A vintage “Best Buy” Hotpoint Super Dryer model 17450 built between December 1979 and December 1980. This model matches the Hotpoint Super Electronic 18370 washing machine.

Great little dryer. Since its a European machine and the dial says 120 mins, I assume its a condenser dryer. Would love to see where the water collects and the lint filter. Thanks! :)

It is vented. It has a circular heating element at the front around the drum, air is pushed over the element, pushed through the drum and out the back of the drum where the filter is

@@TheLaundryCentre Interesting. I didn't know you had vented dryers over there. Sounds like the old, old Maytags (1950's-70's) with their 'halo of heat' where the drum was heated and air blew from front to back and also had the lint screen at the back of the drum. Thanks for the info. I love Euro washers and dryers.
