Hi Amy, Felicia D here, USA. I would not ditch this project. I like how you made a different stitch pattern. Can you consider doing a tutorial to show how you do it. I have been studying your techniques. I have 1 head project I haven't started yet. It's the free pattern, dragonflies.
I throughly enjoy 😉 your channel and the music selections 🎉🎉🎉😅😅❤❤❤❤

Amy! I was having similar problems! The only solution I found was to go a size or two bigger with your needle. I started with the usual 28 and found a 24 worked like a dream. Just a suggestion! Good luck

Amy your revised method seems to be working beautifully. This piece is so pretty and you are getting close to 40%! I look forward to seeing more.

J’ai fait la même chose avec mon Little Cake Shop d’Aimee Stewart et je ne regrette pas, la démarcation ne se voit pas 😊 Merci pour vos vidéos, très joli modèle ❤🏔️🌄🏡❤️😊

I would not ditch this project, I can understand that it gets frustrates that the needle keeps getting stuck and that it looks a bit too bulky. I think your solution is a great idea. and maybe instead of cross country, use the parking. but this project looks too pretty to ditch.

Beautiful stitching! Stitching cross country does create a lot of thread underneath and creates a frustration trying to push and pull the needle through. I do hope you will find a way to stick with this, since you have so much completed already, and it looks lovely. Perhaps if you switched methods to the line-by-line approach (I have watched you use on other pieces) would help reduce the bulk? I have used a 3-thread stitch also on DMC 310 stitches to give better coverage. Hope you find a way to complete this.

I only do parking and it doesn't really help with bulk. There will still be bulk when using 2 threads, unfortunately. I only ever use 2 threads on 22ct or bigger now because of this. Even better, 18ct or bigger.
