I'm aware of the audio on this one. Streaming has presented a number of technical issues that I'm currently trying to solve to make the VOD experience on here the best it possibly can be. Thank you for the patience.
I knew I recognized the voice actress! Laura Bailey, she voiced so many goddamn characters. I remember her as Serana from Skyrim: Dawnguard, Catherine and Fiona from Tales from the Borderlands. She's pretty incredible lol
Here, I found the final verdict in that article: "The tasteless clone of Painkiller, which is interesting only because it is the only clone of Painkiller in the foreseeable future." Not sure about the “tasteless”, it doesn't look so bad.
The intro sequence was really solid and the premise is interesting. Game would benefit from better physics and more engaging gameplay (instead of running away and shooting, using the environment in combat; dropping heavy objects on enemies with telekinesis or burning flammable objects with fire powers f. ex.) as well as enemy variety. Then again we only saw the first stage here so maybe the game is holding a few aces up its sleeve?
Levels consisting of a series of arenas? Guns with alt-fire modes, as in shotgun that can freeze, minigun that also shoots explosive rounds? Kill a certain number of enemies to turn on 'frenzy-vision' for a limited time? - Nope, I don't see what the comparisons to the Painkiller games are based on. At all. LOL :)
"A minigun the patients mind is trying to help me" Tut tut tut. No wonder the guy is having issues. You kill spiders with fire or explosives not a minigun.
the weapon upgrades are universal, as far as I know, they count for any weapon you have, just like the rage mode or whatever its called, the game doesn't drop enough upgrade orbs to make chosing which weapon to use it on viable anyway
The name of the game got my attention instantly, figure it was somewhat like Painkiller, which is what got me to play it initially. They did develop Painkiller Overdose though. Fairly mediocre, didn't think I'd play it more than once but this video got me to do a 2nd playthrough. It seems like I forgot what most of the game was like, but it was pretty interesting playing it again. It wouldn't save for some reason, so I had to play through it in one go, good thing it's not that long of a game.

How did you get your hands on this game? Link?

You can always kinda hear there past voice work in different roles same with troy baker
Man the way she vocalizes every time you jump... playing this game without a headset could get iffy.
I saw a review of this game in a Russian magazine about 8 years ago. Received a mixed score, either six out of ten, or seven.

I know right
Skimmed through and this game actually looks real neat. I'll watch this when I get back from work.

This could make for a good tv show kinda like a bleach type premise
Loving the uploads. Great video as always.

LOL :)
It's called Dreamkiller and it's in the same series as Painkiller. I don't think they were trying to hide anything.
Remember this game. Made in my country. I was thinking they never finished it.

Tut tut tut.

Would love to see you play "No One Lives Forever"
Yes. Both of them and Singularity are both worth playing and commentating over.
I dont think he could handle the low polygons and hit scan enemies lol
spells, spiders, level system and Laura Bailey's voice. It's like playing Skyrim all over again.

I'm so lucky that I actually have this game on CD. Many hours of fun this one.

This came out in 2009?!? It seems pretty competent for an obscurely developed game around that time.
I really like this game but the painkiller and doom do it better
More like Psychonaughts with the going into people's minds to (sometimes) help them.
Obscurity the game
This game gives off Jericho (ps2) vibes
It really doesn't look so bad. My personal favorite less-known FPS game is C&C: Renegade (the original one from 2002)
I remember it being pretty hard when I played it as a kid, played it again when I was older and I certainly wasn't imagining the difficulty.
How did you get this game I want to buy this game, and give it a try
It’s available on nitroblog

Sorry I missed out on this dx plays

144p? I'm extremely early
This game seems a lot better than that game where you're scared of women
This game was taken down by the Association of Anonymous Arachnophobes.
Lmao dunno why this seems so obscure, bought it on Steam a few years ago, pretty bad shooter
Except it doesn't seem to be on Steam
