My first thought would be to bring it back to the shop who installed it? Could be the rack itself was no good to begin with or there is binding somewhere, either way its dangerous to drive like that.
@@florentinoborjas6792 I went and got a refurbished oem rack it helped to steer also changed ball joint lower control arms I bought new tires balanced them It still vibrates a little from the floor on the driver side I’m thinking I have to ch age the axle it’s very frustrating
You could have broke the clock spring inside the steering wheel however you would have to hit it pretty hard. The steering wheel would have to be removed to get to it. But I’d make sure it wasn’t something else.
@@motorcarnut that’s probably it I did hit it pretty hard i can drive it just turns a little bit slower when I turn the wheel it makes a scratching sound.
My steering is getting a bit stiff but I have electric power steering. Please explain is it my motor?
In your case yes or something in the steering leakage is binding.
Honda pilot 2003 just started getting hard sometimes when turning. But it’s running.
Check for power steering leaks
@@motorcarnutI have a leak, what is a good quota to get it done or should i look to do it myself
@notlekstoy depends where the leak is coming from?
Can no power steering be caused by the battery having low charge or no?
Not really, once the vehicle is started it relies on the alternator not the battery.
Exactly I had same issue with battery after changed its happen but mechanic saying its dianomore problem
