Yep. What a soundtrack, and what an amount of potential for amazing games. I watched the "game movie" of TLoS, and after finding out about the games I thought "wow - why weren't they given more money and time to make this story into video game masterpieces?" But no, that's how the industry works... never take risks, make as much money as you can with ridicilous budgets. These games deserved so much more.
@Gamer Reactor It might not be but it's literally the same method. Song sped up my approx. 20% with a higher pitch. Only thing stopping this from being nightcore is the fact the method wasn't used on a song that's of the trance genre (and/or similar).
Nighcore music has faster tempo. This wasn't really fast from the real music. Yeah, may be a bit. And its mostly the pitch change. But defenitely not like nightcore music.

I really liked the music in this game (hence why I'm looking it up) but other than that, I don't know about a remake for this one. Looking back on it, The story was pretty alright for it's time, but the game play itself felt too repetitive and the backgrounds looked too similar to sustain me for the whole game. It would have done better with less tutorials, and more exploration. If they do make a remake of Spyro though, I think Spyro 1,2, and three from the PS1 would better deserve the spotlight.
Tom PAC yeah more possibility of the PS1 games being done But if you noticed the level redesigning and tweaking in Crash remaster then TLOS might of been the legendary game series it could of been, and imagine Avlar on DOTD in 4k with all the shit happening! Consoles would cry and GPUs would melt.
Quite the imagination there. I'm impressed. But tweaks are simply tweaks, and adding and/or changing major game mechanics/ altering the simplistic corridor designs of this game would call for some heavy knowledge of knowing how to restructure a flawed game. Redesigning the backgrounds seems like an easy enough of a task for bluepoint, but coming up with core mechanics for their remakes seems to make them nervous. Vicarious visions might have been up for it, but they seem to focus heavily on beat em ups concerning their Skylanders games, which was an aspect of the legend games I wish could have been toned down. You games obviously have a place in heart though, so I'll stop with all this talk and listen to the music.

What you are talking about is what a "remaster" is, not a remake. Crash trilogy got a remaster. A remaster is when you literally just increase the graphic quality and sometimes you make a tiny amount of tweaks to the game itself to better balance it all out for today. That's it. That is a remaster. A remake is much much more than that. A remake is a way to re-define the original game while also increasing the graphic quality. A remake is when you change the entire game to better fit to a game today while keeping the originality of it to a certain degree. Ratchet & Clank got a remake. They changed the story, the gameplay, made many tweaks and obviously increased the graphic for today's standards. That is what a remake is. You change the entire game to better fit today's standards and style of game but you still keep the foundation of the original game to a certain degree. In other words, a remake is a new game. The Ratchet & Clank remake became like a different new game but with similarities. Basically a Spyro remake would better fit the second trilogy than a remaster as it would refine the gameplay, fill or change or both the story to better fit everything while also ironing out bugs, glitches and other needy tweaks. I don't think a remake of the second Spyro trilogy will ever be made sadly enough as it is my favorite trilogy unless Activision decides to do that trilogy more justice by remaking it. It wouldn't be crazy to do that though considering remaking a game is still much cheaper, less time consuming and less resource needy than when creating a whole new game from the ground up. I'm sure they would do it if Activision knew it was gonna sell really well and give a huge ROI (Return On Investment). I can only hope. The upcoming remaster or remake (Most likely remaster) of Spyro will almost 100% be for the first trilogy mostly because it needs it much more than the second trilogy and considering it has always been more popular than the second trilogy.

Попытка неплохая, но увы провальная... Сюжет вырос, музыка стала отдельным шедевром, но геймплей... Геймплей не очень оригинальный. История не плоха, но она больше подошла бы к фильму, нежели к игре. Лично мне хотелось больше, чем приятная история, мне хотелось глубокую вселенную... У легенды была эта возможность, но увы она пошла по другому пути. Вообще по Спайро мог выйти неплохой мультсериал, на подобии "Аватар: легенда об Аанге". Если говорить вцелом, то эта трилогия для меня- попытка вырасти из прекрасной розы, прекрасный сад.
