You know, sometimes I wonder if Wumbo is initially holding back on these matches. I've noticed that every time he loses a round, he completely demolish his opponents in the following round(s).
can you stop fighting against puyo? the slow style of puyo doesn't mesh well with the aggressive rush of tetris. you literally just send a tetris or two worth of junk over before the puyo sets up and you win. its incredibly boring
Absolutely agree. We get it, Tetris good, Puto bad. Puyo only wins when he lets them win and you can tell when hes letting them win because immediately following it, he'll start going for real and have two Tetrises and a T-Spin of garbage queued for Puyo before they can even drop enough Puyos to make a single match.
@@Ninetails2000no, im just saying PPT was a mistake of a game since the two do not mesh in the slighest. Tetris junk sending should have been MAJORLY toned down if it wanted to be "balanced". As it stands, PPT is "Puyo gets abused by Tetris players 99.99% of the time" since the aggresive style of tetris doesn't mesh well with how puyo benefits from delicate and long combos.
@MakusinMeringue Not helping is that Tetris garbage is instantaneous, rises up from the bottom so it doesn't interfere with the field directly and is literally just combo fodder. Puyo garbage, comparatively is absolutely game ending without any sort of utility. Maybe if it was like Sun Puyo where including them in a chain boosts the power of that chain or if the game used Fever rules where offsetting garbage was encouraged, it would be more balanced in Puyo's favor.
