What would you create? Have you ever created a collage before? Got any tips?

This is so fun, I will def be checking them out! As for collaging, I would recommend modge podge, it works well for me and they have a bunch a different kinds depending on what you are using it for. I personally will use a stronger glue if I am putting a heavier media down or 3D stuff like pressed flowers, gems, pearls, etc. Happy crafting!
Yes modge podge!! I totally forgot about that. I have some glue for book binding, but I think modge podge would be better for this sort of collage. I'm going to be create something with it soon and do a video on it. So I should get some glue!
What a fun magazine! I’d want to frame so many of these wonderful pictures!
About collage… I have done some, but always using my own work, for example ; I painted a bunch of frogs (while doing studies for a commission ), I liked some of those frogs so much that I collaged them into another painting. I have created my own lino stamps and used them in mixed media/collage & I have used pages out of my own journals for written messages to be collaged into a piece.
I just came back to edit: I remembered that I have used sheet music in collage. 😊
Right? I want to frame a few of them too - gotta go thrift for some new frames! hehe. I love your ideas for collage - the lino stamps in particular. That sounds so fun to create and add to mixed media art projects!
Thank you for taking the time to put together this flip-through! It was so wonderful to hear your first impression of the magazine. :)
Aww, of course! I loved flipping through it and then creating a collage with it! Such a fun way with your already curated artworks all together nicely in the magazine!!!
That was an interesting and inspiring flip through! Could you please maybe share who the artist is that did the colorful flowers on the black background? I found them so very beautiful and would like to see more of the work.
Isn't it so inspiring? I felt very inspired after flipping through. Yes! Let me grab my copy and find out....her IG is design.sumitgill
@@jaclynbaerart Thank you! I love your art and style very much. Now you introduced me to a new to me artist whose art I also really enjoy. ☺️
What a beautiful magazine. So many different styles but they work so well together. Thanks for sharing :)
Isn't it beautiful? I'm such a fan and going to create such awesome things with it soon!
Thank you for sharing this magazine with us! So much inspiration 👌😍 ...
Wishing you a wonderful week 💞
Of course! I'm so glad I could share. I'm brewing up ideas to create with it and will share again :) I hope you have a wonderful week too! Spring is getting closer and makes me so happy to hike again!
@@jaclynbaerart Thank you, Jaclyn. And a big Yessss for Miss Spring! 😉😊
How fun! I just ordered a couple of her “scratched and dented” issues to see if I’m inspired give this art format a try. If I like the experience, I’ll subscribe. Thanks for the introduction!
That’s a brilliant idea to get some scratch and dented ones to try out. I should look at that too! 🙌🏼
I don’t fully understand collage yet, but I like the designs.
haha, I'm still learning how to create collage with my style!
First!
Thanks friend!
