I was going to ask if the movie was very similar to the book. I never seen it or read the novel, but there's a guy on TikTok that reacted to the movie and having Mickey Rooney play a Japanese man was jarring. The creator didn't realize it was him at first but kept saying something was off with the character. I could tell right away who it was. I guess I'll still watch it at some point, at least I know what to expect lol

I absolutely loved None of This is True, so good!! I’m currently reading Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands and absolutely loving it! Also planning to read Six of Crows, Finding Me (memoir by Viola Davis), Crescent City 2, and The Midnight Library 😊
